This study has intention to propose some directions and guidelines for managing hotel employee`s effectively through researching about affections of job satisfaction from job stress, affections of job involvement and the relationship between job involvement and turnover intention for human resource management which is a core factor of hotel industry. From result of this study, Job stress gives negative impact to job involvement indirectly. it may show that on-going care those who have high job stress influence turnover intentions indirectly. Actually the guideline of human resource management in hotel industry is not obvious and studies on this agenda are not sufficient. If a direction of hotel human resource management may point toward not revenue and task-oriented but employee’s job stress and satisfaction, it will execute human resource management more efficiently and effectively. Further more it must influence to job performance and productivity and increase competitiveness of hotel industry from customer satisfaction.
DEA 기법을 활용한 국내 저가 항공사 경영 효율성 분석 연구

The purposes of this study were to distinguish between the efficient Low cost carrier and inefficient Low cost carrier of South Korea by applying Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to determine the efficiency of the operation and provide suggestions vehicle for identifying better benchmarks of inefficient Low cost carrier. This study aims to provide suggestions and directions of how to enhance the efficiency of the inefficient airlines. To this end, DEA was employed to analyze the efficiency of Low Cost Carrier in South Korea. The empirical results indicate that by using CCR model, 3 Airlines(Jeju airline, air busan, Jin-air) show relatively high efficiency which implies the total effectiveness of the operation. The CCR model implies that the group of inefficient low cost carriers’ should reduce their cost of sales and sales goods & administration(SG &A) expense based on the numerical figure of the potential improvement. Specifically, inefficient group should reduce 89.5% of Cost of Sales, 10.5% of SG &A expense in order to perform efficiently. This study has its significance in applying DEA method to measure the productivity of each airline in order to help identify problems of the airlines and suggest better ways of operation. Based on the results, some managerial implications can be helpful insights to operators and investors of Airlines. For further research, applying DEA method to analyze other countries’ low cost carrier using various inputs might be considered upon data availability.
