In this study, the steady state performance of a CO₂ heat pump water heater was measured with a variation of operating conditions such as refrigerant charge amount, compressor frequency, EEV opening, and water mass flow rate. Transient state performance tests were also conducted because of major system effects associated with the interaction between the CO₂ heat pump water heater and the water tank. Refrigerant charge amount was 1600 g. At compressor frequencies of 50, 60 ㎐, water mass flow rates of 95, 105 ㎏/h, and EEV openings of 8, 16%, the water heating temperatures were 65, 68℃ and COPs were 3.0, 2.8, respectively. In the transient condition, the instantaneous COP decreased as the inlet water temperature increased.

Optimum refrigerant charge amount for the system was 1600 g. At compressor frequencies of 50 ㎐ and 60 ㎐, water mass flow rates of 95 ㎏/h and 105 ㎏/h, and EEV opening of 8% and 16%, the water heating temperatures were 65℃ and 68℃ and COPs were 3.0 and 2.8, respectively. In the transient condition, the instantaneous COP decreased with an increase in the inlet water temperature.

The purpose of the paper is to design a system that is to support signal processing of each different type of transmitter and also develop a user interface where the designed system can be utilized for the measurement and maintenance of structures. Normally a measuring device logs only the same data because of its features that are characteristic of itself. However, in order to evaluate the health of real-time monitoring systems, it is needed to acquire various kinds of data by using different types of measuring devices. This paper is therefore concerned with the development of a system where users would be able to properly process the signals acquired from various kinds of measuring devices. In other words, the signal processing system that is developed here will be able to simultaneously acquire different data such as a broad range of acceleration or strain gauge. And also this developed system is proven to be valid.

This research aims at the development of a structural damage detection method for roller coaster. In this paper particularly, the behavior characteristics of peculiar structure like roller coaster are three-dimensionally identified, and later a baseline structure is built to be used for structural damage detection. As a target structure, the roller coaster located at Seoul Children's Grand Park is chosen and its miniature model is produced by one over twenty in reduced proportion. On the model, a three-dimensional FE analysis is done, and its result is compared with that of modal experiment. The comparison verifies the excellence of the mathematical analysis model. As a result, the dynamic characteristics of special mode is found ultimately for damage detection, and its value obtained here is provided for the basic structure as a primary source.
