The purpose of this study was to investigate the Effect of Sports Communicator`Characteristics on the Viewing Satisfaction of Audience Focused on the Meditating Effecf of Parasocial Interaction(Horton & Wohl, 1956). For the study, 299 TV viewers aged above 17 were surveyed in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do. Myung-il Choi, Jea- Bum Kim`s(2007) and Hyun-jung Choi`s(2004) instruments were used to measure Sports Communicator` Characteristics, Parasocial Interaction, and Viewing Satisfaction. The date were analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Regression analysis. The Final results are follows. First, The Sports Communicator`Characteristics, Parasocial Interaction, Viewing Satisfaction was difference according to socal population`Characteristics. The significant difference showed on appearance, persoal appeal, and voice & speech in low factors of the Sports Communicator`Characteristics and Viewing Satisfaction according to the gender. The significant difference showed on Parasocial Interaction and Viewing Satisfaction according to the age. The significant difference showed on appearance in low factors of the Sports Communicator`Characteristics, Parasocial Interaction, and Viewing Satisfaction according to the scholastic ability. The significant difference showed on appearance, persoal appeal, voice & speech, and professonal attributes in low factors of the Sports Communicator`Characteristics, Parasocial Interaction, and Viewing Satisfaction according to Viewing time. The last. The significant difference showed on appearance, persoal appeal, voice & speech, and professonal attributes in low factors of the Sports Communicator`Characteristics, Parasocial Interaction, and Viewing Satisfaction according to Viewing frequency. second, the result that Sports Communicator`Characteristics influenced Parasocial Interaction and Viewing Satisfaction , and Parasocial Interaction influenced Viewing Satisfaction.
