Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) is able to obtain the ultra-fine grained and high hardened metal. The microstructure and texture of 1050 Al sheets by ECAP are changed by a severe plastic deformation. A study on the microstructure and texture were investigated on 1050 Al sheets prepared by ECAPed and heat treated specimens. The plastic strain ratio (γ-value), average T -value (γ^ -value), and A γ -value were obtained from the measured pole figures data to get the formability in as ECAPed and heat treated 1050 Al sheets. The r -value and r -value of as ECAPed and heat treated Al sheets are higher than that of as heat treated Al sheets. The△ r -value is the lowest value close to zero in three passes ECAPed and 200° C/ I hour annealed sheets. The increasing of the r -value, and γ^ -value in as ECAPed and heat treated 1050 Al sheets is related to the decreasing of cube component, {001}<100>, and shear texture component, {111}<112>, increasing a number of ECAP passes and heat treatment.
