The reliability of component test is one of the most important things in process of vehicle development. Especially, in aspect of reducing cost and time, the component test correlated with PG(Proving Ground) make it more efficient the vehicle development. So, it is getting more demanded to develop the new component test method correlated with PG lately. In resent year, a various of problems related to fuel tank assembly have occurred during full vehicle durability test in PG, not component test. The reason is that the existing component test method for fuel tank assembly is a restrict test method without PG correlation and not including the vibration characteristic of fuel tank assembly. So, the need to develop the more efficient component test method for fuel tank assembly is demanded. In this paper, A new test method for fuel tank assembly based on Measured Vehicle Load Data is proposed using random PSD profile. This paper also shows that this new test method is the more improved test in contradistinction to the existing one by making validate test for fuel tank of prototype.
