홀리스틱 교육의 관점에서 본 학교평가 결과와 관련된 평가지표 탐색 : A교육청 학교평가 사례를 중심으로

이 연구는 홀리스틱 교육의 관점에서 학교평가지표와 평가결과 간의 관계를 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 A교육청의 2015년 초·중·고 학교평가 결과 데이터를 활용하여 학교 급별 평가영역과 평가지표, 평가결과 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 급별 교육과정 및 교수학습, 교육경영, 교육성과의 3개 평가영역과 학교평가 결과는 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 특히 모든 학교 급에서 교육과정 및 교수학습 영역과 학교평가 결과 간에는 강한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 급별로 평가영역에 따른 대부분의 평가지표와 평가결과 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 인과관계를 보였으나, 평가지표별 설명력은 다르게 나타났다. 특히 학교 급 공통적으로 학교평가 결과와 높은 인과관계를 가지는 평가지표가 발견되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 볼 때, 시·도교육청에서는 학교 급별로 동일한 평가지표를 적용하더라도 학교 급별 환경적 특성을 고려하여 맞춤형 평가기준을 마련하고, 학교 급별 공통적으로 높은 설명력을 가지는 평가지표는 평가기관에서 정책적으로 관리·지원할 필요가 있다. The study was designed to examine the relationship of the school evaluation indicators and evaluation results. To meet the goal of the research, the relationship of school evaluation domains, indicators and results by the levels of schools has been analyzed based on the data from the Primary, middle and higher secondary level of an office of Education in 2015. The results are as follows. First, the school level curriculum and teaching and learning, education management, education achievement showed a statistically significant positive correlation with evaluation result; especially curriculum, teaching and school evaluation in every level of school showed a strong correlation. Second, most of the evaluation indicators of each level of school and school evaluation results showed a statistically significant causal relationship, but each evaluation indicator’s explanation power has been different. Especially, indicators has found high causality with school evaluation results in all levels of schools. From this research results, evaluation institutes should develop customized evaluation indicators based on the environments of school levels. And evaluation institutes should also management and support the indicators with explanation power.
