This study analyzed the primary energy consumption changes according to the variable conditions for each household type of multi-unit dwelling. As a result of the analysis by household type, primary energy consumption decreased as the exclusive area increased. However, 59㎡ type has a larger A/V ratio than 46㎡ type, indicating that energy consumption is higher. According to the analysis by insulation criteria, the reduction in primary energy consumption was significant when the construction standards for energy-saving eco-friendly housing insulation, which is the insulation criteria in 2019, and the 2022 LH zero energy passive guidelines insulation was applied. The south-facing building orientation was the most advantageous, and as the number of floors increased, the A/V become smaller, and the primary energy consumption decreased. Overall, primary energy consumption decreased due to reduced light power density, but in some sections, primary energy consumption increased rather because heating energy increases are greater than lighting energy decreases
