Anterior cervical osteophytes are common and usually asymptomatic in elderly people. Due to mechanical compressions, inflammations, and tissues swelling of osteophytes, patients may be presented with multiple complications, such as dysphagia, dysphonia, dyspnea, and pulmonary aspiration. Paradoxical vocal cord motion is an uncommon disease characterized by vocal cord adductions during inspiration and/or expiration. This condition can create shortness of breath, wheezing, respiratory stridor or breathy dysphonia. We report a rare case demonstrating combined symptoms of dyspnea, dysphonia as well as dysphagia at the same time in a patient with asymptomatic anterior cervical osteophytes. Moreover, this is the first report demonstrating that anterior osteophytes can be a possible etiological factor for paradoxical vocal cord motion that induces serious respiratory symptoms.

Deciding the amount of safety stock deriving from uncertain supply period is very difficult. But we can get the conclution when the lead time of the suppling and the size of the order quantity is known. There are two cases to consider the problem of setting safety stock when both the demand in a period and lead time are characterized as random variables. In the frist case the parameters of the demand and lead time destributions are known, second are unknown. The objective of this study is to present the setting safety stocks in the case suppling period unknown. A numerical example is also presented to show the procedure and to determine safety stock level.

There are many age based preventive maintenance models which differ in purpose and in complexity from the simple model considered in this paper. But even if the model is simple, the method to obtain the optimal solution to minimige the cost per unit of time of utilization is one to use sophisticated numerical method, and another to use a chart which is specially designed to obviate the need for complicate computations. But if such a chart is not available, it is unavoidable to use the former sophisticated numerical method. In this point of view, this paper aims to provide the easy solution procedures to determine the optimal age of replacement for the simple replacement model which one faces freguently.

1960年代를 基點으로하여 推進하였딘 經濟開發計劃에 힘입어 우리나라도 經濟各部門에서 括目할만한 成長을 갖어온것이 事寶이다. 1人當 國民所得이 2,000불을 바라보게 되었고 輪出도 今年度目標 (1983) 235億불을 넘어섰다는 政府發表가 있었다. 開發途上國의 軌道를 벗어나 곧 先進國隊列에 進入할 수 있다는 것이다. 이러한 經濟的成果를 이룩할 수 있었던 밑바탕에는 産業의 發展을 第1의 功績으로 꼽아야 할 것이다. 外資의 導入은 勿論 經濟가 安定되면서 貯蓄에 依한 國內資本도 調達되여 企業의 投資活動은 活發하게 이루어졌다. 經濟發展初 우리나라는 機械設備 및 工場建設로 企業經營은 滿足한 것으로 認識되어 왔다. 製品은 만들기만 하면 팔렸고 價格은 企業側의 決定에 따를수 밖에 없었다. 그러나 이제 事情이 달라졌다. 어느製品이나 業種을 莫論하고 競爭時代로 접어들게 됐고 特히 輸出品을 生産하는 企業은 치열한 競爭을 하여야하게 됐다. 企業經營의 重要性이 부각되기 始作한 것이다. 品質向上, 原價節滅, 生産性向士等이 企業의 存立을 左石할만큼 重要하게 되었다. 이러한 要因들은 施設의 改善, 接術의 向上, 賃金의 引上등 短期的이고 臨時方便的인 方法으로도處方은 할 수 있겠으나 그보다는 從業員에게 어떤 動機를 賦與하므로 보다 合理的인 意識을 形成하여 주는 것이 더욱 重要하게 되지않았는가 한다. Elton Maras 敎授가 提唱한 八間關係論 (Human Relation)이 學界와 産業界의 非常한 關心을 끌었던 所以도 이런데서 起因하는 것인가 한다. 本硏究는 特別學校를 最初로 設立, 邏營하는 C紡績 (妹)을 對象으로 하였다. 特別學校의 設立도 오래되었고 그래서 邏營도 合理的일것이라고 생각되었기 때문이다. 從業員의 意識梅造를 調査하는데는 品質向上, 原價節滅, 生産性向上등에 關聯지어 設問도 作成하였고 分析도 하여 보았다. 本硏究가 企業發展에 도움이 되였으면 하는마음이 간절하다. It is true that the economy of our country in every section has been growing up on account of the Economy Development plannings beginning from 1960. The government announced that the personal income would reach soon to 2,000$ and the total amount of exports would be over the target of this year(1983), 235 hundred million dallars. It is expected that we can break away from the orbit of developing country group and enter into the level of the advanced countries of the world. We owe this wonderful economic growth to the successful development of industries in every fields. Owing to the importation of foreign capital and saving capital of the interrior in our country, the investment by enterprisers was very active enormously. At the beginning of economic growth, the enterprisers was satisfied with only mechanical equipment and plant construction, and the prices of products were decided only by their desire. But the economic environment was changed, and every products and enterprises must be competed with one another in sales. Especially the enterprises depending on the export had to compete more intensively. And so importance of management of industries was beginning to be recognized by the enterprisers in every fields. Quality rising, cost down, productivity improvement were the very important elements to the enterprises to decision on being life of. As a means to solve these important problems, we generally adapted the betterment of industrial facilities, the rising Of the technical level and the higher wage. But these are only temporary steps, the more important element is giving some motivations for employees to do their best. Owing to this reason, the theory of Human Relation advocated by prof Elton Mayor gave rise to the interests of the academic world and the field of industries. This study selected as an object the Chung-nam Textile Co, witch established servaral junior and senior high schoals for the employees for the first time in our country. This is the reason why this study selected it. And their school management is very rational in every section. For the study of the workers conciousness, this study made some questions based on quality rising, cost down and productivity improvement. And the analysis of this response were made basing on the above. It is expected that this study would contribute to the management of the enterprises in our country.
