In this paper, the discharge characteristics of ac-type cylindrical discharge devices with diameters (D) in the 50~400μm range have been investigated numerically. The cylindrical devices have much lower breakdown voltages compared to the coplanar electrode structures. The breakdown voltage of the cylindrical structures increases with the decrease of diameters in 50~100μm range. In 100~200μm range, however, the breakdown voltage decreases slightly with the decrease of diameters. Also, as the diameter gets smaller, the electron heating efficiency is greatly improved.

In ac discharge, emission efficiency shows an time-varying characteristics during discharge. The phenomenon is caused by the potential distribution changes during the discharge, which indicates that a specific potential distribution can contribute to a high improvement of the emission efficiency. To create an artificial environment for a potential distribution favorable to emission efficiency, we used the asymmetric electrode structure and proved the capability. Our results showed that the ratio of the area of anode to cathode became larger, the emission efficacy was greatly improved.

‘Cheongmiin’ is a green seed-coated soybean cultivar developed from a cross between ‘Cheongjakong’ and ‘Daemang’ in 2002. The F₁ and F₂ populations were grown for 2 years, and promising lines were selected based on the pedigree method from generations F₃ to F₅. Preliminary and advanced yield trials were conducted from 2009 to 2010, and regional yield trials (RYTs) were conducted in eightregions from 2011 to 2013. ‘Cheongmiin’ is a determinate soybean with white flowers, green cotyledons, and spherical green seeds. Theaverage flowering and maturing dates of ‘Cheongmiin’ were August 1st and October 22nd, respectively. In terms of quantitative characteristics,‘Cheongmiin’ has a larger seed size (34.3 g/100-seed weight) than that of ‘Cheongdu1ho’ (24.5 g/100-seed weight), and has also been shownto be tolerant to lodging and pod shattering in the field in RYTs and oven drying tests, respectively. Furthermore, ‘Cheongmiin’ has beenfound to be resistant to bacterial pustules in the field and soybean mosaic viruses (G5H and G6H strains) in inoculation tests. The meanyield of ‘Cheongmiin’ in the RYTs was 272 kg/10 a, which was 4% higher than that of ‘Cheongdu1ho’. Given its large seed size and seedcoat color, ‘Cheongmiin’ is expected to be highly useful for cooking with rice and for the preparation of rice cakes (Registration No. 7688).

In this paper, we have studied the basic discharge characteristics of ac-type cylindrical microcavity structure. The structure has a two electrodes, which are positioned in the bottom of the cavity and in the side wall of the cylinder, respectively. The discharge showed asymmetric phenomena depending on the position of a cathode electrode. When the bottom electrode was a cathode, the discharge was stronger even though the area of the cathode was smaller than that of the anode. Simulation results revealed that the focused electric field toward the bottom electrode increased ion density in the space which in tum strengthened the cathode sheath and ionization process.

갈색거저리 유충 분말이 어묵의 품질특성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 갈색거저리 유충을 건조하고 분말화하여 첨가한 어묵의 품질특성을 분석하였다. 어묵의 수분함량은 갈색거저리 유충 분말 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 감소하였으며, 수분흡수력은 첨가량 증가에 따라 증가하였다. 색도는 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 L값이 감소하고 a값이 증가하였다. 조직감과 절단력은 0% 튀김어묵에서 각각 2.63 kg 및 0.09 kg이었으며, 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 증가하여 9% 첨가에서는 각각 3.18 kg 및 0.14 kg이었다. pH는 갈색거저리 유충 분말의 첨가량에 따라 유의적인 차이가 없었으며, 국물 탁도는 튀김어묵이 높게 나타났다. 관능검사 결과 색, 향, 맛, 조직감 및 전체적 기호도에서 0%와 3% 첨가군이 우수하였으며, 3% 이상의 첨가량에서는 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 낮아졌다. 이상의 품질특성과 관능특성 결과를 종합해보았을 때 어묵제조에 적합한 갈색거저리 유충 분말의 함량은 3%로 판단되었다. The quality characteristics of fish cakes containing different amounts of mealworm powder were analyzed. The moisture content decreased while water absorption index increased with the addition of mealworm powder. The L value was decreased but a value was increased as the amount of mealworm powder added increased. The hardness and cutting forces were 2.63 and 0.09 kg, respectively, in the 0% fried fish cake. With an increase in the amount of mealworm powder, the hardness and cutting force increased to 3.18 and 0.14 kg in the 9% fried fish cake. The pH did not differ with the addition of mealworm powder. During the sensory evaluation, 0 and 3% groups had the highest scores in color, flavor, taste, texture and overall acceptance. These scores decreased with increasing mealworm powder content. Based on the results of the quality characteristics and sensory evaluation, the amount of mealworm powder addition suitable for fish cake production was 3%.

‘Cheongja5’ is a black seed coat soybean cultivar developed from crossing ‘Milyang181’ and ‘YS1886 (Cheongdu1/Tanbaguro)’ in 2007. Promising lines were selected using the pedigree method from F3 to F5. The preliminary and advanced yield trials were conducted in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Regional yield trials (RYT) were conducted in seven regions from 2015 to 2017. ‘Cheongja5’ has a determinate growth habit, oval leaflet shape, brown pubescence, and white flowers. The seed of ‘Cheongja5’ has a black seed coat color with green cotyledon. Flowering and maturing dates were Aug. 3 and Oct. 24, respectively. Regarding the quantitative characteristics, ‘Cheongja5’ has large seed size (37.0 g/100-seed weight) and more pods than ‘Cheongja3’. ‘Cheongja5’ was tolerant to pod shattering in field and indoor RYT tests. ‘Cheongja5’ was resistant to bacterial pustule in the field and soybean mosaic virus (strains G6H and G7H) in the inoculation test. Although its seed quality-related characteristics were almost similar to those of ‘Cheongja3’, it contained more anthocyanin which is a main functional component of black soybean. The mean yield of ‘Cheongja5’ in the RYTs was 343 kg/10 a which was 30% higher than that of ‘Cheongja3’. ‘Cheongja5’ is expected to be widely cultivated as a material for making soy-food that uses black soybean because of its large seed size and high yield potential (Registration No. 7687).

In this paper, the effect of the secondary electron emission coefficient of Xe ion on glow discharge was examined by 1D numerical simulation. The simulation was performed for two distinct structures, short and long gaps. The features of the glow discharges in the both structures, firing and sustain voltages, luminance, and efficiency, were analyzed at various secondary electron emission coefficient of Xe ion.
정보교과교육 : 아두이노(Arduino)를 이용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅의 교육적 활용 방안 연구

우리나라는 세계 1위의 IT 인프라를 갖추고 있지만 실제 교육 현장의 컴퓨터 사용 비율을 보면 응용소프트웨어 조작, 웹검색, 컨텐츠 소비 등과 같은 단순 사용 영역에 편중되어 프로그래밍 교육 비율이 높은 선진 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근 초등학교에서도 2007. 정보통신기술교육지침의 개정에 따라 컴퓨터교육이 응용프로그램의 활용에 그치는 것이 아니라 정보통신 기술을 활용하여 교과 및 실생활의 여러 문제들을 해결하고 알고리즘과 프로그래밍 학습을 통해 논리적 사고와 문제해결력을 기르기 위해 로봇이나 I/O보드 등을 이용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅(Physical Computing)에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 프로그래밍을 처음 시작하는 학생들이 사용하기 쉽고 꾸준히 흥미를 유지할 수 있으며 다양한 분야에 적용 및 응용이 가능한 아두이노(Arduino)의 교육적 활용 방안에 대한 방안을 연구하고자 한다.
