The purpose of a stabilization system that is mounted on military vehicles is to ensure that the system is correctly oriented in the direction in which it wishes to operate without regard to the movement of the vehicle. This paper proposes an algorithm to improve the stabilization control accuracy of platform with 2-axis motor driven gimbal structure.

In the case of the existing weak field control algorithm, the magnetic flux shaft current changes excessively in a section varying below the rated voltage, so that in the transient state, the voltage and current ripple increase and the response to the normal state is slow. In this paper, we studied an algorithm to increase responsiveness and suppress ripple in transient state through direct magnetic flux control for optimal d-axis current command generation.
