자연적 언어 중재가 발달지체 유아의 비언어적 의사소통 행동에 미치는 영향

The study was conducted in order to investigate the effect of naturalistic language intervention on young children`s nonverbal communication behaviors. A multiple baseline design was used for three young children with developmental delays enrolled in a special class of integrated kindergarten. Baseline, intervention, and maintenance phases were introduced subsequently. Nonverbal communication behaviors of participants were analyzed after recording their behaviors during free-choice activities. The results indicated that naturalistic language intervention increased non-verbal communication behaviors of 3 young children and maintained increased behaviors after one week later of intervention termination. The results also showed that naturalistic language intervention used in inclusive setting had a positive effect on non-verbal communication behaviors of young children with developmental delays.
