Inkjet printing is a non-contact and direct writing associated with a computer. In the industrial field, there have been many efforts to utilize the inkjet printing as a new way of manufacturing, especially for electronic devices. For the application of inkjet printing to electronic field, one of the key factors is exact realization of designed images into printed patterns. In this work, micro patterning for conducting line has been studied using the piezoelectric print head and silver nano ink. Dimensions of printed images have been predicted in terms of print resolution and diameter of a single dot. The predicted and the measured values showed consistent results. Using the results, the design capability for industrial inkjet printing could be achieved.

A tractor attached TMR(model 430) mixer has been developed in a previous study. However, the mixer was found to be improved through field applications in its capacity, manufacturing cost, ergonomic design and power-train requirement. The TMR mixer was modified into a model TMR500, approved by Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, as follows : 1. Roughage cutting system was seperated from the mixer, resulting in the 33% reduction of manufacturing cost. 2. Enlarged hopper capacity enabled to feed 60 heads at a batch. 3. Hydraulically controlled gate system saved ergonomic man power. 4. Power transmission system was changed from a chain-sprocket system(27:1) to the gear-train reduction system(38.6:1) to satisfy the recommended use of 540rpm PTO input.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of soybean oil supplementation on the growth performance, serum lipid composition and serum IgG level in pigs. One hundred and forty four crossbred (Laudrace x Yorkshire x Duroc) pigs, 72 pigs in each sex, weaned at 3 wks of age were randomly allotted to 12 pens of 12 pigs each. four pens, two in each sex, were assigned to each of the three fat treated diets for six weeks (3 wks for prestarter diets and 3 wks for starter diets); soybean oil (SO), soybean oil + tallow (SO + TA) and tallow (TA). Fats were supplemented at the level of 5% for prestarter diets and 4% for starter diets. Although average daily feed intake (ADFI), average daily gain (ADG) and feed conversion ratio (F/G) were not significantly different among treatments, pigs fed TA diet showed highest ADG in prestarter period while pigs fed SO + TA diet showed highest ADG in starter period. The levels of total cholesterol, HDL. cholesterol and IgG in serum were not significantly different among treatments. However, the level of LDL + VLDL-cholesterol was highest in pigs fed SO diet and lowest in pigs fed SO + TA diet while the level of triglyceride was significantly higher in pigs fed TA diet than in those fed SO + TA diet or SO diet. It is concluded that supplementation of SO + TA blend improves growth performance and decrease serum LDL + VLDL-cholesterol and triglyceride of weanling pigs.
