자동화된 색종이 모자이크 렌더링

비사실적 렌더링 기법(NPR, Non Photorealistic Rendering)에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 여러 컴퓨터 그래픽스 연구자들에 의해서 펜화, 수채화 , 인상파 기법 등 예술적 기법들을 표현하기 위한 연구가 진행되어 오고 있다. 비사실적 렌더링 기법에서 가장 초점을 두고있는 것은 사람이 직접 그리거나 조작 한 듯한 표현을 만들어 낼 수 있으냐 하는 것이다. 본 논문은 교육이나 예술적인 표현을 위해 사용되고 있는 종이를 찢어 붙여 표현하는 모자이크 작품을 자도으로 생성해 주는 기법을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 종 이를 칼이나 가위같은 도구에 의해 잘려진 것이 아닌 자연스럽게 찢어진 종이 표현 기술, 종이의 질감 표 현 기술, 붙여지는 종이의 형태를 결정하기 위한 다각형 생성기법등을 제시한다. Recently as it is growing concern about NPR(Non-Photorealistic Rendering), Several computer graphics researchers are studying to simulate conventional artistic expressions such as pen-and-ink illustrations, watercolor and impressionism technique. In the NPR it is important thing that someone can produce a representation looked like work drawn or manipulated people directly. In this paper we propose that the technique could make the mosaic work automatically, tore and tagged a paper by hands used to educational and artistical representation, we suggest various methods to express a shape and texture of paper tore by hands without using cutters or scissors.

실제 작품의 분석을 통한 점묘화의 색상병치

In this paper, we proposes a method that analyzes the characteristics and patterns of color juxtaposition based on the color wheel used by pointillism painter and an algorithm that generates pointillistic images by applying obtained analysis data. In order to analyze color juxtaposition of pointillism, we extract the stroke colors of real painting and find the most similar probability density functions(PDFs) through applying good-of-fit tests for the probabilistic distribution of stroke colors. By performing the juxtaposition of color based on the found PDFs, we can convert input image to pointillistic image effectively. It can be seen that this study shows reliability in the use of data obtained from actual paintings and that leads to perform a reasonable work. 본 논문에서는 점묘주의에서 화가들이 사용했던 색상이론을 기반으로 색상병치의 특징 및 패턴을 분석하고 얻어진 분석 데이터를 회화적 렌더링에 적용해 점묘화를 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 점묘화의 병치를 분석하기 위해서, 실제 작품에 나타나는 스트로크의 색상을 추출하고 그 색상의 분포도를 잘 알려진 확률분포함수와 적합도 검정을 통해 최적의 분포도 함수를 얻는다. 이러한 분포도 함수를 이용해 색상 병치를 함으로써 2D 입력영상을 점묘화풍의 영상으로 효과적으로 변환할 수 있었다. 우리의 연구는 실제 작품을 통해 얻어진 데이터를 사용함으로써 보다 신뢰성이 있으며 합리적이라고 할 수 있다.

아프리카 자유무역지대(AfCFTA) 출범과 시사점

○ ’19년 7.7일 아프리카 54개국이 가입한 아프리카 자유무역지대(AfCFTA)가 공식 출범함에 따라 아프리카는 무역과 투자가 증가할 전망 - 아프리카연합(AU)은 2022년까지 90%의 상품에 대한 관세를 철폐하여 아프리카 대륙 內 무역을 53% 이상 증가시킨다는 계획임 - 국제통화기금(IMF)도 최근 경제전망 보고서를 통해 AfCFTA에서 상품에 대한 관세가 철폐된다면 2040년까지 역내 무역 규모가 15~25% 증가할 것으로 전망 - AfCFTA가 정식으로 발효되면서 아프리카는 12.5억 명의 인구를 토대로 U$2.2조에서 U$3.4조 사이의 시장을 창출할 것으로 보임 ○ AfCFTA 발효로 아프리카 산업, 무역 등 경제에 많은 변화가 일어날 전망 - AfCFTA 회원국 간 관세 및 비관세 장벽이 낮아지면 단기적으로 아프리카기업의 경쟁력 제고를 통해 아프리카 역내 무역은 혜택을 받을 것으로 예상 - 역내무역의증가는단기적으로인프라, 서비스, 기술산업분야에서역내투자증가로도이어질전망 - AfCFTA 협정 1단계에서 회원국은 상품 무역, 서비스 무역, 분쟁 해결 규칙·절차에 동의했으며, 2단계는 경쟁 원칙, 투자, 지적 재산권 등의 협약을 다룰 예정임 ○ AfCFTA 활용을 통한 아프리카와의 무역 증대와 투자 확대를 위해서는 주요거점국가를 선정해 역량을 집중한 후 인근국가로 확대해 나가는 전략이 필요 - 주요 투자 분야로는 의류 및 섬유, 자동차 부품 등의 제조업과 이차전지원료인 코발트, 흑연 등의 자원, 제분·제당 등 기초 제조업이 우선 - 주요 무역 분야는 한국의 강점이 있는 IT, 가전, 자동차, 화학제품과 생필품 등이며 주요 대상 국가는 남아공, 나이지리아, 이집트, 모로코 등임 ○ AfCFTA 본격 출범에 맞춰 대아프리카 무역 확대와 선별적 투자 방안 등을 검토할 필요가 있음 - 이를 위해 먼저 아프리카 중산층 소비자를 우선 타깃으로 선정하여 수출증대 방안을 마련하고, 발전속도가 빠를 것으로 예상되는 산업분야 분석과 선정 필요 - 이 밖에 거점국가를 활용한 우회 수출확대 전략과 AfCFTA 출범에 따른 교역구조의 변화 등을 고려한 수출전략을 수립할 필요가 있음 - 무엇보다 아프리카의 정치, 경제 리스크를 감안, 진출 시 면밀한 모니터링 필요

새로운 색종이 모자이크 모양 결정과 입체감 생성 알고리즘에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 색종이를 찢어 붙이는 모자이크 효과를 표현하는 영역 분할에 기반한 색종이 모자이크 렌더링 기법과 모자이크 작품에 그림자효과를 추가함으로써 입체감을 표현할 수 있는 방법을 소개하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 색종이 모자이크 렌더링 기법은 입력영상의 특징을 영역분할기법을 이용하여 추출한 후에 모자이크 모양을 결정하기 때문에 기존의 보로노이 다이어그램을 이용하여 영상영역을 균일한 사이즈의 모자이크로 분할하는 방법보다 다양한 크기의 모자이크를 생성할 수 있으며 또한 이미지의 특징이 잘 표현 될 수 있도록 모자이크의 위치를 결정할 수 있다. 이렇게 함으로써 실제에서 나타날 수 있는 색종이 모자이크작품을 만들어 낼 수 있다. 그리고 붙여진 모자이크 종이의 두께 차이로 인해 생기는 그림자를 생성함으로써 실제 모자이크 작품에서 나타날 수 있는 입체감을 표현할 수 있다. This paper proposes a colored paper mosaic rendering technique based on image segmentation that can automatically generate torn and tagged colored paper mosaic effect. and 3D effect that come about in human-made mosaic work can be represented by generating shadow using difference of paper thickness. Previous method did not produce satisfactory results due to the ineffectiveness of having to use pieces of the same size. The proposed two methods for determination of paper shape and location that are based on segmentation can subdivide image area by considering characteristics of image. The first method is to generate Voronoi polygon after subdividing the segmented image again using quad tree. And the second method is to apply the Voronoi diagram on each segmentation layer. Through these methods, the characteristic of the image is expressed in more detail than previous colored paper mosaic rendering method and these methods enable to produce image that is closer to human-made mosaic work.

Ventriculus Terminalis in Adults: Unusual Magnetic Resonance Imaging Features and Review of the Literature

Objective: The ventriculus terminalis (VT) in adults is a rare pathology. We report various MR imaging features of the adult VT. Materials and Methods: Ten patients were included in this retrospective review.. All patients had undergone magnetic resonance (MR imaging with a surface coil that used two different 1.5T MR systems. All patients had undergone initial and follow-up MR imaging with contrast enhancement using gadopentate dimeglumine. Three patients underwent additional MR imaging using the echocardiogram-gated spatial modulation of magnetization (SPAMM) technique. If a shift in tagging band during the systolic phase was less than half of the band space, it was defined as a “non-pulsatile fluid”. Two neuroradiologists independently reviewed these images, while clinical symptoms and outcomes were statistically analyzed between the treated and non-treated group. Results: All cases presented an intramedullary cystic lesion in the conus medullaris and showed the same signal intensity as CSF. Three VTs had intracystic septation and cord edema, which were pathologically confirmed after surgery; two of these were associated with kyphotic deformity and spinal arteriovenous malformation. SPAMM-MRI of 3 patients demonstrated non-pulsatile fluid motion within the VT. In the treated group, clinical symptoms improved better than the non-treated group. Conclusion: The adult VT shows some unusual imaging features, including septation, cord edema, and coexistence of a spinal AVM, as well as the typical findings. ○ 아프리카는 U$2.5조에 달하는 경제규모와 12억 명 인구를 보유한 거대 소비 시장으로 경제적 중요성이 커지면서 주요 국가 및 기업들의 진출 확대 추세 - 최근 아프리카와의 교역 및 기업진출에서 중국이 압도적 우위를 보이는 가운데 일본도 약 450여 개 기업이 아프리카에서 활동하고 있음 - 특히 일본상사들은 풍부한 정보력과 전문인력 그리고 광범위한 네트워크 구축을 바탕으로 일본기업들의 아프리카 진출을 선도하고 있음 ○ 일본상사들은 2000년대 초까지 아프리카의 풍부한 자원개발과 자동차, 철강 등 일본 제품 판매에 집중 - 토요타 통상은 모회사인 토요타 자동차 판매망 구축과 함께 동남부 아프리카에 거점 마련 - 반면, 마루베니는 신일철(NSSMC) 및 현지기업과 공동으로 아프리카에 가공센터를 건립하여 철강판매에 중점을 두고 잇고 스미토모와 미쓰이 등은 광물 및 에너지자원 개발을 핵심 사업으로 운용 ○ 그러나 2010년 이후 중국의 아프리카시장 지배력이 강화되고 유럽·인도 등과의 경쟁이 심화되면서 일본상사들은 새로운 아프리카 진출 전략 구상 - 아프리카에 대한 투자나 무역규모 면에서 중국과 인도 등에 뒤진 일본은 아프리카에 진출한 외국계 기업들과 제휴 및 인수를 통해 경쟁력 강화 - 제휴 및 인수 대상 외국계 기업으로는 프랑스 기업을 가장 선호하는데 이는 일본상사들이 취약한 불어권 국가에 거점을 구축하기 위함 - 또한 기존 자원개발과 플랜트 Organizer 중심에서 금융, IT, 쇼핑센터 운영 등 다양한 분야로 사업 다각화 시도 ○ 포스코대우를 비롯한 국내업체도 지점을 개설하고 Trading 및 플랜트 organizing 사업을 수행하고 있으나, 사업 및 경쟁력 강화 방안 마련 필요 - 일본상사들이 신재생, 금융, 농업 등 신사업 모델 통해 사업확대를 추진하듯 국내상사들도 중장기적 관점에서 아프리카 사업확대 필요 - 특히 사업다각화 및 진출 리스크 헷지를 위해 프랑스 및 인도계 등의 기업들과 제휴를 고려 - 또한 일본상사들의 사례처럼 국내상사들도 공동진출을 통해 경쟁력 확보 및 시너지 효과를 모색
