The effect of CO₂ concentration (500, 3,000, 6,000㎕/ℓ) on the mycelial growth and fruit body primordium formation of Ganoderma lucidum on nutrient agar medium was examined. Optimum CO₂ concentration for vegetative growth was above 3,000㎕/ℓ. Fruit body initiation was accelerated at higher than 3,000㎕/ℓ CO₂ exposure but the maximum number and size of primordia, and primordium color were not influenced by CO₂ concentrations. Whereas each atypical fruiting structure forming stock culture showed different fruiting time under each concentration of CO₂ exposure.

한국산(韓國産) 영지(靈芝)버섯의 계통분류(系統分類) 및 유전형질(遺傳形質)을 탐색(探索)하기 위하여 영지균(靈芝菌)의 배양적(培養的) 특성(特性)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 한국산(韓國産) 자생영지균(自生靈芝菌)은 Oat meal agar 및 Rice bran extract agar에서 균사생장(菌絲生長)이 양호(良好)하고 Mycelial sector, Mycelial strand, Concentric zone의 형성(形成)은 배지(培地)의 영향(影響)을 받으나 균주(菌株)에 따라서도 차이(差異)를 보였다. 2. 영지균(靈芝菌)은 온도(溫度) $30^{\circ}C$, pH 5.5~6.0일때 균사생장(菌絲生長)이 좋았으며 백색형광등(白色螢光燈) 조사(照射)는 균사생장(菌絲生長)을 억제(抑制)하였고 광처리(光處理)의 균사생장억제기간(菌絲生長抑制時間)은 4~8시간(時間)사이였다. 3. 균사생장중(菌絲生長中)의 Mycelial strand의 형성(形成)에는 광(光)의 조사(照射) 그리고 Mycelial sector의 형성(形成)에는 배지(培地)의 영양원(營養源)과 광(光)의 조사등(照射等) 제(諸) 요인(要因)이 관여(關與)하였고 균주간(菌株間)에도 명확(明確)한 차이(差異)를 보였다. 4. 균배양중(菌培養中) 및 균사생장후(菌絲生長後) 광조사(光照射)는 자실체형성(子實體形成)을 유도하였는데 그 영향(影響)은 균주(菌株)에 따라 뚜렷한 차이(差異)를 보였고 균사생장중(菌絲生長中) 후막포자(厚膜胞子)의 형성(形成)은 인공재배시(人工栽培時) 편각형(扁角型) 자실체(子實體)를 형성(形成)하는 균주(菌株)에서 많이 발견(發見)되었고 녹각형(鹿角型) 자실체(子實體)를 형성(形成)하는 균주(菌株)에서는 많지 않았다. In order to elucidate the systematic taxonomy and genetic characters of Canoderma lucidum, cultural characteristics of the fungus were investigated. Mycelial growth of Ganoderma lucidum were favorable on oat meal agar medium, and optimum temperature and pH of the medium for mycelial growth were $30^{\circ}C$ and 5.5-6.0 respectively. Irradiation of white fluorescent lamp inhibited mycelial growth and critical time for inhibition of mycelial growth was 4-8 hours. Concentric zones and mycelial strands of Ganoderma lucidum was induced by irradiation of white fluorescent lamp and formation of mycelial sectors was influenced by nutrient source of media and irradiation of white fluorescent lamp. These characters were different among the isolates, but no relationship was observed between these characters and the fruiting body type of the fungus. Basidiospores were formed directly from the mycelium cultured on artificial media without producing fruit body.
표고 폐골목 톱밥 배지에서 몇가지 식용버섯균의 균사생장

We conducted this research to develop the medium for some edible mushroom cultivation using shiitake waste log which is abandoned after cultivation of shiitake mushroom because those bed logs can not be recycled. The isolates of P. ostreatus(POS-012), P. eryngii(PER-005), G. frondosa(GFR-001) and F. velutipes(FVE-001) were selected and examined for mycelial growth on sawdust media prepared from shiitake waste log. Mycelial growth of selected isolate were satisfactory on the sawdust extract media using acasia(Robinia pseudo-acacia), neutinamu(Zelkova serrata) and kangchamnamu(sangsuri, Quercus acutissima) which are no shiitake-inoculated. Although the mycelial growth of the isolate were poor on the sawdust media prepared from Quercus spp., sawdust of neutinamu, (Zelkova serrata), beotnamu, (Prunus serrulata), orinamu(Alnus japonica), eunsuweonsasinamu(Populus tomentiglandulosa) and chestnut(Castanea crenata) were excellent for mycelial growth. However, shiitake logs which are infected with harmful fungi such as Hypocrea spp. were useful as recycle materials for mushroom cultivation.
