한국거미연구회 회원들은 2017년 8월 3일부터 4일까지 경기도 안산시 소재 시화호 갈대습지공원을 김주필, 최한석, 예용택, 예성훈, 김태우, 김대희, 지승환, 지성현, 변진관, 이형민, 조주완, 박솔민, 이형진, 이태후, 이승후, 조윤규, 조원규, 이준이, 신정애, 이영경, 최라미, 이윤정, 이용호, 한주연, 윤혜원, 김형주 등 26명이 주야로 채집한 결과 18과 49속 71종을 발표 보고하는 바이다. From August 3 to 4 in 2017. Koran Arachnological Study members investigated the Spiders in the whole area Gyeonggi-do Ansan-si, and reported 18 Families, 49 Genus 71 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

The changes in arterial carbon dioxide tension (PaCO₂) during cardiopulmonary bypass reflect changes of temperature and gas flow through an oxygenator. The changes in PaCO₂ can be reduced through the frequent analysis of arterial blood gases and subsequent adjustment of total gas flow and CO₂ concentration in the gas flow or both. Utilizing a capnometer (CAPNOMAC AGM-103. Datex), we compared end-tidal carbon dioxide tension (PetCO₂) from the capnometer with temperature corrected PaCO₂ during cardiopulmonary bypass. One end of the sampling port of the capnometer was incorporated into the prime port of the arterial reservoir in a bubbling type oxygenator (William-Harvey). When arterial reservoir temperatures of the oxygenator were 30。C and 35。C, PetCO₂ from the capnometer was recorded and two arterial blood gas samplings were done at the same temperatures. The results were as follows: 1) The difference of P_(et)CO₂ and temperature corrected PaCO₂ was below 3 mmHg in all cases. 2) The relationship between P_(et)CO₂ temperature corrected PaCO₂ was significantly linear. The results show that continuous monitoring of P_(et)CO₂, using a capnometer is useful to control the changes in PaCO₂ during cardiopulmonary bypass.

To evaluate recent trend of pain management at our pain clinic, the pain-contol experiences of 159 patients performed at the Inje Medical College Paik Hospital from May 1987 through August 1988 were analyzed statistically according to age, sex, combined diseases, techniques performed and clinical effects. The results are as follows: 1) Most of the 159 patients, including 104 males and 55 females, were in the 4th, 5th, and 6th decades of life. 2) The most common complaint of the patients was low back pain in 94 cases (59,1%) 3) The lumbar epidural block was the most frequently performed pain block (62.5%) 4) The period of the treatment generally ranged from 3 weeks to 2 months. 5) The number of patients who obtained good and excellent analgesic effects following the block was 110 (69.2%) 6) The most common complications following the pain block were pruritus (23.9%), urination difficulty (20.1%), and nausea and vomiting (16.4%).

Autoregulation of cerebral blood flow is altered by volatile anesthetics and vasodilators such as nitroglycerin. Forty patients with cerebral aneurysm were anesthetized with halothane or isoflurane, and hypotension (mean arterial pressure: 55 mmHg) was induced with nitroglycerin. Blood gas analysis of radial artery and internal jugular vein during normotension and hypotension was performed. The results were as follows 1) There were no significant changes in juqular venous oxygen saturation, difference of arterial and venous oxygen content and extration rate of oxygen between normotension and hypotension. 2) There were no differences in SjvO₂, CaO₂, CjvO₂, and O₂ER between halothane and isoflurane. There is no possibility of cerebral ischemia in induced hypotension by nitroglycerin during halothane and isoflurane anesthesia.
