In the 21st century the area of art and culture has laid the groundwork to develop as a future growth industry based on scientific technology and the possibility of the integration of traditional culture and art has been confirmed. As a result relevant administrative organizations and museums are making efforts to advertise Korean cultural treasure widely through digital restoration virtual experience museum website construction and etc. On the other hand the content construction of archaeology is still limited to the existing manual method so the work takes longer time has lower effectiveness as well as makes it difficult to build data base. This paper introduces not only the existing archaeological data measuring methods but also more innovative and easier ways to digitalize those data and different methods to get archaeological data efficiently. In addition this paper aims at enhancing the value of the excavation report as material by suggesting designs which consider the aesthetics of edition and improving the excavation and preservation of cultural treasure through easier use and management of the data. 2000년대에 들어오면서 문화예술분야는 과학기술을 바탕으로 미래 성장산업으로 발전해 나가는 확고한 기틀을 마련하였고 전통문화와 예술과의 접목가능성을 확인하였다. 위의 결과로 관련행정기관 및 박물관 등에서는 우리문화 유산을 널리 알기기 위하여 디지털 복원이나 가상체험 박물관 홈페이지구축 등을 통한 많은 노력을 하고 있는 것에 반해 고고학 자체 내에서 필요한 콘텐츠의 구축은 앞서 언급한 것과는 반대로 이전의 수작업을 고수한 방식을 벗어나지 못하고 있어 작업의 시간과 효율성이 뒤떨어질 뿐 만 아니라 데이터 베이스구축이 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문은 기존의 행해지고 있는 고고학 자료의 실측방법 뿐 만 아니라 그 자료를 디지털화하기 위한 더욱 획기적이고 편리한 방법과 고고학 자료의 효율적인 데이터를 얻기 위한 여러 가지 방법들을 소개한다. 또한 발굴보고서 편집의 심미성을 고려한 디자인의 제안을 통해 자료로서의 가치를 높이고 데이터의 쉬운 활용과 관리를 통하여 이후 문화재의 발굴 보존에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 하는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다.
