        돌봄개념의 의미에 대한 연구

        This study intended to find out the meaning of caring concept considered Korean view point, which will be basic work for Korean Nursing Practice. For that the open-ended interviews were taken with forty persons from the age of 20 to 60 about what they think of the concept of caring. The contents of the interviews were analyzed by Ethnoscientific approach. As a result, the Korean Concepts of caring were classified into ten categories-Love, help, understanding, concern, warmth, support, fulfillment, comfort, recovery from illness and others. In Comparing with caring constructs with Leininger had made through the research of various cultures, the Korean Concepts of Caring appeared to be similar to them, but warmth, fulfillment were unique to Korea. It is important to catch the meaning of caring concepts in the social and cultural contexts to fix Korean nursing practive in the time when all human behaviors were culturally reconsidered. But higher qualitative research to the process and behavior of caring should be done from now on.

        신규간호사의 간호 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

        New graduates are graduated from formal nursing education, aquired RN license and no experience of clinical performance. So expected to have ability of analysis and synthesis of learned concepts and theories in nursing to clinical practice. New graduates have lack of the ability of clinical performance, even though they have the theoretical knowledge. The purpose of this study were to investigate the factors which influence new graduates' ability of clinical performance, to reduce periods of clinical adaptation and to predict new graduates' ability of clinical performance. Thus provide information which may help to improve environments of clinical nursing education and to select proper nurse so that provided high quality nursing service to patients. This study examined the relationship between new graduates' general characteristics and ability of clinical performance. Two instruments and demographic questionnair were used to collect the data. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, liner regression with SAS program. The results of the study were as follows; 1. There were significant differences between the academic career and the ability of clinical performance (t=3.40, p=0.001), the grade point at admission and the ability of clinical performance (t=3.05, p=0.004) and the experienced area of practice and the ability of clinical performance (t=2.40, p=0.018). 2. Ninety-nine percentage of the following factors influenced the ability of clinical performance significantly. The following orders were seen as follows; credits of practice (F=143.88, P=0.0001), bed in hospital of practice (F=33.38, P=0.0001), experienced area of practice (F= 11.13, P=0.0022). Conclusionly, new graduates' scholarship, and hospital environment of practice (bed in hospital of practice, experienced area of practice, ect) were critically influenced on new graduates' ability of clinical performance. Thus, new graduates' scholarship and environments of practice were important predictable factors on the ability of clinical performance.

        고혈압 환자의 복약순응행위 변화단계에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify factors associated with the stages of change in medication adherence in patients with hypertension. Methods: Participants were 323 patients with hypertension. Sociodemographic/ medication-related characteristics, stages of change, processes of change, self efficacy and decisional balance were self-administered. Results: Stages of change were significantly different according to gender, age, job and living arrangement. A multinominal logistic regression analysis has revealed that gender, age, living arrangement,self-liberation, and self-efficacy were significantly associated with the precontemplation stage. Age and selfliberation were significantly associated with the contemplation stage. Gender, age, living arrangement, and self-liberation were significantly associated with the preparation stage. Gender and helping relationship were significantly associated with the action stage. This model explained 52.0% of the stages of change in medication adherence. Conclusion: The tailored intervention strategies based on the stages of change may be needed for improving medication adherence in patients with hypertension.

        갈증 간호에 관한 문헌 고찰

        There is a symptom commonly experienced by ill patients. Definition of thirst is the uncomfortable of distressful feeling caused by a desire or need for water or other drink and characterized generally by a sensation of dryness in the mouth and throat. Types of thirst are tow, one is nonregulatory thirst that is dependent on hydration state and the other is nonregulatory thirst that is independent on hydration state. Regulatory thirst is differentiated intracellular thirst adn extracellular thirst. Intracellular thirst is caused by sodium-osmotic mechanism and exrracellular thirst is caused by volume-controlling mechanism. As thirst varies in type, origin and physiological process, individuals vary in their sensation of and response to thirst. Factors influencing thirst and drinking behavior include age, disease process, medication, level of alertness and social and personal habits. Nurse must distinguish between regulatory and nonregulatory thirst to determine effective strategies. In this study, subjective, objective guideline to assess the thirt are povided. Subjective guideline to assess the thirt is visual analogue scale and objective guidelines to assess the thirt are turgor of skin, tachycardia, hypoten-sion state of mucosa and tongue, volume of urine, temperature, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, lethargy and vein filling. NURSING STRATEGY FOR THIRST PATIENTS MUST BE INDIVIDUALIZED. Nurse must consider the type of physiological thirst the patient is experience and the psychosocial factors that influence drinking behavior. Nursing care includes assessing patients who because of age, disease condition, treat-ment regimen, are at risk. for thirst and intervening in ways the provided comfort and preventing dehydration. In this literature review, I recommended the future research to provide the qualitative practice of thirst patients. These are experience of thirst patient from different causes, nursing interventions are most effective to reduce thirst symptoms, effect of fluid restriction in thirt patients

      • 患者敎育애 있어서 看護師 役割에 대한 患者와 看護師의 知覺에 관한 硏究 : 糖尿病 患者敎育을 中心으로 Specifically in Diabetic Patient Education

        본 연구는 당뇨환자 교육에 있어 간호사의 역할에 대한 간호사와 환자의 지각에 대한 문제점을 서술하기 위해 81명의 환자와 간호사를 dyad로 선정하여 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 환자교육에 있어 간호사의 역할에 대한 간호사와 환자지각에는 불일치가 존재함을 확인하였다. 대부분의 간호사가 자신들을 현재와 미래의 교육자로 인식하고 있는 반면, 환자는 간호사를 일반적 교육기능의 수행자로만 인식하고있었으며 당뇨병과 관련된 특수정보는 의사로부터 제공받기를 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 간호사는 환자교육에 대한 환자의 욕구가 자신들과 유사하리라는 부정확한 태도를 지니고 있다. 이러한 결과를 통해서 볼 때 교육에 대한 환자의 요구를 정확히 파악하기 위해서는 환자교육에 대한 간호사 역할의 명확한 정의를 내려야할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to describe the amount of congruence in the perceptions of 81 matched nurse-patient dyads concerning the nurse's role in patient education. The perceptions of nurses and patients from two hospital settings were measured with two complementary sets of questions, developed for this study. The results indicated that incongruencies existed between nurses' and patients' perceptions of the nurse's role in patient education. Patients identified with nurses for a general teaching function. On the other hands, for the specific information related to their condition, patients most frequently chose a physician. But nurses most frequently chose a nurse as the current and most desired patient teacher. For the patient education, nurses incorrectly assumed that the desires of their patients were similar to their own. The results suggested that nurses needed to develop a clear definition of their role in patient education to validate patients.

        힘을 북돋아 줌(Empowerment) 의 개념분석에 관한 연구

        In this paper, an objective concept analysis was undertaken to examine the attributes, charateristics and uses of the concept of empowerment. A review of the literature and selected empirical referents indicated that empowerment is a complex and multidimensional concept. Within a nursing context, empowerment can be conceptualized as a composite of (a) attributes that relate to the cleint, (b) attributes that relate to the nurse, and (c) attributes that belong to both the client and the nurse. In a broad sense, empowerment is a process of helping people to assert control over the factors which affect their lives. This process encompasses both the individual responsibility in health care and the broader institutional, organizational or societal responsibilities in enabling people to assume responsibility for their own health. Antecedents to and consequences of empowerment, from a nursing perspetive, are presented. To adopt truly an empowerment model in nursing, a radical paradigm shift is needed. The final conclusion is that this concept has great utility for nursing practice, education, adminia stration and research.

        저체중아의 성장 발달에 관한 연구

        Currently changing trends of child health care is demand total health assessment of child including growth and development. This study concentrates on the growth & developmental status of low birth weight infant for help their growth & development. Thus it can be provide a direction for scientific health education and counseling materials by investigating factor of growth & development. The subjects for this study were made up of 40 low birth weight infant who attended the well baby clinic of E university Hospital. The study method used was a questionnaire & anthropometric assessment and DDST for normative data of development. The period for data collection was from July 1st to August 31th, 1982. Analysis of the data was done using percentages, $\chi$$^2$-test Stepwise Multiple Regression. The results of study were as follows. 1. The mean weight of birth was 2,068gm and mean of gestational period was 35.65 weeks. 2. The age at which weight ; 32.5%, head circumference : 67,5% chest circumference : 55.0%, height : 50. 0% was normal range of physical growth. 3. The reverse age at which social development ; 87.5%, fine motor & adaptive development ; 70.0%, gross motor development ; 72.5% of children Passed by DDST to determine of normal range of development. 4. In the among variables, it was found that the infant who were the higher emotional & verbal response of mother and stimulus environment was the more normal range of weight & development than who was not. 5. The stepwise Multiple Regression between developmental status and predictors-birth order, weight at birth, sex, antenatal care, gestational period-are accounts for 34.1%.
