사출성형에서 Al Flake orientation의 표면 결함 발생에 대한 연구

This study relates to the generation of surface defects due to Al Flake orientation in the injection molding. Plastic Parts made of ABS Resin with Al Flake which has the advantage of reducing the processing steps shorten and advanced design and cost reduced. However, there is a problem of surface defects due to flow line occurs, it is very limited in use. One of the surface defects is flowline, it is typically investigated of the back of the obstacle after the weld line. Flowline is observed in the difference of the optical reflectance due to flake orientation. Because Al Flake are oriented in the flow direction due to the high shear rate at skin layer, it is aligned in the vertical direction of the core layer, flow line is generated in the branched flow fronts meet part, it appears as a defect of the surface. Flowline can be predicted using the injection molding program, the divided flow path after obstacle has observed at the same position in the metallic weld.

Recently, one of the method to get rid of post-processing is used to roughen the surface by processing the etched pattern on the mold surface in the injection molded parts production. The method represent luxurious design by etched pattern on the surface without post processing. There is also the effect of cost reduction. However, when using ABS of the black color, a problem showing the surface color difference or dirt occurs in some cases. In this study, when using ABS of the black color, the cause of the color difference defects was analyzed. As a result, the cause of color difference occurs according to filling height of etched pattern. Factors are mold temperature, injection pressure, difference of the product thickness and so on. In this paper, It was analyzed in terms of the injection pressure.
