The purpose of this study is to investigate the carbonation resistance of concrete using crushed clay bricks as coarse aggregate. In the experiment, crushed clay bricks is substitute for natural aggregate the rate of 0, 15, 30, 50% each. In order to find the effect of pozzolanic reactions as a subject of investigtion, the replacement rate of crushed clay bricks and compressive strength and carbonation depth after admixture have been investigated and analyzed by mixing 20% of blast-furnace slag and 10% of silica fume. As a result, it has been found that compressive strength in terms of physical performance decreases as the replacement rate of crushed clay bricks increases. However, at the case of replacement of mineral admixture and 30% of crushed clay bricks attained above compressive strength of OPC. As the replacement rate of crushed clay bricks increases, carbonation depth increases, and, for mineral admixture, the carbonation depth relatively increases with mixing than without.
동제련 슬래그를 혼화재료로 사용한 모르터의 알칼리-골재 반응 억제에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of different levels of cement replacement(0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25%) by copper slag as admixture on the expansion of mortar bars containing reactive aggregates. The experimental program included expansion measurement of the mortar bar specimens, also the determination of the morphology and composition of the alkali-silica reaction products by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive x-ray(EDX), and x-ray fluorescence spectrometer(XRF). The results indicate that more than 15% percent replacement of portland cement by copper slag stop deleterious expansion due to the alkali-silica reaction. Also it was found that the expansion rate increased with the increase of the CaO/SiO2 and CaO/(Na2O)e ratio from the comparison of the oxide compositions with the different levels of replacement by copper slag.

본 논문은 다른온도로 소성한 왕겨를 콘크리트 흔화재로 사용한 콘크리트의 강도특성을 알아보기 위한 것으로 물결합재비를 35% 로 고정하고 왕겨의 혼입률을 각기 달리하여 소성온도에 따른 압축강도 특성과 왕겨의 혼입률에 따른 강도특성을 평가하였다. 실험결과 왕겨가 혼화재로서 성능을 발휘하는 최저 온도가 600℃인 것으로 나타났으며, 700℃로 소성한 경우 가장 우수한 강도 값을 나타내었다. 또한 혼입률별 압축강도 특성에서는 혼입률 10% 에서 가장 우수한 강도발현을 나타내었다.
