세당환(世糖丸)이 Streptozotocin으로 유발된 흰쥐의 실험적 당뇨에 미치는 영향

Objectives : We performed this study in order to investigate the effects of Sedang-hwan(世糖丸) on the diabetes mellitus. Methods : We injected a vein with 65mg/kg of streptozotocin(STZ) on the rats. And then administered Sedang-hwan; 18.7mg/kg/day to sample groups and observed the weight and glucose level, insulin, C-peptide, triglyceride, albumin, T-protein, BUN(Blood Urea Nitrogen) and creatinine in blood. Results : 1. The sample groups showed a high suppressive effect of weight loss(P=0.002). 2. The sample groups' glucose level showed a effective in lowering level(P=0.001). 3. The sample groups showed a higher insulin level than control groups. 4. The sample groups showed a higher C-peptide level than control groups(P=0.001). 5. The sample groups' triglyceride level showed a effective in lowering level. 6. The sample groups showed a higher HDL-cholesterol level than control groups(P<0.001). 7. The sample groups showed a higher T-protein level than control groups(P=0.04). 8. The sample groups showed a higher albumin level than control groups(P<0.001). 9. The sample groups' creatinine level showed a effective in lowering level(P=0.04). 10. The sample groups' BUN level showed a effective in lowering level(P=0.03). Conclusions : Conclusively, Sedang-hwan was recognized to have decrease effect of serum glucose, triglyceride, creatinine, BUN of the diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin. It was suggested that Sedang-hwan can be used for effective diabetes mellitus medical treatment. It is also required to study further about detailed principles of blood-sugar dropping effect by Sedang-hwan, and recovery by diabetes mellitus.

Prediction method for heat transfer coefficients in a horizontal smooth tube with forced convection condensation is proposed. In this paper, the analogy between momentum and heat transfer was applied to an annular flow regime and the logarithmic velocity distribution is applied to describe the velocity profile within the liquid film. Prediction results are compared with those of experimental ones. The test refrigerants are R113, R22, R134a, R407C(R33/R125/R134a, 23/25/52 wt%), R410A(R32/R125, 50/50 wt%) and R134a+R123(R134a/R123, 85.5/14.5 wt%) which are used under operating conditions in a condenser of air-conditioner. The proposed prediction method shows good agreement with experimental data within$\pm 30%$ for pure refrigerants. For the mixture refrigerants including the ternary mixture refrigerant R407C, condensation heat transfer from this study are higher than those from experiments. By correcting the constant in two-phase frictional multiplier, the predicated heat transfer coefficients become similar to the experimental results.
우리나라 산업단지의 PCDD/Fs 오염특성 및 주요 배출원과의 상관성 검토

This study wished to analyze contamination level of PCDD/Fs in the ambient air and presume main source of U-POPs pollution through comparison with homogeneous of surrounding U-POPs pollution sources in Seoul and Sihwa, Ulsan, Gumi, Pohang industrial complexes in Korea. Sampling were done during 2008~2009. Annual average concentrations of PCDD/Fs in sampling sites were 0.009~0.205 pg I-TEQ/ß(C). Concentration of PCDD/Fs of the ambient air in industrial complex appeared higher than Seoul area. But it was not level worth worrying comparison with overseas study finding. Congener patterns of PCDD/Fs in the ambient air were similar with congener pattern of main pollution source of U-POPs in each region. Seoul was similar with congener pattern of municipal solid waste incineration and Sihwa industrial complex was similar with copper and aluminum production by rolling and pressing. Also Ulsan and Gumi industrial complex were similar with industrial waste incineration, Pohang was similar with congener pattern of iron ore sintering. So it is possible to presume pollution source of PCDD/Fs in the ambient air using congener pattern.

The safety of staff, customers and of general Public in general viewed as one of the most important requirements in the urban transit. The maintenance computerization system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance computerization system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) estimation for maintenance computerization system are utilized in a variety of computerization system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. Provision of a reliable maintenance system include RAMS of the vehicles plays a very important role in achieving a safe system.
