Mechanism design and dynamic analysis of a multi-functional endoscopic clipping device

Minimal invasive surgery using endoscopic clipping devices is widely used in the treatment of hemorrhages and perforations in the gastro-intestinal tract. Although endoscopic clipping devices have been used for over 30 years and have undergone continuous development, there is still a need to improve their functions. In response to this, new mechanisms for multi-functional endoscopic clipping devices have been developed in this study. Dynamic simulation is performed to analyze the mechanical behavior of the developed clipping device. Optimization of the clip spring location to maximize clipping forces is also achieved by finite element analysis.

본 연구는 2019년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 기반으로 고지방 식이와 운동이 혈중지질 농도에 미치는 영향을 성별, 연령별로 분류하여조사하였다. 이를 위해 19세 이상 성인 5,933명의 데이터를 추출하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 총콜레스테롤 수치는 연령만 관련있는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, HDL 수치는 성별, 연령, 콜레스테롤 섭취량, 고강도 및 중강도 운동과 관련이 있었다. 같은 조건에서남성은 여성보다 HDL 수치가 9.216(mg/dl) 낮았고 콜레스테롤 섭취량과 운동량이 많을수록 증가하였다. 셋째, LDL 수치는 어떠한 요인과도 관련이 없었다. 넷째, 중성지방 수치는 성, 연령 및 중강도 운동이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 같은 조건에서 남성은여성보다 중성지방 수치가 53.98(mg/dl) 높았다. 따라서 건강한 성인의 경우, 이상지질혈증을 예방하기 위해서는 영양 섭취 기준을 준수하고 규칙적인 운동에 참여하는 것이 바람직하다. The study aimed to investigate the influence of high-fat diet and exercise levels, as well as gender and age, on serum lipid concentrations using the raw data from the 2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Data from 5,933 adults aged 19 and older without dyslipidemia were extracted and analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn: Firstly, total cholesterol levels were found to be influenced only by age. Secondly, HDL levels were influenced by gender, age, cholesterol intake, and high- and moderate-intensity exercise. Men had 9.216 (mg/dl) lower HDL levels than women under the same conditions. Thirdly, LDL levels were found to be unrelated to any factors. Fourthly, triglyceride levels were influenced by gender, age, and moderate-intensity exercise. Men had 53.98 (mg/dl) higher triglyceride levels than women under the same conditions. Therefore, for healthy adults, prevention of dyslipidemia may be best achieved by consuming a variety of foods in moderate amounts and engaging in regular exercise.

Ten phenolic compounds were isolated from the twigs of Stewartia pseudocamellia. The isolated compounds were identified as 5,7,3',5'-tetrahydroxyflavanone (1), 3,5,7,3',5'-pentahydroxyflavanone (2), quercetin (3), (+)-aromadendrin (4), (+)-ampelopsin (5), myricetin (6), (+)-catechin (7), (-)-epicatechin (8), kaempferol (9), and fraxin (10) by spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 9 were isolated from this plant for the first time. The antioxidant activities of compounds 1-10 were evaluated by the DPPH and/or ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) assay. Compounds 3, 5-9 showed significant antioxidative effects on DPPH assay. Among the active compounds, 6 exhibited higher activity compared to trolox on ORAC assay.

A lignan and four flavonoid derivatives were isolated from the aerial parts of Panicum dichotomiflorum Michaux (Gramineae) through repeated column chromatography. Their chemical structures were identified as (-)-pinoresinol (1), tricin (2), luteolin (3), luteolin-4´-O-β-D-glucopyranosde (4) and luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranosde (5), respectively, by spectroscopic analysis. These compounds were isolated for the first time from this plant.
악력과 허리둘레, BMI가 주요 만성질환에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a model that predic ttshe prevalence of chronic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke, myocardial infarction, angina, arthritis, and osteoporosis, using height, weight, waist circumference, and grip strength, whcih can be easily measured in the field wit h counseling. Method: In the 2019 National Health and Nutrition Survey raw data w aasnalyzed using multistage strat-i fied cluster sampling. Doctors’ confirmation of chronic disease was set as the dependent variable, with independent variables including gender, age, height, weight, grip strength, and waist circumference. Results: High blood pressure increased with age and waist circumference. In stroke, as the average grip strength increased, the incidence rate decreased. Additionally, as age increased and maximum grip strength improved, the incidence rate also increased. For myocardial inafrction, the rate was 2.57 times higher in men than in women in terms of gender factors, and for arthritis, it was higher in women than in men, with age and lower maximum grip strength. For osteoporosis, women had a higher incidence rate than men, and the higher the average grip strength, the lower the incidence rate. Diabetes was found to have a higher incidence rate as the waist circumference increased and was not related to any other factors. Conclusion: Therefore, simple and reliable measurement in the field is highly likely to be used as a major tool to predict chronic diseases.
