2007년 개정 과학교과서의 7학년 지구과학 탐구활동 분석

The purpose of this study is to be basic materials for choosing textbooks and reconstructing contents appropriate for the level of students and state of schools. In order to collect the materials the part of earth science of inquiry activities represented in 7th grade textbooks which were changed by the revised curriculum in 2007 was analyzed into contents processes and situations. First of all the result of comparative analysis on the number of times and subjects of inquiry contents in 9kinds of textbooks showed that there were some meaningful differences in the chosen textbooks. The number of times and subjects in inquiry activities shows that representing 192 in the 7th grade textbooks the average one of them is 21.3. Every textbook contains all the necessary inquiry subjects but B,C and D textbook represents contents that are not supposed to be covered in curriculum gruide. Second the result of comparative analysis on inquiry processes shows that in 7th grade textbooks the elements of observation and measurement account for 9.9(46.5%) on the average and the ones of interpretation and generalization do 7.8(36.6%) which take up more than 80%. This is because the area of geology in 7th grade Earth Science mostly covers to observe minerals or rocks and to generalize the facts through a represented earthquake and volcanic zone. Third the result of comparative analysis on inquiry situations shows that in 7th grade textbooks the element of pure science and the one of natural environment account for 15.2(71.4%) and 3.9(18.3%) respectively which take up about 90%. It can be explained that there are some limits to apply geology covered in 7th grade textbooks to daily life or industry.

Stability and accuracy for the trapezoidal rule of the Newmark time integration method are analyzed when variable time step sizes are adopted. A new analytic approach to stability and accuracy analysis is also proposed for time integration methods with variable time step sizes. The trapezoidal rule with variable time step sizes has the "actual" unconditional stability which is the same as that of the method with constant time step sizes. However, the method with variable time step sizes is first-order accurate while the method with constant time step sizes is second-order accurate. accurate.

A new formulation for the dynamic analysis of constrained multibody systems is presented in this paper. The formulation employs Kane's method along with the null space method. Kane's method reduces the dimension of equations of motion by using partial velocity matrix introduced in this study : it can improve the efficiency of the formulation. Three numerical examples are given to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the formulation.

A method for the inverse dynamic analysis of constrained multibody systems considering friction forces acting on kinematic joints is presented in this paper. The stiction and the sliding which represent zero and non-zero relative motions are considered during the inverse dynamic analysis. Actuating forces to control the position or the orientation of constrained multibody systems are usually calculated in the inverse dynamic analysis. An iterative procedure need to be employed to calculate the actuating forces when the friction is considered. Furthermore, the actuating forces are not uniquely determined during the stiction. These difficulties are resolved by the method presented in this paper.

The Lock-Up clutch of a torque converter directly transmits the engine power to the automatic transmission in order to achieve a more fuel economy. Friction facing, a core part lock-up clutch system, is generated high heat and facing-pressure because of the relative RPM of friction plate and engine when lock-up clutch is operated. To reduce more fuel consumption, the slip is generated between a friction facing and a front cover for torque converter lock up clutch. This paper discussed facing-pressure distribution of torque converter using the dynamic motion. To analysis the dynamic motion of friction facing, numerical simulation has been carried out using Lock-up Clutch Analysis Toolkit made by OPEN API module in DAFUL. This paper is provided torque converter engineer with useful information for lock-up clutch design.
