This study was executed by means of "user participatory design method", as a part of the public facility remodelling project supervised by the Seoul Municipality. This study aimed to complement and improve the methodology through reviewing the whole process of participatory design implementation and examining closely whether the activities, design methods and tools that have been applied at each stage were helpful to reflect the users' demands successfully. Given all of those, it implies; first, it is very meaningful that public facility remodelling project by "user participatory design" leads the ordinary users to have direct opportunity to participate in the public business and to change their perception of the restroom environment in school. Second, it is necessary to integrate the roles of the facilitator and the architect from the beginning stage of the process, which makes it feasible to reflect the users' needs to the final stage. Third, it is required to modify the design tools that enable non-professional participants to understand their tasks and to perform them effectively at the stage of decision making.
형태 실험을 기반으로 한 공간계획 기초교육에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to develop a process for creative space planning based on the theory of space planning education method and form experiment by typical and free form, And to expand the sense of space. The purpose of this study is to overcome limitations of digital - based form study and to diversify basic design education for spatial planning. And applied them to the class. The following conclusions were obtained. First, space planning education is based on formative practice that deals with form, drawing process expressing it, and goal of increasing learner "s sensitivity. Experiments dealing with various forms are emerging by the new trend of modern architecture. Second, the possibility of space planning education method was confirmed by planning different types of spaces for each learner even if no design conditions were presented through formal and irregular - based space planning lessons. Third, Satisfaction with learner "s satisfaction with spatial planning showed personality such as patience and challenging spirit, creativity, various perspectives, three - dimensional thinking, spatial perception, and expressive power. As such, the study of thought process and experiment of form as basic design education should be continuously discussed and developed.

STEAM(science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) Education is major talking point for educational field in Korea. And it is widely applying to the new curriculum for convergence thinking following creative educational policy. For this reason, the convergence theme need to be applied and developed for environmental design fields. So, previous study was developing convergence hand-on educational program which is incorporate robot science into environmental design for children. The educational program was based on PBL(Problem based learning) program for process of the convergence design. Therefore the aim of this study is analyzing the environmental design Ideas through the hand-on educational program which is incorporate robot science into environmental design. And then, for more details about what the problem and main idea come from and what the characteristics and constitution of the environmental design used for solving the problem. Through the results, we could expect for reflecting the future environmental design. Also, we could find out the ideas of the kinetic architecture for developing the global construction market.
