Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of consumer's subjective health literacy on health information websites acceptance and empowerment. Methods: Data were collected from people who had used health information website. Theoretical model was developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model), and structural equation modeling(SEM) using Lisrel 8.5 was applied to test the relationship of hypotheses. Results: The final trimmed model resulted in a proper solution that exhibited adequate fit. This study supported that consumer's subjective health literacy was found to have a significant effect on empowerment by using health information websites. Conclusion: This study showed the use of health information website is worthy of strengthening of consumer's empowerment, which can be expected to contribute to patient's active participation in health management. A research survey was conducted on 112 nursing educational institutes with three year associate and four year baccalaureate programs and 36 institutes with master programs to determine the status of computer and informatics education in Korea. Also two nursing informaitcs programs in the US were explored. Seventy-seven(68.8%) of the I 12 schools with associate and baccalaureate programs responded and 20(55.6%) of 36 schools with master program responded. Out of 77 institutions only 16 schools indicated that Nursing Informatics was offered as a separate course. It was taught mostly to the first year or the second year students and number of credits ranged from 1 to 3 while 2 credit being the most popular one. Further analysis of the syllabus indicated that the contents covered by different schools varied from school to school. They were computer basics, Internet and communication, application program, the concept and the elements of the nursing informatics, utilization of nursing informatics in nursing practice, education, research, and administration, and health information system. Sixty schools out of 77 addressed computer related subjects in their curriculum. Computer related subjects were taught mostly to the first year students as a 2 credits class. Contents covered in computer related subjects were computer basics, Internet and communication, and application program. Strategies for the implementation of nursing informatics in nursing education and exemplary programs are presented based on the findings.

본고에서는 일반적인 온톨로지의 정의, 온톨로지 활용의 이점, 온톨로지의 구성요소 및 종류 등을 살펴본 후 보건의료분야 온톨로지의 특징과 대표적인 사례를 소개하고 있다. 다음으로 Noy와 McGuinness가 제안한 온톨로지 개발방법 101을 단계별로 설명하면서 구체적인 사례로 소셜데이터에서 우울 신호를 감지하고 우울에 대한 감성분석을 목적으로 개발한 청소년 우울 온톨로지 개발과정을 단계별로 제시하고 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this article is twofold: 1) introducing logistic regression (LR), a multivariable method for modeling the relationship between multiple independent variables and a categorical dependent variable, and 2) examining use and reporting of LR in the nursing literature. Methods: Text books on LR and research articles employing LR as main statistical analysis were reviewed. Twenty-three articles published between 2010 and 2011 in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing were analyzed for proper use and reporting of LR models. Results: Logistic regression from basic concepts such as odds, odds ratio, logit transformation and logistic curve, assumption, fitting, reporting and interpreting to cautions were presented. Substantial shortcomings were found in both use of LR and reporting of results. For many studies, sample size was not sufficiently large to call into question the accuracy of the regression model. Additionally, only one study reported validation analysis. Conclusion: Nursing researchers need to pay greater attention to guidelines concerning the use and reporting of LR models.
