인문,사회과학편 : 운동 탈진이 선수의 인지정보처리에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 운동탈진이 체육고등학교 학생선수들의 인지정보처리 변화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 P300의 진폭과 잠재기를 통해 알아보고, 운동탈진에 대한 뇌신경생리학적인 기초정보를 선수와 지도자에게 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구에 참여한 피험자는 D시에 있는 체육고등학교 160명을 대상으로 운동 탈진 검사 후 중앙치 66점을 기준으로 상위20%와 하위 20%의 피험자를 선별하여 운동탈진이 높은 집단(n=12)과 운동탈진이 낮은 집단(n=12)로 선정하였다. 피험자는 남자 20명, 여자 4명이며 평균 연령은 18.1세(SD=.45)였으며, 대부분 육상관련(단거리, 중장거리, 높이뛰기 등)선수들로 평균 선수경력은 5.21년(SD=.78)이였다. 본 연구의 실험설계는 행동수행 분석에서 각 집단에 대한 독립변인t검정과 ERP 분석에서는 2(집단)×3(영역)에 대한 이원분산분석을 실시하였으며, 종속변수는 오드볼 과제 시 반응시간과 정확률 및 P300의 진폭과 잠재기이다. 운동수행의 정확률에 대한 분석한 결과, 탈진집단과 통제집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 운동수행의 반응시간에 대해 분석한 결과, 탈진집단이 통제집단보다 반응시간이 유의하게 느린 것으로 나타났다. ERP 분석에서 P300의 진폭을 분석한 결과, 탈진집단과 통제집단 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 P300의 잠재기에 대해 분석한 결과, 탈진집단이 통제집단보다 유의하게 길게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 종합해 보면 탈진집단과 통제집단 간에는 주의력에서 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 과제수행에 있어 정보가 느리게 처리되어 탈진집단이 통제집단보다 의사결정과정이 느린 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated the effects of burnout on cognitive information processing in adolescent athletes. One-hundred sixty physical education high school students completed the Burnout Scale. Twenty-four participants were then assigned to one of two experimental conditions: Higher Burnout group (n=12) and Lower Burnout group (n=12). Their ages ranged from 17 to 19, with a mean age of 18.1 years. Subjects were divided into two groups. Data was analyzed using a independent t-test and two-way ANOVA (2 groups × 3 region). Dependent variables were reaction time, response accuracy, amplitude, and latency. The P300 data obtained from the two experimental groups were compared. The electroencephalographic data collected from Fz, Cz, and Pz were used to assess the latency and amplitude of P300 during an oddball task. The results of this study indicated that the Higher burnout group yielded shorter reaction time and longer P300 latency than the Lower burnout group. The results of this study suggest that the experience of burnout is associated with the decline of cognitive information processing in adolescent athletes.
