        낙엽송 간벌목(間伐木)을 원료로 한 Oriented Strand Board (OSB) 의 목표밀도(Strand Size)와 가 OSB 의 재질에 미치는 영향

        This study was to manufacture thinned wood of Larix leptolepis Cordon into Oriented strand Board(OSB) with Urea-Formaldehyde Resin. The OSB was made of four kinds of strand in slenderness ratio 150 : thickness 0.3±0.05㎜, 0.4±0.05㎜, 0.5:0±0.05㎜ and 0.6±0.05㎜, respectively length 45㎜, 60㎜, 75㎜ and 90㎜. Target densities were .65gr/㎤, 0.75gr/㎤ and 0.85gr/㎤. The stepwise 9 minutes-multi-pressing schedule in the maximum pressure 40kgf/㎠, the minimum pressure 10kgf/㎠ was applied for 400㎜×39p㎜×12㎜ board at the temperature of 150℃ in a hot press. In MOR. The OSB of thin strand thickness 0.3±0.05㎜(length 45㎜) and density 0.85gr/㎤ was the highest. The strand thickness had more effect on MOR than the strand length. Ir. strand thickness 0.4±0.05㎜(length 60㎜) and density 0.85gr/㎤ was the highest MOE. The strand thickness and length had adverse effects on MOE each other. At internal bonding. The OSB of strand thickness 0.3±0.05㎜(length 45㎜) and board density 0.75gr/㎤ showed the highest value. OSB had higher IB value with thinner strand thickness. The thinner strand thickness showed the lower thickness swelling in turn 0.3±0.05㎜(length 45 ㎜), 0.4±0.05㎜(length 60㎜), 0.5±0.05㎜(length 75㎜), 0.6±0.05㎜(length 90㎜). Target densities 0.75gr/㎤, 0.65gr/㎤, 0.85gr/㎤ showed in turn lower value. Finally, The OSB made of thinned wood of Larix leptolepis Gordon showed good results in laboratory experiment.

        Com - Ply Board 와 Oriented Strand Board (OSB) 의 재질 비교에 관한 연구

        This study was carried nut to compare the properties of Com-Ply Boards with those of OSBs. These two kinds of boards were made of same flakes. Com-Ply Boards were covered with three different thickness veneers, such as 4㎜, 3㎜, and 2.5㎜. All manufactured Com-Ply Boards and OSBs were 12㎜ thick. In MOR, all Com-Ply Boards were higher than OSB, and especially 3㎜-veneer and 2.5㎜-veneer Com-Ply Board were highest, But OSB showed 420㎏/㎠. 3㎜-veneer Com-Ply Board showed the highest internal bonding 7.0㎏/㎠ and then 2.5㎜-veneer showed 6.8㎏/㎠, and OSB showed 6.6㎏/㎠. Screw holding strength showed the high value 23.9㎏/em2, 25.5㎏/㎠, and 29.3㎏/㎠ respectively at 3㎜-veneer, 2.5㎜-veneer Com-Ply Board and OSB. Thickness swelling of Com-Ply Boards was lower than that of OSB, but Water absorption of OSB was lower. Finally it was very encouraging that all properties of OSB without veneer, whose cost is higher than flake and whose properties is better, were riot worse than those of Com-Ply Board wits veneer. It seems That more researches on OSB will be recquired.

        수도권매립지 주변 식재지의 식재기반 평가

        수도권매립지 주변 식재예정지와 식재지의 식재기반평가 토양항목 특성을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 토양물리성 중 용적밀도가 1.11~1.59 g・cm-3범위로 우리나라 경기도 지역 산림토양의B층 평균1.05g・cm-3보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 식재기반 조성 시 중장비 등의 사용으로 인한 답압 등에 의해 기인한 것으로 판단되며, 수목의 근계발달을 위해서는 개량방안이 강구되어야 할 것이 다. 토양화학성 중 유기물 함량은 조경수목의 식재를 위한 적정범위인 30 g・kg-1의 약 1/5~1/10정도 매우 낮게 조사되었다. 또한 양이온치환용량의 경우에도 1~3 cmol・kg-1범위로 조경수목의 식재를 위한 최소한의 함량인 6 cmol・kg-1에 비해 매우 낮은 수준으로 나타나 이에 대한 개량이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. The present study was conducted to analyze the soil environment of planted areas around Sudokwon Landfill Site, and drew conclusions as follows. Among the physical properties of soil, bulk density ranged between 1.11~1.59 g・cm-3, which was higher than the average bulk density (1.05 g・cm-3) of the B layer of forest soil in Gyeonggido, Korea. This is probably because of treading by heavy equipment used to prepare the ground for planting, and measures should be taken to improve bulk density for the growth of the root system of trees. Among the chemical properties of soils, the organic matter content was only 1/5~1/10 of 30 g・kg-1, the adequate level for landscape planting. In addition, cation exchange capacity (CEC) ranged between 1~3 cmol・kg-1, which was much lower than 6 cmol・kg-1, the least capacity for landscape planting. Therefore, these problems need to be solved.

      • 落葉松 小徑木의 活用方案에 關한 硏究 : Utilization as Raw Material of Laminated Veneer Lumber(LVL) 單板積層材의 原料木으로의 利用에 關하여

        본 硏究에서는 落葉松을 製造한 후 熱水軟化處理 및 非處理한 6㎜ 두께의 落葉松單板을 메란티베니아積層板材와 混合하여 構成方法 16가지로 單板積層材를 製造하고 그에 대한 휨 强度的 性質을 조사하여 그 破壞係數, 彈性係數, 比例限界가지의 일量 및 最高荷重까지의 일 量을 구하여 相互比較하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 즉, 落葉松單板과 메란티베니아 積層板材로 混合構成한 單板積層材가 落葉松單板만으로 構成한 單板積層材에 비해 破壞係數의 경우 최고 160%, 彈性係數는 최고 200%의 향상된 값을 보였으며, 도한 比例限界까지의 일 量은 최고 200% 정도의 향상된 값을 나타내었다. 특히 메란티베니아 積層板材가 下部에 構成된 積層材가 인장라미네이션 효과를 보여 우수한 휨 强度的 性質을 나타냈으나 中央에 構成한 경우에는 中央部位에서 발생하는 最大剪斷應力에 脆弱한 면을 보여 强度的 性質이 떨어지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 도한 熱水軟化處理 單板積層材는 非處理單板積層材에 비해 强度積 性質이 낮게 나타났는데, 이는 熱水處理에 의한 강도적 성질의 低下로 판단된다. Half of the 6㎜ thick veneers of Larch(Larix leptolepis Gordon) in this study were treated with hot water of 60℃ for 20 minutes and the other half were not treated. All of these treated and non-treated veneers were made use of into laminated veneer lumbers(LVLs) complexed with meranti veneer-laminated woods in 16manners. The manufactured laminated veneer lumbers(LVLs) were tested in bending, which included modulus of rupture(MOR), modulus of elasticity(MOE), work to proportional limit, and work to maximum load. The results were as follows; 1. The laminated veneer lumbers(LVLs) composed of the veneers of Larch and meranti-veneer-laminated woods were higher by maximum 160% in modulus of rupture than the LVL of only veneers of Larch, higher by maximum 200% in modulus of elasticity, and higher by maximum 200% in work to proportional limit. 2. The LVLs formed with meranti veneer-laminated wood in lower layer showed the tension lamination effect, and so better bending strength. 3. But the LVLs formed with meranti veneer-laminated wood in middle layer showed lower bending strength because the meranti veneer-laminated woods are weak in maximum shear stress in the mid depth of the LVL. 4. The LVLs composed of hot(60℃) water-treated veneers of Larch showed lower strength in bending than those compose of non-treated veneers.

        목재파아티클과 철선복합보오드의 물리적 및 기술적 성질에 관한 연구

        In tendaney of manufacturing beam with laminating particleboard, it was thought that if the properties, especially mechanical properties, of particleboard be reinforced. the mechanical properties of particleboard-laminated beam would be also improved. So in this study the particleboard was reinforced with composing of wood particle and steel wire. This study was carried out to obtain the basic physical and mechanical properties of hoard composed of wood particle and steel wire, especially tensile strength and compressive strength which are the important factors of the laanina of beam, in order to estimate whether the board composed of wood particle and steel wire could be to improve the properties of the particleboard-laminated beam. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. The hoard composed of wood particle arid steel wire in accordance with lower board density took better thickness swelling. 2. The board with lower board density was unproved in higher value of tensile strength with more steel wires in prescribed cross section area of the board, for example, the board cf density 0.5 showing 140% improved value. 3. In compressive strength, the board with lower board density was also improved in higher value with more steel wires in prescribed cross section area.
