석탄가스화 복합발전(IGCC)에서 석탄 가스화 기술이 전 공정의 성능에 큰 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소이다. 연료 및 산화제의 공급방식, 가스화기의 기본 구조, 벽면의 구성 방식, 용융 슬랙 및 생산되는 합성가스 배출 방식 등에 따라 가스화의 성능이 영향을 받는다. IGCC plant의 정확한 성능 해석을 위해서는 석탄가스화기 공정 모델의 정밀도를 높일 필요성이 있다. 기존의 열병합 발전 사이클 해석에서 적용되었던 열 및 물질정산과 평형계산 방식을 통하여 석탄가스화기 공정을 해석하는 방법을 확인, 정리하고 이를 개선하기 위한 절차 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 가스화기 내부 공정을 크게 탈휘발과 가스화의 단계로 구분하여 가스화기 출구조건을 예측하였으며, ASPEN PLUS를 이용한 공정해석을 실시하였다. 가스화기 출구에서의 합성가스는 주생성가스인 CO, H₂를 위주로 하여 조성을 얻을 수 있고, 그 결과들을 선행연구들과의 비교를 통하여 가스화기 모델의 분석을 실시한다. 그리고 가스화기 해석의 정밀도를 높이기 위한 향후 고려될 가스화기 모델에 관하여 논의한다.

Successful treatment of cleft lip and palate requires a high level of understanding of the complexity of anomalies and insights for predicting the four-dimensional change of growth. In addition, the surgeon needs to take responsibility for the life-long step-by-step operation that has profound effect on the patient. Alveolar cleft, which occurs in about 75% of cleft lip and palate patients, cannot be recovered without surgical treatment and can cause complications in various areas. However, there remains a lot of debate about the timing of the treatment of alveolar cleft. As a result of an intrinsic defect or previous surgery, patients with cleft lip and palate develop maxillary deficiency in all 3 dimensions with constricted maxillary arch. Therefore maxillary advancement surgery is indicated in about most patients with cleft lip and palate undergoing orthognathic surgery. Therefore, the authors will introduce the consensus of treatment and principles that must be observed in corrective surgery for skeletal abnormalities occurring in cleft lip and palate patients through literature review.

Traumatic lacerations are common in the orofacial region as a result of accidents. Due to the frequent movement of the skin around the mandible, scars in that area are more likely to widen or become hypertrophic. Treatment of facial laceration was performed on three patients and followed by regular check-up. It was discovered that the scars have become hypertrophic, so steroid injections were used. The results were satisfactory with the decrease in sizes and hardnes of the scar. Facial scarring is a particularly distressing phenomenon and has always been a challenge to treat as the scars are more likely to widen or become hyphertrophied due to the frequent movement of the muscle in the facial area. We confirmed that the positive effect of steroid on hypertrophic scars. So, we suggest that proper treatment and periodic follow-up, adjuvant treatments especially steroid injection is necessary in patients with lacerations.

As a recognized critical issue in design and operation of subsea oil/gas systems, flaw assurance is an engineering analysis process to assure that hydrocarbon fluids are transferred economically and safely from resemoir to the end user during the life of a project. One of the flow assurance challenges is prediction of the slugging in the subsea pipelines which could potentially block the flow path of hydrocarbon fluids because slugging greatly affects the design of receiving facilities such as separators and slug catchers. Tire facilities can be flooded and damaged if the slug is larger than the receiving capacity of the facilities. Tlw'efore, quantifying the slug volume is a essential part in the design of subsea production plants. The pui'pose of this paper is to analyze the effect of Operating conditions on slug volume in the subsea pipeline system using multiphase flaw simulation code, OLGA. It is shewn that the slug volumes into the separator through the subsea pipelines are affected by the operating conditions, ramp-up scenarios, and tend to be created lower for the conditins of applying the two step ramp-up scenarios rather than the single step and linear ramp-up scenarios.
양측성 비대칭 구순열 환자의 치료 : 증례 보고 및 문헌 고찰

The correction of asymmetrical bilateral cleft lip is challenging because of its high variability in the lip and nasal tissues. It is the first principle to establish symmetry in bilateral cleft lip of which is indisputable. However, staging and timing in treatment of asymmetrical bilateral cleft including lesser form cleft is controvertible issue. This article aims to report a case about synchronous bilateral nasolabial repair for the patient with asymmetrical bilateral cleft lip with incomplete left and minor form right. and to compare the staging and timing of the repair of asymmetrical bilateral cleft lip including lesser form cleft between the techniques of Mulliken and Fisher.
