시간과 장소에 무관하게 네트워크에 접속하여 필요한 정보를 얻으려는 요구가 증가하면서, 이동환경에서 사용되는 장비를 모니터링하거나 장비로부터 수집한 정보를 분석하여 유선환경에 비해 빈약한 무선환경을 효율적으로 사용할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 Mobile IP MIB이 구현되어 있지 않은 상황에서는 무선환경에 필요한 정보를 수집하기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구실에서는 Mobile IP MIB을 구현하고 SNMP를 이용하여 정보를 수집함으로써, 기존 모니터링 개념과 더불어 단말의 이동성 추적 등과 같은 무선환경에서 필요한 기능들을 접목한 네트워크 관리 시스템인 POSTECH MIP NMS를 구현하였으며, 이를 통해 부하분산 등의 기능을 능동적으로 처리할 수 있는 네트워크 관리 시스템의 기반을 마련하였다.

효과적인 영업관리를 위한 W사의 지역정보 평가시스템 구축 사례

웰빙 생활가전의 시장규모가 급증하게 되고, 국내 대기업뿐만 아니라 해외 유명 업체들의 시장 진입으로 인해 경쟁이 심화됨에 따라 W사 내부에서는 지속적인 경쟁우위를 유지하기 위해서는 영업섹터 정비 및 조직성과평가 체계의 개선을 통한 영업기반 내실화가 무엇보다도 필요하다는 인식이 점차 확산되었다. 그 동안 W사는 전국의 지역을 4만여 개의 급지로 구분하여 관리하였는데, 급지 구분의 불명확성으로 인해 지국간에 중복으로 관리하는 급지의 비율이 전체의 40%를 상회하였고, 성과관리를 위해 영업지역을 평가하는 기준 또한 모호하여 형평성에 대한 논란이 자주 발생하였다. 문제의 해결을 위해 W사는 지역의 특성 및 근접성 등을 반영하여 영업지역을 새로 구분하고 다양한 정보를 보강한 후, 지역평가 모델링을 수행하여 결과를 시스템으로 구현하는 작업을 시도하였다. 이것은 객관적 지역평가에 기반한 지국별 성과평가 체계를 확보하기 위해서였다. 본 연구에서는 W사가 어떠한 방식으로 지역정보 평가시스템을 구축하였고, 그 결과를 어떻게 활용하는가에 대해 구체적으로 살펴보고, 유사한 문제를 지니고 있는 타 조직이나 기업들에게 가능한 하나의 해결책을 제시하는 데 있다. W company has dominated the Korean well-being home appliances market by delivering diverse products, such as water filtration devices, digital bidets, and air purifiers. In 2006, this company completed the development of GIS-based regional sales performance evaluation system successfully in order to improve the management of its business district and organization effectively. The objective of this case study is to present a new attempt to the subjective and unclear performance evaluation problems that some other companies may face with by reviewing the development process of the W company`s regional sales performance evaluation system and its applications.

경기변동과 트렌드 컬러의 상관성 연구

특정 요소가 유행경향에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 정형화하는 작업은 비즈니스 측면에서 중요한 의미를 가진다. 본 연구는 트렌드 컬러 제안에 경제상황이 미치는 영향을 분석하고 관련 산업의 성공적 비즈니스를 위한 전략적 근간을 모색하기 위해 진행했다. 이를 위해 세계경제가 동시불황을 겪었던 2008년을 전후한 5개년의 한국과 일본의 ‘경제성장률’과 ‘인터컬러(Intercolor)’ 제안빈도수의 변화를 비교·분석하였다. 분석결과, 경기변화에 반응하는 양국 트렌드 컬러의 제안양상은 차이를 보였으나, 휴(hue)와 톤(tone) 가운데 톤에 대해서 공통적으로 더욱 민감한 반응을 보였다. 또한 한·일 모두 경기수축기에 전체 제안컬러 빈도수가 감소하는 반면, 뉴트럴(neutral) 컬러의 제안빈도는 급증했다. 한국은 뉴트럴 컬러의 저명도가 경기방향과 같이했고, 일본은 고명도의 제안빈도가 증가했다. 휴와 톤의 양국 비교 시, 한국은 Y 계열이 경기지표와 방향성을 같이 했고 비비드(v), 스트롱(s), 덜(d)톤은 제안빈도가 증가한 반면 페일(p), 라이트 그레이시(ltg) 톤은 감소했다. 일본의 경우, 장기 경기침체로 변화 패턴을 규정하는 것이 다소 어려웠으나, 2008년 경기불황시에 YR 계열은 급증하고 PB계열의 제안 수는 감소했다. 특히 PB∼P∼RP 계열 퍼플리쉬 컬러의 제안빈도가 모두 감소했다. 톤의 경우 비비드(v)는 증가, 스트롱(s)은 감소했으나 회복기에는 반대양상을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 트렌드와 관련된 산업들이 경기상황에 대응한 비즈니스 전략수립에 필요한 시사점을 제공한다. 그러나 보다 세분화 된 확률검증과 연구결과의 일반화를 위해 1997년 IMF 경제위기시기를 비교·분석 할 필요성이 제기된다. Analysing factors that has influence on trend and standardizing the pattern of that influence have particular implication in establishing business strategy in the field of trend related industry. This paper attempts to identify the influence of changing economic condition to trend-color forecasting and to provide the strategic implications for trend related business. For that purpose, the paper compares and analyses the changing pattern of color forecasting projected by Japan and Korea. Before and after the year of 2008 is selected because the world has experienced the global economic recession in 2008. Rate of GDP(Gross Domestic Product) growth is selected for the variable of economic change ,and the frequency of color forecasting projected by "Intercolor(International Commission for Colour)" is used for the color trend. It has been found that both countries have shown a sensitive reaction in terms of "tone" but not in terms of "hue" while the overall reaction of both countries was not identical in general. The frequency of color forecasting decreased in both countries but the frequency of neutral color increased in the period of economic recession. It has been found that the pattern of low-brightness in Korea followed the pattern of change in economic condition while the frequency of high-brightness in Japan has increased in the period of economic recession. In case of Korea, Y range followed the pattern of economic condition and the frequency of forecasting for vivid(v), strong(s) and dull(d) tones increased while that of pale(p) and light grayish (ltg) tones has decreased in the period of economic recession. In case of Japan, it has been found that the frequency of forecasting for YR range increased while that of PB group decreased dramatically in 2008. Especially the frequency of forecasting for purplish colors of all the PB∼P∼RP groups has decreased. In case of "tone," the paper identified that the frequency of forecasting for vivid(v) and strong(s) tones decreased in the period of recession while their frequency increased in the period of economic recovery. As a conclusion, findings of the paper provide implications for color industry in establishing a business strategy. However, the need for further research on the period of 1997 has been raised for the generalization of the pattern and relationship between the trend color and the change of economic condition.

우리나라 산성강하물의 장기변동 특성에 관한 연구

We looked into the characteristics and long term variations of chemicals affecting the acidity of precipitation. To this end, we analyzed the data collected at three acid deposition monitoring sites for the period from 1999 to 2013. Three monitoring sites include Seoul, Taean, and Jeju island. Required parameters such as pH, electric conductivity(EC), and concentrations of eight major ionic species were measured. In order to assure accuracy and precision of the data, values of measured electric conductivity were compared against values of calculated electric conductivity. Moreover, comparison between and was made in accordance with EANET°Øs QA/QC method to assure data reliability. During the monitoring period, the deposition was slightly acidic with pH value ranging between 4.6 and 4.9. Precipitation with pH 4.1 to 4.5 was most frequently observed with occurrence frequency of 27%. The analysis of seasonal variations of atmospheric concentration of pH showed that pH level was highest in spring season due to the influx of yellow sand and high pH levels in soils. The study also found that pH levels of samples collected at Seoul and Taean monitoring sites were lowest in autumn. On the other hand, pH level in Jeju was lowest in winter season. Increase in concentrations of NO3 - in precipitation was commonly observed at three monitoring sites. The concentrations of NO3- and NH4 + which affect the acidity of precipitation at Seoul and Taean monitoring sites showed increasing trend.

This study presents preparation and characterization of composite membranes based on ionic liquids. The ionic liquids act as water in sulfonated membranes. On the behalf of ionic conduction through ionic liquid inside the membranes, non-aqueous membranes showed Arrenhius dependence on temperature with no external humidification. It was implied that hopping mechanism of proton was dominant in the ionic liquid based membranes. In addition, small angle X-ray (SAXS) studies provided the information on morphology of ionic clusters formed by the interaction between sulfonic acid groups of the polymers and ionic liquids. The SAXS spectra showed matrix peaks, ionomer peaks and Prodo's law for Nafion based composite membranes and only matrix peaks for hydrocarbon based ones. However, ionic conductivity and atomic force microscopy (AFM) images showed the clear formation of ionic clusters of the hydrocarbon based composite membranes. It implies for ionic liquid based high temperature membranes that it is important to use sulfonated polymers as solid matrix of ionic liquid which can form clear ionic clusters in SAXS spectra.

Seafood is one of the common causes of food allergies to adults. The sea hare Aplysia kurodai is a marine mollusk which belongs to invertebrate gastropod that has been consumed as a food in Korea. Cases of acute toxic hepatitis after ingestion of sea hares have been reported, but few cases of allergic reactions to sea hare have been reported in the literature. A 33-year-old man was referred to our Emergency Department due to urticaria and periorbital/perioral swelling after eating sea hares. Approximately 10 years ago, he experienced similar allergic reactions to it. Skin prick and intradermal tests showed strong positive responses to crude sea hare allergen extract. He was diagnosed with food allergy to sea hares. We herein report the first case of sea hare allergy after ingestion.
