A diagnosis procedure that allows operators to successfully identify the nature of an on-going event is inevitable for an effective and appropriate recovery. Unfortunately, studies for a framework that can suggest a unified and consistent process in constructing a serviceable diagnosis procedure seem to be scant. Thus, a systematic framework that can be used to construct a useful diagnosis procedure is suggested. In this study, using a full-scope simulator of the reference NPP, an experiment is conducted to confirm the appropriateness of the suggested framework. As a result, it is shown that an operator’s diagnosis performance is improved when the revised diagnosis procedure is used. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that the suggested framework is useful in constructing an effective diagnosis procedure.

This study aimed to analysis of the influence of cooling capacity according to the test conditions. that can be used for proficiency testing to verify the ability of the testing laboratory to standard cooling capacity and power tests. In this study, the test methods used by KS B 6377. We selected the sample fan coil unit by blind test. We was evaluated the three cases of water temperature raised conditions. The results of cooling capacity was effected water temperature raised conditions.

Power consumption in Southeast Asia is steadily increasing due to industrialization and the effects of hot and humid climates. However, there are not enough energy generation facilities and infrastructures to meet the growing demand because it is difficult to secure the construction and operation costs of the transmission and distribution systems. This study aims to develop a gas engine driven heat pump system that supplies heating, cooling and electric power to buildings. This system, besides its normal function to produce heat, has the capacity to generate electricity on a household level. This paper investigates similar cases overseas before developing the system. Through the investigation of commercialized similar systems, the level of technology and market trend of development system were identified. Features and specifications of commercial and industrial systems will be used for system development.

The purpose of this study was to establish a uniform set of requirements for rating computer room air conditioning/handling (CRAC/H) units for dedicated cooling systems in data centers. With the revolution of Industry 4.0, there are many options for data center infrastructure. The next generation of hyper-scale data centers will no longer be limited to past cooling facilities, but will seamlessly integrate the new cooling systems becoming increasingly optimized and mission-critical. For data centers, there are four basic heat removal methods, with air-cooled, water-cooled, glycol-cooled, and chilled-water system, to cool IT equipment and to transport unwanted heat to the outdoor environment. And air distribution systems, room-based, row-based, and rack-based cooling methods, have been developed to address cooling problems. Data center cooling technology is also advancing and improving and new types of CRAC/H units and cooling procedures are being developed. But performance tests of cooling systems do not fully reflect all types of CRAC/H units, data center cooling mechanisms, and data center thermal guidelines for IT environments. Standards and guidelines for performance testing were analyzed by foreign and domestic cases. In this paper, a suggested performance test condition is included in the CRAC/H classification, test requirements, and rating requirements.

Data center customers have a problem. There is no standard way to objectively evaluate the performance of a data center. To halt the ever-increasing energy consumption by data centers it is important to use performance indicators which accurately represent this performance. The strengths and limitations of PUE as the key performance indicator are analyzed and suggestions are made to complement any limitations. The data center community is becoming increasingly aware of the need to provide efficient and effective data center. However, beside the publicized PUE figures for high profile hyperscale data centers, cooling performance can not expect a data center operator realistically. The performance index required to offer a view to evaluate not just energy efficiency but the effectiveness of cooling delivery as well. However, the metrics can not indicate whether the data center performance is good or bad. This paper shows a new view of multiple metrics that beside energy efficiency evaluate facility cooling performance based on IT thermal standards during normal and redundant cooling system failure.
