        One of the worst tragedies in human being history is able to be recognized trauma which can include sexual abuse and harassment. Especially, sexual harassment as trauma can has the power to destroy personality itself and to disconnect the hope of future. Trauma as tragedy not only happens one time but also continue and sustain the negative effect of society through destructive ideology. One of the most influential effect can be pointed patriarchy that support and provide unfair power for specific sexuality. Patriarchal culture composed by male-dominance can assert its unique authority in negative way. Its outcome became serious because unfair power has many obstacles in revealing one's peculiar aspects to be wholistic personality. In order to rationalize this ideology, the current study of psychology can be distorted because of specific sexuality. Most of feminists scholar on this study resist the current study of woman's psychological application and interpretation. According to feminist's approach to uncover the distorted study on specific sexuality, the mechanism of psychology in woman's tragedy is different from the current report that exists in present circle. The crucial point we have to study is to reveal the reality about what is going on. Most of victims in trauma are women and trauma of women should be approached with woman's perspective. After study with this way for women, women's victims through sexual harrassment and abuse of power can be realized with just and equal power what are going on. The one soul can become positive and constructive view to complete one's uniqueness and have an communion with health soul.

      • 중독을 위한 목회상담학적 암시들

        As I approach addiction counseling, it is important, as pastoral counselor, that I have as clear an understanding as possible of who I am both personally and professionally in relation to addiction. I need to be brave enough to examine my own experiences with addictive tendencies within myself and my loved ones as well as my professional experiences with addicts. These experiences color and shape my work with my addicted clients. If I engage in a thorough selfexploration, I can enter encounters with addicts using a clear, balanced approach and avoid being thrown off balance by the intense force of addiction as it has expressed and expresses it self my client’s life. According to my pastoral counseling perspective, I, as shepherd, would have an empathic bonds with my congregations who are church members or my students. Lots of persons who are struggling with many kinds of addiction could be my fellows and helpers. I could think of persons who live around me as precious and valuable to me and to God. So I am concerned about those persons with my genuine heart and sincere mind to be free from addictive environments.

        No one is either wise enough or good enough to write about the crisis in theological education. Youngnam seminary has lot things to think about its future. The settings around Youngnam seminary is not good enough to enjoy its faith and belief to be stable position. The environments of Youngnam seminary to work its unique mission given from God has to be changed and corresponded to stream of other academic areas. Youngnam seminary would like to keep its old belief and old study of its works even if its job should work out present things. The problem ministers confront is to apply their intelligence to present challenges. They just know the way to solve problems theoretically. They do not know to deal the problem practically. Because of these things, the candidate who study in seminary intellectually should change one’s mind to adjust to practical ways. Prior to do this process, candidate should be taught sound theology with integral way to know what problems is and how to solve church’s conflicts. Person who is candidate in the seminary should be taught way how they should integrate intellectual insights into practical methods. Candidate should know who one is. It means s/he should know one’s identity as the servant of God. Then s/he could know what one should do and how one could do properly. The image of one is important ingredient to do God’s work or human’s work. Finally candidates should have ideal vision to practice kingdom of God in this world.

        All people want to be themselves without being oppressive mood. Men and women have the right to support and develop their uniqueness. However, all kinds of people confront their barriers to be from uniqueness to wholeness because of social environment. Especially patriarchy system, unbalance in equality, poisonous pedagogy, and misunderstanding of sexuality in development theory result in distorted human beings having shame. The way to heal shame in human beings is to acknowledge who human beings are and realize what evils are in our situations.

      • 우울증 치유를 위한 목회상담학적 제안

        Modern life in the 21 century is complex and confusion. Depression is one of the popular phenomena among conflicts. It can be a spiritual disorder. The “dark of the soul” that many experience was described at length by the early Christian mystics. Their expressions of the absence of God, the doubt, and the loss of meaning in religious ritual and service are akin to many symptoms of what we now call depression. Depression usually does not wriggle and squirm, act out and disrupt class, even rob a bank. It is more likely to sit quietly in the corner, not wanting to be a bother to anyone. The church as healing and caring community can give guides that help the depressed find their way out of the cavern of despair and returns them to a life of meaningful service. Meaning, for the mature Christian, is based on service and on a realistically positive attitude toward life. To clergy pastoral care should be aimed the depressed as persons whom God loves and remember from now and forever. They deserve God’s concern and joy naturally. In spiritual aspect, the depressed should be recovered as a person who is to live with happy in the world created by God. It means the depressed should be accepted and recognized and have an opportunity to build their hidden and oppressed capacity for the glory of God as well as themselves.

      • 한국가족에서 여성갈등의 목회신학적 고찰

        박중수(Jung Su Pak) 영남신학대학교 2008 신학과 목회 Vol.30 No.-

        This paper reflected on Korean family cultural history and found the main factor causing the chronic conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law was the male-centered patriarchal culture that does not fully regard women as human beings with unique and important personalities. Women are treated as supporters or helpers of men, and not as leaders or initiators on their own. They are isolated from each other and from their families and larger communities at every level, and they must endure great suffering. Correction of specific sociological, theological, and psychological misconceptions enables pastoral counselors to present alternatives that can help reconcile mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. One misconception considers a woman’s weaker physical strength and physical size as adequate reason to treat them as inferiors in every way. Another misconception considers women naturally more tender and submissive than men, thus naturally dependent on them and unable to fully take care of themselves or have achievements similar to those of men. In terms of these ideas on womam’s position, the entire society on women’s idea should be transformed into positive aspect that woman is person as well as human being. Man should accept woman as equal and fair partnerto expand the world of God. It means woman and man should cooperate to establish and flower in family as well as society.
