Since the invention of the scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) by G Binning and H Rohrer in 1982 this imaging technique has made a dramatic impact in fields as diverse as material science semiconductor physics biology electrochemistry surface chemistry and catalysis. The main reason for this huge influence of STM in science is that it provides three-dimensional (3-D) real space images of a surface with atomic scale resolution and allows for spatially localized spectroscopic measurements of surface structures. In this paper basic principle of STM its spectroscopic applications and STM tip-fabricating methods will be discussed.
임상연구 : 노인 환자에서 Sevoflurane-Remifentanil 마취유도 시 Glycopyrrolate, Atropine 투여가 혈역학적 변동에 미치는 영향

Background: This study was conducted to determine the effect of glycopyrrolate or atropine on attenuating hemodynamic responses such as bradycardia and hypotension during anesthetic induction with remifentanil and sevoflurane in elderly patients, in a randomized placebo-controlled double blinded manner. Methods: 60 patients over 65 years with ASA physical status 1 or 2 were allocated to one of three groups of 20 each. Each group received saline placebo (group C) or glycopyrrolate 4μg/kg (group G) or atropine 0.5 mg (group A) immediately after induction of anesthesia, and then remifentanil 1μg/kg bolus was given over 30s. Mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were measured before anesthetic induction, before intubation, and during 5 minutes after intubation at 1 minute interval. Results: MAP remained stable and HR increased significantly 1 min after intubation in all groups. MAP decreased significantly during 2-5 minute after intubation in all groups. HR decreased in the group C, remained stable in the group G, and increased in the group A significantly during 3-5 minute after intubation. Hypotension (systolic blood pressure < 90 mmHg checked twice) occurred in 8 patients in the group C, 1 patient in the group G, and none in the group A. Conclusions: Glycopyrrolate and atropine attenuated the hemodynamic responses to laryngoscropy and intubation during anesthetic induction with remifentanil 1μg/kg bolus dose and sevoflurane. 본 논문은 컴포넌트 S/W의 저장, 관리, 유통 활성화를 위하여 컴포넌트 명세서를 규격화하고 규격화된 컴포넌트 명세서를 표준 메타언어인 XML 기반으로 모델링하는 것이다. 클래스 라이브러리의 한계점들을 극복하고 소프트웨어 재사용성을 향상시키기 위한 단위로 만들어진 컴포넌트 단위의 재사용 기법의 XML 기반의 컴포넌트 명세서로 인해 더욱 활성화 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 컴포넌트 메타데이터 및 리소스 정보, 외부 인터페이스들의 논리적 구조 및 시맨틱 표현 기법을 연구하고 컴포넌트 명세서 표현을 위한 메타데이터 모델을 근거로 컴포넌트 명세서를 효과적으로 생성할 수 있는 GUI 기반 명세서 기반 도구를 설계한다.

본고는 지난 30년간 SK하이닉스의 탄생과 위기 그리고 극복과정을 태동기(~1984년), 도약기(1985~1990년), 성장기(1991~1996년), 제1위기와 하이닉스의 탄생(1997~2001년), 재도약기(2002~2006년), 제2의 위기와 업계 재편(2007~2009), 회복기(2010~2012), 과점화와 호황 시기(2013~현재)의 8개 기간으로 나누고, 이 기간 동안 세계 반도체 시장의치열한 경쟁구도에서 SK하이닉스가 어떻게 생존해 왔는지를 분석하였다. 하이닉스의 생존의 배경에는 다음과 같은 SK하이닉스의 전략이 있다. 첫째, SK하이닉스는 사업의 위험성을 줄일 수 있는 신속한 추격자 전략을 사용하였다. 둘째, 위기 시에 적절한 다운사이징(downsizing) 및 사업 중점화 전략과 노사 간의 긴밀한 관계를 통하여 생존을 극복해나가는 기업 문화를 창출해왔다. 셋째, 어려운 환경 속에서도 기술개발에 대한 투자를 꾸준히 이어나갔다. SK하이닉스는 이러한 전략을 통해서 수많은 반도체 회사들이 무너져 가는 지난 30년간의 치열한 경쟁을 이겨내고 세계 최고 수준의 반도체 회사로 발돋움해나가고 있다 In this study, the birthing and risk overcoming process of SK Hynix for the last 30years is divided into the 8 stages: the embryonic(~1984), the take-off(1985~1990), the growth(1991~1996), the recession and the birth of Hynix(1997~2001), the re-takeoff(2002~2006), the second risk(2007~2009), recovery(2010~2012), oligopolies and boom period(2013~present), and we investigate how SK Hynix has survived the cutthroat competition of the global semiconductor industry. First, SK Hynix used the fast follower strategy to reduce risks to businesses. Second, the company culture suited to the survival in the market has been built through proper downsizing, concentration strategy on their core business and close cooperation of management and unions. Third, investment on technical development has been constantly made under very difficult circumstances. Due to these strategies, SK Hynix is becoming a world-class semiconductor manufacturing company by overcoming fierce competition for the last 30 years when numerous semiconductor companies have collapsed
미세 갑상선 유두상암에서 양측성과 연관된 임상 병리학적 인자에 대한 분석

Purpose: Papillary thyroid carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor originating from the thyroid. The recent increase in frequency of thyroid ultrasonography is increasing the diagnostic rate of thyroid cancer, especially of the small-sized cancer. The appropriate extent of surgery for thyroid micropapillary carcinoma is still under debate, and bilaterality of the tumor may be an important factor determining the extent. Therefore, this study analyzed the clinicopathologic factors related to tumor bilaterality in order to help decide the extent of treatment. Methods: Subjects included 134 patients who received total thyroidectomy and central neck lymph node dissection at Wonju Christian Hospital under the diagnosis of thyroid micropapillary cancer from January 1<SUP>st</SUP>, 1994 to December 31<SUP>st</SUP>, 2009. The frequency of bilateral tumor among the subjects were studied, and the relationship between bilaterality and clinicopathologic factors, including patients' gender, age, tumor size, multiple mass in single lobe, capsule invasion, extrathyroidal extension, lymphovascular space invasion, central neck node invasion and lateral neck node invasion was analyzed. Results: There were 32 cases (23.9%) of bilateral tumor. Statistically significant factors related to bilaterality included two or more mass in a single lobe, perithyroidal soft tissue invasion. Conclusion: When we plan thyroidectomy for thyroid micropapillary cancer, one cannot rule out the possibility of bilateral thyroid micropapillary cancer in patients with clinicopathologic factors related to bilaterality. Closer preoperative examination is thought to be required for such patients. (Korean J Endocrine Surg 2011;11:18-21)
비결정질 코발트 인산염 합성 및 NaBH<sub>4</sub> 가수분해를 통한 수소발생 촉매 활성 연구

본 연구에서는 실온에서 간단히 염기의 양을 조절함으로서 세 가지 종류의 서로 다른 형태의 비결정질의 cobalt phosphate를 합성하였다. 합성된 샘플의 결정성과 형태를 X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)과, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)를 통하여 확인하였으며, sodium borohydride의 수소발생 불균일 촉매로서 적용하였다. 촉매들 중에서 실온에서 합성한 비결정질의 cobalt phosphate 중에서 염기의 양이 가장 적은 10 nm 이하의 얇은 판상 형태의 촉매가 표면적이 넓어 가장 좋은 수소 발생 촉매활성을 보였다. Amorphous cobalt phosphates were synthesized with their distinct morphology by controlling the amount of base in the synthetic condition. The crystallinity and morphology of cobalt phosphates were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The prepared cobalt phosphates were applied as a heterogeneous catalyst for generating hydrogen gas from the hydrolysis reaction of sodium borohydride. We found that the catalyst prepared using the least amount of base condition at room temperature showed a plate shape with less than 10 nm thickness, which resulted in the best catalytic activity among all catalysts due to the large surface area.
