Domestic air traffic in China will become the world’s busiest within 10 years and it is foreseen that China will overtake the United States of America in 2023 in terms of the number of passengers and in 2027, in terms of RPK (Revenue Passenger Kilometer). In the next 20 years, the estimated average annual growth rate for the Chinese domestic market is 7.1 percent but this will grow even faster over the next 10 years to 8.3 percent on average per year. As for the incumbent mega carriers having grandfather rights on the existing routes between Korea and China, Korean full service carriers (FSC) might be afraid of expanding in current open skies stage with the neighboring country having a huge aviation market. In the long run, however, it will help Korean flag carriers be more competitive and also, this is a strategic step they should take in advance of the future Korea-China-Japan open skies agreements as well as the expected ASEAN Single Aviation Market in 2015 . Like the trans-Tasman routes between Australia and New Zealand or the trans-Atlantic routes between EU and the U.S., we should aggressively develop the trans-Yellow route between Korea and China.

Africa should be recognized as a new cooperation partner for the 21st century, no longer as a 'continent in crisis.' African countries still remain an underdeveloped niche in the global market, and we need to pay attention to their massive potential. Though the initial motivation came from natural resources, China has not limited itself in Africa, becoming active in all sectors from infrastructure to small-scale retail. Chinese presence in Africa increases its development needs and renewed growth, however African believe Chinese activities have caused friction and new colonial powers between Chinese people and African. Korea should develop its own development model, which selects certain countries and intensively supports those countries. By concentrating on certain recipients, we could offer systematic support based on long-term plans.

본 연구는 인천경제자유구역에 입주한 기업들의 만족도를 조사하여 향후 인천경제자유구역의 투자 환경을 개선, 더 많은 기업을 유치하는데 도움을 주는데 목적을 두고 있다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 입주 결정은 ‘경영진 의지’(30.7%)가 가장 많았고, 전입 후 사업성과 변화는 ‘현상유지’ 및 ‘개선’ 이상으로 응답한 업체가 92.3%에 달했다. 전반적인 만족도는 응답 업체 모두가 행정지원 서비스, 인력수급 등의 항목에서 ‘보통’ 이상 만족한 것으로 답한 반면 전입 시에는 ‘행정지원 미흡’의 애로를 경험했다. 따라서 인천경제자유구역 입주기업들은 경제자유구역 입주에 따른 만족도가 높은 점을 감안하면 향후 구역 내 산업용지의 추가 확보와 외국기업과 함께 강소기업으로 성장할 수 있는 중소기업들의 입주 제한을 완화해야 한다. 또한 행정지원, 인력수급, 산업인프라 등 입주기업들의 만족도가 크게 낮은 것으로 나타나 인천경제청이 입주업체의 구체적 경영애로를 파악해 개선하는 시스템 마련이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to substantially survey the satisfaction of resident companies in Incheon Free Economic Zone to improve the investment environment of Incheon Free Economic Zone to attract more resident companies. This study implies that additional industrial lots should be secured and the restrictions against small/medium companies should be alleviated so they can grow into strong companies considering that the resident companies in Incheon Free Economic Zone are highly satisfied with their business in Incheon Free Economic Zone. As resident companies` satisfaction with administrative support, recruitment, and industrial infrastructure is low, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority should understand and improve the specific complaints of resident companies.
