The main objectivies of this study were to study characterization of concentration distributions and a reduction strategy of air pollutants in Chinju area. For this purpose, the data of air quality issued by EOM(Ministry of Environment of Korea) are used. The annual mean concentrations of SO_2 and O_3 were 0.014 and 0.024 ppm in 1997. Seasonal variations of SO_2, NO_2 and CO concentrations appeared to be the highest in winter and lowest in summer. While locational variations of NO_2 concentration were highest in bus terminal (O site), and lowest in Chinyang-ho (A site).

The core theme of this study was to analyze the role of bureaucrats in the revision process of the medical insurance law in 1976. The professional capacities of bureaucrats have been strengthened and the policy legacy of the medical insurance scheme has been accumulated since 1960's. The findings of this study show that the bureaucrats of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs(MHSA) persuaded President Park to become affirmative to the medical insurance and initiated the revision process of the medical insurance law on the basis of the professional power. The results of this study presumably confirm the proposition that the state has been the initiative actor in the policy process in Korea.

In this paper, we studied the estimation of consumptional requirements of the artillery tube during the war-time. The artillery tube plays a major role in carrying out sustainable fire combat so it is important to predict the requirements of the artillery tube properly. In order to calculate consumptional requirements of the artillery tube during the war-time, we made use of the Defense Logistics Integrated Information System(DELIIS) to figure out the residual life of the current artillery tube and the Defense Ammunition Information System(DAIS) to identify the number of rounds per Artillery Ammunition's type. We found EFC(Equivalent Full Charge) values per charge's type by using Firing Tables in order to calculate the tube abrasion and fatigue life. We allocated the ratio of the charge consumption by considering the tactical operations of the artillery units. We verified that the results of the estimation of consumptional requirements of the artillery tube are more improved than the existing studies have shown.

The objective of this study was to investigate the feasibility for electrolytic treatment of dyes chemical factory wastewater. The expermental results are summarized as follows. 1. In case of the electrolytic treatment for dyes raw wastewater at current density of 1.82A/㎠ and 15minutes electrolysis duration, It was found that the COD removal efficiency and color were 35% and 240, respectively. 2. In case of the electrolytic treatment for dyes 1st treated wastewater at current density of 1.82A/㎠ and 15minutes electrolysis duration, It was found that the COD removal efficiency and color were 40% and 210, respectively. 3. In case of the electrolytic treatment of dyes raw wastewater at current density of l.82A/㎠ and l5minutes electrolysis duration, It was found that the COD removal efficiency and color were 65% and 220, respectively.
