This study aimed to investigate how job embededness of hotel employees affects customer orientation, and what factors of job embededness influence customer orientation by putting LMX quality as parameter. It proposes the importance of human service and relationship between subordinates and superiors that allows hotel enterprises to achieve the management target and suggests implications in securing talents and custody management-wises of excellent hotel employees. The empirical analysis involved with the employees of the deluxe hotel located in Seoul and survey was conducted from Jan 2 to Jan 31, 2012. A total of 378 questionnaires were used for the empirical analysis. The summary of the analysis is as follow: First, suitability, tie, and sacrifice that represent job embeddedness have influenced customer orientation in a statistically positive way. Second, affinity, loyalty, contribution will, and respect as LMX quality factors are playing a role of mediator in the relationship between job embededness of hotel employees (suitability, tie, sacrifice) and customer orientation. The implication of this study is that although job embededness affects customer orientation, the hotel manager should recognize that LMX quality of affinity, loyalty, contribution will and respect that employees have determines the effect of job embededness on customer orientation.

This study purposes to analyze the relationship between work satisfaction and organizational commitment recognized by outsourcing employees working at a hotel, and the differences between management method of chain and non-chain hotels to drag practical implications to effectively manage outsourcing employees who would work at various departments of hotels in the future, and to propose the improvement measures. The summary of the analysis and result through hypothesis verification are as follows. First of all, for the general characteristics of a sample, the age group of outsourcing employees was mostly 40s and 50s, and females were more than male in gender. Second, the work satisfaction had an effect to the organizational commitment for the relationship between work satisfaction and organizational commitment of outsourcing employees. That is, interest in work, opportunity for promotion, psychological stability and working environment had an effect to an organization concentration. Third, the difference in work satisfaction of chain and non-chain outsourcing employees with different management method showed higher work satisfaction from chain hotel employees, however, higher work satisfaction in the working environment and psychological stability were high from non-chain hotel employees.

This study proposes implications and practical improvement of family restaurant services to provide convenient and comfortable dining area by analyzing how the factors of family restaurant work environment, which is in continuous increase trend, have influence in job satisfaction and organizational commitment. As a result, first of all, the positive recognition on payment, welfare, relationship between colleagues, and personal evaluation felt during works of family restraint employees has shown to have influence in job satisfaction. However, the factors related to training do not effect in job satisfaction. Second, the general satisfaction in works of family restaurant employees showed to have influence in organizational commitment. Therefore, the job satisfaction of family restaurant employees felt during the work could be said to have a correlation relationship with organizational commitment.

Pt and Pt alloys are used as a structural material for the fabrication of glass because it has a high strength and good volatilization properties at high temperature. Especially Pt-Au alloys, which increase a contact angle between glass and the Pt alloy, have been received a lot of attention, however, there have not been many studies related with the volatilization properties at high temperatures. In this study, volatilization properties of Pt-4%Au-0.3%ZrO2 were conducted at elevated temperature. The volatilization properties of Pt-4%Au-0.3%ZrO2 were compared with those of Pt and Pt-0.3%ZrO2. The results showed that the volatilization rate of Pt-4%Au-0.3%ZrO2 was the fastest. It was confirmed that Au was dominantly volatilized because the vapor pressure of Au was higher than Pt oxide at over 1473 K. Also, the concentration gradient of Au between surface and inside of Pt-4%Au-0.3%ZrO2 specimens was generated owing to high vapor pressure of Au at over 1473 K. At this time, Au atoms in the inside of the specimen diffuse to the surface of the specimen, and Pt atoms diffuse opposite way. However, the diffusion rate of Au atoms is higher than that of Pt atoms. Therefore, micro-pores are generated in the inside of the specimen because Pt atoms cannot fill the site where Au atoms occupy until it diffuses to the surface of the specimen.
