        연 폭로근로자의 신경행동학적 변화

        연 폭로 근로자들의 혈중 연 농도가 신경 행동 검사에 미치는 영향을 알기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 부산 모공단내의 연 취급사업장에 근무하는 남자근로자 59명을 대상군으로 선택하였다. 신경 행동 검사는 WHO(World Health Organization)에서 제안한 NCTB(Neurobehavioral Core Test Battery) 중 5항목을 사용하여 시행하였다. 연구 대상군들은 혈중 연 농도에 따라 저농도군$(0<PbB<=20{\mu}g/dl,\;n=12)$, 중간농도군(20<PbB<=40, n=34), 고농도군$(40<PbB<=80{\mu}g/dl,\;n=13)$으로 분류하였다. 숫자 암기 중 역순 숫자 부호 짝짓기, Benton Visual Retention에서 고농도군과 중간농도군이 저농도군에 비하여 유의하게 수행능력이 저하되었으며, 연령, 교육기간과 상관성이 가장 큰 항목은 숫자부호 짝짓기였다. 혼란변수인 연령과 교육기간을 보정한 후에도 Benton Visual Retention에서 여전히 고농도군과 중간농도군에서 저농도군에 비하여 유의한 감소를 보였다. 그러나 고농도군과 중간농도군의 비교에서는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보인 항목은 없었다. 신경행동변화와 관련된 연의 영향을 명확히 하기 위해서는 근로자의 취업시부터의 정확한 개인별 폭로력과 혈중 연 농도뿐만 아니라 통합된 연 흡수 척도들의 추적과 함께 신경행동검사가 시행되어야 할 것이다. To evaluate the neurobehavioral effects of blood lead, we performed NCTB (Neurobehavioral Core Test Battery) on 59 men who were exposed to lead occupationally. Performance on the tests was studied in relation to three ranges of blood lead $(low,\;0<PbB<=20{\mu}g/dl,\;n=12;\;medium,\;20<PbB<=40{\mu}g/dl,\;n=34;\;and\;high,\;40(PbB<80{\mu}g/dl,\;n=13)$. Workers with high and medium blood lead concentrations showed poorer performances on digit span backward, digit symbol and Benton Visual Retention. After adjustment for age and education, high and medium group showed significantly impaired performance on Benton visual retention and slightly impaired performance on digit span backward. But it showed no different performance on tests between high and medium blood lead group.

        일본에 있어서의 생물교재의 개발과 활용에 관한 연구

        The propose of the present study is to show the way to develop and use the teaching materials for biology in Japan. This study was mainly carried out in documents. The following suggestions should be taken in moderate consideration: 1. Private enterprises as well as the government make heavy investments and careful considerations for the promotion of the science education including biology education. 2. Among in-service teachers one or two volunteer(s) chosen for special training course managed by the local education center are cultivated as excellent teachers on the development and using of teaching materials through an intensive study and training for six months or twelve months. 3. Most research groups consist of specialists in every field and they carry out studying the development of teaching materials in biology.

        일본의 과학 영재교육

        The purpose of this study is to show the way of teaching the scientific talent in Japan. This study was conducted only by the printed matters. The results of the investigation are as follows: 1. Japan at present has neither systems nor laws for offical scientific talent education. 2. Japanese's scientific knowledge and way of rational thinking had been widespread among the general public by elementary education from one hundred ten years or so ago. 3. In addition, the instrument subjects such as foreign language and mathematics were well educated in the elementary and secondary school level and the preparatory courses of college. 4. Especially, the third and the first preparatory courses of a college(Daisan Koukou and Daiitchi Koukou) and Kyoto University have contributed greatly to the cultivation of liberal spirit in education, which turned out to be one of the essential elements for scientific talent education.

      • 교재로서의양파 겉껍질

        This survey was carried out in order to suggest that onion tunic may be used as a science teaching material which is easily obtainable for the natural dye. The reasons are 1) Since onion tunic easily obtainable through out the year. 2) The preparation of natural dye enables us to be free from the complicated skill and process. 3) Students may learn one example of flexibility of thinking when we use as a material of natural dye onion tunic which is a kind of waste. The author recommend to use onion tunic as biological science teaching material in extra curricula activities to make student enjoy not only one biological experiment but also one example of flexibility of thinking.

      • 초등과학 재교육에 대한 고찰 -특수연수를 중심으로-

        This survey is concerned with the in-service training of the elementary school teac- hers to improve the science education through in-service education. The problems set up in the survey, in sum, are the operation of the in-service tra- ining for the special science course assisted by UNICEF, the scientific environments of elementary school, the view of elementary school teachers on the science teaching, and the undesirable problems of class work. The studying methods are survey of teachers opinion by questionnaires and analyses- of answers in papers. 531 subjects at various levels are selected from all over Choon- gnam Province by stratified random sampling and statistical methods used are t test, priority number and percentage. Subjects are classified into experimental groups of the- special science course and control group of the other courses. The results analyzed are as following: The scientific environments, relatively, seem to be in good conditions. Generally, teachers' teaching philosophy seems to have attained desirableness. Because of poor situations, teachers prefer to do demonstration rather than to help every pupil to carry out their experiments at first hand. We don’t have good teachers' guide books. Contribution of supervisors and resource personnels is not satisfactory for science education in class work. Methods and standards of the selection for the special course trainees seem to be ir- rational. Assignment of the chief teacher of science seems to be short of propriety for further improvement. The writer suggests the idea of in-service training as following, according to the results of the analyses: 1. Detailed system should be prepared for positive activity of resource personnels and effective guidance of supervisor. 2. The selection of trainees from local instructors should be managed through reas- onable system, in order to promote the effectiveness of local in-service training. 3. Urgent efforts should be made to edit the available teachers’ guide book and lab manual. 4. Team-teaching system should be, manipulated urgently or the assignment of class teacher should take reasonable operation. 5. The assignment of the chief teacher of science should take reasonable method, in order to assign practically available teacher who, continually makes effort in scientific field, in stead of the oldest teacher in the school.
