Owing to global climate change, the global resurgence of vector-borne infectious diseases and their potential to inflict widespread casualties among human populations has emerged as a pivotal burden on public health systems. In this study, the prevalence of flaviviral diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, and their target vector diversity, abundance, and distribution was investigated to enable the mapping of hotspots for these diseases. For the surveillance of the vector mosquitoes carrying flaviviruses during April to November 2015, female mosquitoes were collected to study whether they carried pathogens from abroad at seven locations in Incheon Metropolitan City (Incheon) as a typical urban area and Hwaseong-si (= city, Hwaseong) of Gyeonggi-do (= province) as a rural area. A total of 15 species belonging to seven genera (29,102 female mosquitoes) were collected with blacklight and BG-Sentinel™traps at a collection rate of 260 per trap/night from whole collection locations. The most collected mosquito species in Incheon were Aedes vexans nipponii (species ratio (SR), 29.9%) and the Culex pipiens complex (SR, 28.8%), followed by Anopheles sinensis s.l. (SR, 27.9%) and Ochlerotatus koreicus (SR, 7.1%). From the results of viral RNA detection, five flaviviruses were found in 20,981 individuals (excluding An. sinensis 696 pools) in the Cx. pipiens complex and Ae. vexans nipponii. Three Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV)-positive pools were from the Cx. pipiens complex, a Chaoyang virus pool was found from Ae. vexans nipponii, and the remaining unidentified flavivirus pool was from Cx. pipiens. The three JEV-positive pools were phylogenetically grouped as genotype V. The results of our study demonstrate that enhanced monitoring and long-term surveillance of these vector viruses are of great public health importance.

Squeal of disk brake is a noise and self excited vibration with frequency range of 1~10Khz cause by the friction force between the disk and the pad of the automobile. Passengers in a cehicle feel uncomfortable. In this paper modal analysis of wheel brake system was performed in order to prediction of squeal phenomenon. It was shown that the prediction of system instability is possible by FEM. finite element model of that brake system was made. Some parts of a real brake was selected and modeled. The normal mode analysis method performs analyses of each brake system component. Experiment of modal analysis was performed for each brake components and experimental results were compared with analytical result from FEM.

Selection index for average daily gain and backfat thickness was derived from the genetic and phenotypic parameters estimated on the basis of the data from 3,369 heads of Yorkshires, Durocs, Hampshires and Landraces tested from March, 1984 to August, 1985. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows; 1. The heritabilities of average daily gain estimated were 0.369, 0.470, 0.318 and 0.367, respectively, in Yorkshires, Durocs, Hampshires and Landraces and the average heritability was 0.381. The heritabilities of backfat thickness estimated were 0.404, 0.662, 0.565 and 0.892, respectively, in Yorkshires, Durocs, Hampshires and Landraces and the average heritability was 0.631. 2. The genetic correlations between average daily gain and backfat thickness were 0.238, 0.425, -0.132 and 0.079, respectively, in Yorkshires, Durocs, Hampshires and Landraces and the average genetic correlation was 0.152. The phenotypic correlations between average daily gain and backfat thickness, were 0.147, 0.321, 0.020 and 0.147, respectively, in Yorkshires, Durocs, Hampshires and Landraces and the average phenotypic correlation was 0.159. 3. The selection index derived from the estimated parameters and economic weights based on the data from market survey on the price of the products was I₁= =X₁+ 6.52X₂ and the index from the economic weights based on the regression analysis of the price of the breeding stocks was I₂= =X₁+ 2.94X₂. Microcavity Effect of Top-emission Organic Light-emitting Diodes Using Aluminum Cathode and Anode

We report microcavity effect of top emission organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) by using Al cathode and anode, which are feasible for not only top emission EL and angle dependant effects but facile evaporation process without ion sputtering. The device in case of Alq3 green emission showed largely shifted EL maximum wavelength as 650 nm maximum emission. It was also observed that detection angle causes different EL maximum wavelength and different CIE values in R, G, B color emission. As a result, the green device using Alq3 emission showed 650 nm emission (0o) to 576 nm emission (90o) as detection angle changed. We believe that these phenomena can be also explained with microcavity effect which depends on the different length of light path caused by detection angle.

Experiment of modal analysis was performed for each brake components and experimental results were compared with analytical result from FEM. The complex eigenvalue analysis results compared with braking test. The analysis results show good correlation with braking test for the squeal frequency at an unstable mode.
Creative Imitation as Catch-up Strategy: A Business Model

Catch-up is a well-known and familiar terminology for innovation scholars in developing countries such as Taiwan, Korea and China. The strategy, however, is too difficult to perform in each industry. This study looks into a catch-up strategy that Apple and Xiaomi used and examines the results on the creative imitation of business model in the smartphone industry. It is quite surprising that even Apple is based on catch-up strategy. They wanted to catch-up Nokia. Our case study shows that these two companies quickly caught up with the leaders, and the common feature of their strategy is characterized as creative imitation of business model. Creative imitation of business model is different from creative imitation of innovation. Furthermore, this research confirms that the creative imitation of business model leads to aggressive creative innovation.

Squeal, a kind of self-excited vibration, is generated by the friction between the disc and the friction materials. It occurs at the ending stage of the braking process, and radiates and audible frequency range of 1 kHz to 10 kHz. Squeal is generated from unstability because of the coupling between the translation and rotation of the system. This instability is caused by the follower force and follower force is normal component of the friction force. In this paper modal analysis of wheel brake system was performed in order to predict the squeal phenomenon. It was shown that the prediction of system instability is possible by FEM. A finite element model of that brake system was made. Some parts of a real brake was selected and modeled. Modal analysis method performs analyses of each brake system component. Experimental modal analysis was performed for each brake components and experimental results were compared with analytical results from FEM. To predict the dynamic unstability of a whole system, the complex eigenvalue analysis for assembly modeling of components confirmed by modal analysis is performed. The finite element models of the disk brake assembly have been constructed, and the squeal noise problems have been solved by complex eigenvalue analysis. The complex eigenvalue analysis results compared with real train test.
