The progress of e-business has provided various value-based pricing strategies that are based on a buyer's willingness to pay. The purpose of this research is to investigate effective factors on the adoption of dynamic pricing models in e-business. It also provides insights about dynamic pricing strategy under a specific contingent context. In an attempt to identify effective factors that determine adoption for dynamic pricing, we employ two factors: introduction time and determination procedure. Through literature reviews, we have selected five variables which can be used to explain reasons for adoption of dynamic pricing strategies. This research conducts five in-depth case studies to explain what factors are important for adoption of dynamic pricing models. Research findings are summarized as propositions and future research directions are discussed.<br/>

정보통신과 미디어의 확산, 그리고 지역발전 기회 등의 이유로 올림픽, 박람회 등과 같은 메가이벤트(Mega-events)에 대한 관심이 확대되고 있다. 메가이벤트는 관광산업을 비롯하여 개최지역 산업전반에 걸쳐 경제적으로 큰 영향을 미치며, 지역인지도 및 삶의 질 향상 등 무형적인 효과도 동시에 발생시킨다. 최근 들어 메가이벤트의 효과분석에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있지만 실제적인 평가의 수행에는 많은 한계점이 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 전략관점에서 메가이벤트 성과분석을 위한 통합적인 프레임워크를 제시하는 것이다. 구체적으로 경쟁전략과 자원기반이론의 통합적 관점에서 개최지역의 자원활용과 포지셔닝을 중심으로 성과분석을 위한 투입요소와 산출요소를 새롭게 제시함으로써 경제적 영향과 무형적 효과를 동시에 고려하고 이를 통해 각종 메가이벤트 특성에 적합한 성과분석이 가능하도록 제시하였다.

Knowledge sharing in the Evolution of Internet Portals

본 연구의 목적은 지식기반관점에서 인터넷 포탈에서의 지식공유 유형을 분석하는 것이다. 또한 사용자의 지식공유 행태를 고찰함으로써 인터넷 포탈의 진화과정에 대한 통찰을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 지식공여와 지식수집이라는 2가지 차원을 기반으로 지식공유 유형을 제시하고, 한국의 주요한 인터넷 포탈에 대한 사례분석을 통하여 제시한 유형을 검증하였다. 연구의 결과에서 협업, 축적 및 출판이라는 3가지 유형의 인터넷 포털 지식공유 유형이 도출되었다. 또한 사용자의 지식공유 행태는 인터넷 포탈 진화과정의 주요동인으로서 작용한다는 것을 제시하였다.

전자상거래의 발전과 함께 최근 다양한 형태의 인터넷 쇼핑몰 비즈니스 모델이 출현하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보의 윤택성과 도달성의 동시적 향상이 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 진화과정에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저, 거래의 빈도와 거래의 정확성을 2개의 차원으로 하여 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 분류를 제시하고, 이 분류를 해석하고 개념화함으로써 정보의 윤택성과 도달성의 향상으로 인한 대량 맞춤화 과정이 인터넷 쇼핑몰 진화의 동인으로서 작용되고 있음을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate impacts of the organizational contexts on the implementation of e-logistics. Especially, this study was focused to find relationship between organizational structures and e-logistics implementation. To achieve the research objective, case research methodology was employed. As organizational contexts, we select formalization, centralization, size of organization and IT characteristics. The result show that the implementation of e-logistics is determined by formalization, centralization, size of organization and IT characteristics. Also we suggested a proposal research model and set up hypotheses.

전자도서관의 개념은 정보관리와 정보전달에 있어서 핵심적인 요소로 인식되어오고 있다. 전자도서관의 응용 분야인 기업형 전자도서관은 정보관리의 효율화를 통해 기업이 경쟁우위를 창출할 수 있도록 개발되고 사용되어지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 조직전략과 정보 전략의 정합성에 초점을 맞추어 기업형 전자도서관의 역할을 탐색하는 것이다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 조직의 성장 단계와 기업형 전자도서관의 발전 과정의 비교 연구를 통하여 조직에서의 기업형 전자도서관의 역할을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대규모 제조기업을 대상으로 사례연구를 수행하고, 각 성장단계에서의 기업형 전자도서관의 핵심요소와 조직전략과의 정합성을 기반으로 서비스 지향, 출판 지향, 지식 지향 그리고 고객 지향으로 구성된 기업형 전자도서관의 4단계 성장모델을 제시하고 각각의 역할을 고찰하였다.

영화와 음반 타이틀에서 유추한 대중문화 영문 타이틀 서체 선호도 변화

본 논문은 1960년부터 2009년까지 50년 동안의 영문 타이틀 서체 스타일의 선호도의 변화와 그 원인을 분석하기 위하여 연구되었다. 50년간의 서체 변화를 알기 위하여 대중문화 콘텐츠 장르인 영화와 음악 분야에서 두가지의 타이틀 디자인 표본을 매년 추출하였다. 수집된 타이틀은 서체 분류 체계를 통하여 구분, 분석되었다. 60년대부터 2000년대까지 10년씩 다섯 개의 시대구분을 이용하여 각 시대에 어떠한 형태의 서체가 가장 많이 사용이 되었는지를 밝히고 영화 타이틀과 음악 타이틀 서체 선호 변화에 장르간의 상관관계가 있는지 연구하였다. 서체 사용 변화에 영향을 미친 역사, 기술 및 사회문화적 요인을 밝혔다. 연구를 통하여 각 시대별로 선호되는 서체가 있음이 확인되었고 확산속도가 빨라 파급효과가 큰 대중문화의 특성에 따라 이러한 선호도의 변화가 타이틀 디자인에 빠르게 반영되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 영화와 음악 분야에서 사용되는 서체 선호에도 일정한 동기화가 일어나는 것을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study is to analogize and to analyze the change and preference of latin title typefaces. To do this, we extracted two types of samples in movie and music industries annually. To analyze the typefaces, we researched and used typeface classification systems. We divided the 50 years into five decades and analyzed which kind of typefaces were usually utilized in each decade. The relationship between movie titles and music titles was also studied. The historical, technical, social and cultural factors, which influence the usage of typefaces, were ascertained. We confirmed that each decade has its own preferred typefaces and due to the character of the fast spreading of popular culture, the change of people"s preference reflects instantly to the title design. There is a certain synchronization in movie and music industries.

The objective of this study is to explore a knowledge sharing typology for Internet portals based on knowledge-based view of firm. Furthermore, we provide insights into how the evolution of Internet portals takes place by describing user behavior of knowledge sharing. For doing this, we first present a typology of knowledge sharing based on the two dimensions such as knowledge donation and knowledge collection. Then we conduct case study of the Korean major portals to demonstrate a proposed typology. The main finding of the analysis is that three distinctive types of knowledge sharing patterns within portals are distinguished: collaboration, accumulation, and publishing. We conclude that user behavior of knowledge sharing is characterized as guiding factors in evolution process.

The concept of sustainability is increasingly important with the notion of global threats to the environment. In a response to environmental sustainability, many organizations are facing a heavy pressure to invest in green IT initiatives. However, the concept of green IT initiatives is rarely defined and little research has focused on the green IT approach and strategies. The purpose of this paper is to present the phases of green IT maturity, focusing particularly on the factors that influence maturity process. From a resource-based perspective, we outline a green IT domain matrix and present a maturity model in terms of the degree of resource utilization. Several theoretical propositions are derived from a maturity model for identifying the effects of resource utilizations on green IT maturity.
