This study was designed to figure out the changes in elderly women`s foot size and shape by aging, to propose size specification for elderly women`s shoes, and to produce regression equations using representative measurements items to estimate other measurements usually hard to get Subjects were 118 women of 30-59 yean and the 227 elderly women over 60 years. Martin`s anthropometry was done on the right foot of each subject for 25 items. And 11 indirect measurement items were measured on both foot printing sole outline and picture in profile taken by digital camera. For statistical analysis on the anthropometric measurements by SPSS program, analysis of variance, post-hoc test(SNK-test), crosstabulation, multiple correlation analysis, regression analysis were performed. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, it was found that the foot figures of elderly women over 60 years were smaller in girth and width than those of below 60 years. In addition, it was revealed that a big toe and a little toe of elderly women showed a tendency concentrating to the central axis of feet. The foot index of elderly was smaller in width and girth. Secondly, foot size distribution table of elderly group showed wider size ranges and covered smaller sizes than the below the age of 60, meaning wide variation in foot size of elderly women. Thirdly, the multiple correlation analysis showed high correlation of foot length / girth to other measurements, suggesting these two items could be used as representative items for elderly women`s she size specification as other age groups. Regression equations were produced using foot length/girth to estimate other measurements, suggesting such items could be estimated effectively and utilized in on/off-line shoe manufacturing shop as heel to big toe length, heel to little toe length, exterior malleouls with, instep girth ankle girth, etc. These results imply prudent features of elderly women`s foot as diversity of foot shape and de size specification range should be applied for ergonomic shoe design for them.

Woolen fabrics were manufactured in Korea since the early prehistoric period, and were manufactured and used from the period of the three Kingdoms and Koryo through the Choson era. These materials were developed in to woolen fabrics through a tradition of thousand years. In Korea the Orient Culture of nomadic tribes and Mesopotamia Culture of stock-farming come together and developed these original woolen fabrics culture. During the Chosen period woolen goods were frequently manufactured and used. Those remains consist of various hats and shoes made up of felt. And the remains which of a kind of woolen fabrics were made from the wool materials. There were various stock farms and supplies a woolen carftsman needed the wool materials. And there were especial woolen goods shops as Choung Po Joun.

This study investigated the garments of middle-aged women undergoing menopause and their satisfac-tion with them. Data were collected through a survey of 288 middle-aged women and analyzed using SPSS 17.0. As a result (in terms of degree of symptoms) backache, arthralgia, muscular pain and heat sensation were indicated as significantly more outstanding in the menopause group rather than the menopausal tran-sition group. As a countermeasure to pjysiological symptoms, a change of temperature (warming or cooling) was applied for backache and arthralgia as well as taking medicine for stomachaches and muscular pain. Body parts suffering from heat sensations were the face, back neck, chest center, waist and hip. Body parts suffering from arthralgia and muscular pain were the shoulder and hip joints. The most significant purcha-sing factor for menopausal women was the fit of outerwear and antibiosis in underwear, however, women not undergoing menopause selected comfortableness when moving as the most important factor. In terms of body shaping and themoregulation function, the satisfaction degree in underwear was significantly dif-of body shaping and thermoregulation function, the satisfaction degree in underwear was significantly dif-ferent between the two groups. Menopausal women wanted functional underwear that provided functions such as thermoregulation, absorption of secretions, and antibiosis.

This study was designed to produce rounded belt pattern and tight-skirt pattern drafting method, using 3D body scan data. Subjects were thirty women in their early twenties. In order to figure out the optimum cutting points, namely, where darts are made, using CAD program, curve ratio inflection points on the horizontal curve of waist, abdomen, and hip to find 1 point in the front, two points in the back part. The average length from center front point to maximum curve ratio was 7.7 cm(46.3%) on the waist curve; 7.9 cm(39.4%) on the abdomen curve. And the average length from center back point to maximum curve ratio point was 6.9 cm(39.0%) for first dart and 11.2 cm(63.3%) for second dart on the waist curve; 8.9 cm(35.8%) for first dart and 15.7 cm(63.3%) for second dart on the hip curve respectively. The cutting lines from were made up by connecting curve inflection points. After divided using rotting lines, each patch was flattened onto the plane and all the technical design factors related with patternmaking were measured, such as dart amount, lifting amount of side waist point, etc. Based on the results of correlation analysis among these factors, regression analysis was done to produce equations to estimate the variables necessary to draw up pattern draft method; F1=F8+1.1, F4=2.5×F2+0.9, F5=0.9×F4+1.0, F6=0.3×F4+0.4, B1=0.9×B8+2.3, B4=2.1×B2+1.3, B5=0.9×B4+3.5, and B6=0.3×B4+0.4.

본 연구에서는 46개 중앙차수벽형 석괴댐 (Center Cored Rockfill Dam, 이하 ‘CCRD’라 한다)의 계측자료 및 인공신경망기법의 적용을 통해 댐 축조단계에서 얻어지는 계측 자료를 이용하여 담수 후 댐의 정부침하량을 예측하는 기법을 개발하였다. 본 연구에 사용한 인공신경망 모델에는 역전파 학습알고리즘(back-propagation learning algorithm)이 적용되었으며, 인공신경망의 학습효율 및 예측능력에 영향을 미치는 입ㆍ출력층 및 은닉층의 구조, 학습율, 오차율 등을 달리하여 학습을 시행하였다. 인공신경망 모델설계를 위하여 내부침하량, 정부침하량, 댐높이, 코어종류 등을 입력변수로 설정하고 정부침하량을 출력변수로 설정하였으며, 인공신경망모델 설계 후 Matlab을 활용하여 모델을 구현 및 실험하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과물은 CCRD의 여성고 결정 등 댐 설계ㆍ시공 및 계측관리의 신뢰도 증진 등 댐 유지관리 측면에서 댐 기술자에게 좋은 보조적 툴이 될 것으로 기대된다.
