Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine college students’ awareness of respect for life and their consciousness of respect for life in an attempt to highlight the importance of respect for life. Methods : This is a descriptive research study to investigate the way students who were in their first, second, third and fourth years in college looked at respect for life. The collected interview data on the awareness of the selected college students about respect for life were analyzed according to the procedure of content analysis to find out their definitions of respect for life, the importance of it, Results : when they felt respect for life was needed and how to put it into practice, and 62 significant statements and 17 categories were selected. Given the findings of the study, education on respect for life should systematically be conducted from diverse angles to teach college students the preciousness of life and the importance of respect for it. And this education should focus on finding out, systematizing and internalizing the basis of the thought of respect for life. Conclusion : A school curriculum should be revamped into a curriculum of respect for life, and the content of it should be prepared in detail to instill the thought of respect for life in students in light of their characteristics in each stage.

The history of the Palgongsan Fault comprises the growth-fault, the dormant and the strike-slip phases. Dissecting the Palgongsan Granite, the Palgongsan Strike-slip Fault, which is the product of the final phase, sinistrally offset about 5.5 km as shown in the dislocation of the Hasandong Formation. Faulting, sedimentation and igneous activity were inter-related in the early phases of the Palgongsan Fault. Some other faults such as the Dansan Pond Fault and the Hayang Fault have also been discovered, and their some stratigraphic implications and the ages of faulting are discussed. The anomalous development of the Jindong Formation in the study area and the related stratigraphic problems are discussed. It has been confirmed that the Konchonri Formation deposited over the Chaeyaksan Volcanic Formation in spite of the recent doubts on their such stratigraphic relation. The chronological sequence of the volcanisms of the Kyongsang Basin has been summarized.
간호대학생의 온라인 수업 적용 시 학습관련변인과 자기조절학습능력이 수업만족도에 미치는 영향

Purpose : This study is a descriptive survey research in order to grasp the influence of the learning-related variable and the self-regulated learning ability upon class satisfaction given the application of online classes to nursing students. Methods : The convenience sampling was carried out in nursing students at 5 universities from June 1, 2020 to July 30. The questionnaire response data of finally 284 students were analyzed. Data analysis was used SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results : The class satisfaction showed a correlation with the quality of instructional content (r=.75, p=.001), the quality of class composition (r=.72, p<.001), the learner to learner mutual level (r=.39, p<.001), the student to teacher mutual level (r=.76, p<.001), the learner to content mutual level (r=.85, p<.001), the self-regulated learning ability (r=.56, p<.001). The quality of instructional content, the learner to content mutual level, and the self-regulated learning ability, which were applied to the subjects, indicated a significant impact (F=147.85, p<.001). Conclusion : An effort is considered to be necessarily made for increasing the quality of instructional content and of class composition, and for improving the online class preparation level in teachers and students through re-designing the online instructional structure.
