Objectives: Low levels of serum insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I) in preterm infants have been to predict the risk and severity of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and other severe perinatal morbidities. This study aimed to find the relation between the level of serum IGF-I and the development and severity of ROP in Korean preterm infants. Methods: A retrospective study was carried out on 73 premature infants who admitted to NICU of Kyungpook National University Hospital from August 2008 to June 2011. We measured the level of serum IGF-I at birth, 14 days, and 21 days. The ophthalmologic examinations were performed once or twice a week, depending on the severity, which was started by the later of 31~33 weeks’postmenstrual age or 4~6 weeks after birth. Results: The level of serum IGF-I at birth is correlated with birth weight. The mean serum IGFI values at birth is statistically different between appropriate for gestational age infants and small for gestational age, also between infants with and without morbidities, but not statistically different between infants with ROP and infants without ROP. The levels of serum IGF-I at 14 days and 21days after birth also are not different significantly in infants with ROP. The level of serum IGF-I at birth is not related to the time to recover birth weight, and severity of ROP. Conclusions: The level of serum IGF-1 and early weight gain do not have significance as a predictor of ROP in this study. It needs to perform regular and repetitive ophthalmologic examinations.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the conspicuous consumption tendency by age on Beauty involvement. The questionnaire method was used for the study method and the subjects of the study were females in their 20s - 50s. 580 sets of questionnaires were distributed and 554 sets were used for the final analysis and as for analysis. The results of this study are as following. First, as a result of the examination of the differences between conspicuous consumption and Beauty involvement by age, hair styling of beauty consumption behavior in their 20s and body shape management in their 50s were foung highest. Second, as a result of the analysis of the effects of the conspicuous consumption by age on the Beauty involvement,The people in their 20s and 50s influence the individuality pursuit orientation the factors of the doesn’t influence any of the people in their 20s to 50s. and the people in their 20s and 30s influence the hair direction and make-up direction among the factors of the brand orientation and those in the 40s hape management. the hight price orientation factor the 20s the skin management and hape management. The trend pursuit orientation factor showed its influence on 20s and 30s hair direction and make-up direction and those in the 40s the hair direction and skin management and those in the 50s the hair direction and make-up direction and skin management.

유행스타일 변천요인에 관한 연구 : P.Poiret, G. Chanel, E. Schiaparelli의 작품을 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to clarify the causes effected on fashion style change from Belle Epoque era to the end of the 1930's by examining the fashion Design of Paul Poiret, Gabrielle Chanel, and Elsa Schiaparelli. The results are as follows : 1. Poiret Style ; The form of Poiret design was similar to the style of Art Deco. The very luxurious, vivid and shining color of his garment was influenced by the color of Fauvism, the costumes of Ballet Russes, and graphic design. 2. Chanel Style ; Boyish style which fitted well on Chanel's own body figure fitted well on the nessds of that time(twenties). Simple and functional Design gave freedom in action to young and career women and the line of her style was similar to that of the modernism design based on the functionalism which was fashion in industrial design. 3. Schiaparelli Style ; Her ellegant style which showed female body figure was fitted romantic style and the streamline shape which was fashion in industrial design. Her eccentric design influenced by sur-realism showed fresh and shocking effect in fashion design.

흰쥐에서 출생 전의 Nitric Oxide Synthase 억제제의 노출이 출생 후의 MK-801에 의해 유도된 행동 민감성에 미치는 영향

목적 본 연구는 신경세포의 성장과 이동에 영향을 미치는 NOS 억제제를 임신 중에 투여 받은 어미 쥐에서 태어난 쥐를 대상으로, NMDA 수용체의 비경쟁적 길항제인 MK-801에 의한 운동 활성의 변화를 알아보고, 항정신병약물이 MK-801에 의해 유도된 행동 변화에 미치는 영향을 평가하여, 신경발달학적 측면에서 정신분열병의 병인을 구명해보고자 함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 방법 체중 200-250 gm의 암컷과 수컷 Sprague-Dawley계 흰쥐를 같은 사육상자 내에서 물과 사료를 자유로이 섭취하게 하면서 임신을 유도하였다. 임신 후기의 어미 쥐를 세군으로 나누고 제 1 실험군에는 N^(w)-nitro-L-arginine(L-NA) 25 mg, 제 2 실험군에는 L-NA 40 mg을, 세번째 대조군에는 생리적 신염수를 투여하였다. 생후 5주째에 MK-801을 복강 내로 1회 투여해서 대조군과 실험군 간에 있어서 약물의 감수성의 차이를 Neurovision analysis라는 자동분석프로그램을 이용해서 행동 변화를 평가하였다. 다음으로 각 군에 haloperidol과 clozapine을 전처치하고 10분 후에 MK-801을 투여하고 행동 변화를 측정하여 MK-801 감수성에 미치는 효과의 차이를 확인하였다. 결과 L-NA를 투여 받은 어미 쥐에서 태어난 새끼 쥐에서 운동 활성이 유의하게 감소하였다. MK-801 투여 후의 행동 변화를 관찰한 결과, 임신 중 L-NA를 투여 받은 어미 쥐에서 태어난 실험군에서 임신 중 생리적 식염수를 투여 받은 대조군에 비해 운동 활성이 유의하게 증가하였다. MK-801을 투여하기 전의 운동 활성은 성별 간에 차이가 없었으나, MK-801에 의한 운동 활성의 변화는 수컷쥐에서 암컷 쥐에 비해 운동 활성이 유의하게 증가하였다. Haloperidol과 clozapine을 전처치한 경우 실험군과 대조군 간에 있어서 운동 활성의 유의한 차이는 관찰되지 않았다. 결론 MK-801에 의한 효과가 L-NA를 투여 받은 어미 쥐에서 태어난 쥐에서 더 강화되었다. 즉, 모체의 L-NA의 투여는 새끼 쥐의 MK-801에 대한 감수성을 증가시킨다는것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 항정신병약물은 L-NA의 투여유무와 상관없이 MK-801의 감수성을 감소시킨다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Objectives : The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of prenatal exposure to NOS (nitric oxide synthase) inhibitor during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy on MK-801-elicited behavioral sensitivity in postnatal juvenile rats and the effect of an antipsychotic drug on the change in MK-801-elicited behavioral sensitivity in an attempt to elucidate the participation of NO (nitric oxide) in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. Methods : L-NA (N-nitro-L-argimne, 25 mg/kg, 40 mg/kg) was injected intrapehtoneally in pregnant Sprague-Dawley ratsduring the 3rd trimester of pregrancy. On postnatal day 35, MK-801-elicited behavioral sensitivity was measured using Neuro-vision Analysis (automatic motor analysis program). Animals were pretreated with haloperidol or clozapine as a antipsychotic drug before administration of MK-801. Statistical tests of drug effects were performed using ANOVA. A value producing p<0.05 was considered to be significant. Results : MK-801-elicited locomotor activity was significantly increased with prenatal exposure to L-NA in postnatal rats. The change in MK-801-elicited behavioral sensitivity was significantly diminished by pretreatment with halopehdol and clozapine. Conclusion : These findings suggest that NO may in part play an important role in neurodevelopment in that prenatal exposure to NOS inhibitor can influence MK-801-elicited behavioral sensitivity in postnatal rats. These results also indicate that the neurodevelopmental abnormality may predispose schizophrenia.

고딕여성인체에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to examine the Gothic woman's body figure, body organization, body posture, and body proportion. Five nude paintings which the body characteristics were suitable for this study were selected. The body postures in nude paintings were deformed to make the bodies stand as straightly as possible. The results were as follows ; The body figure was ectomorphic type. The body posture was shown S-curve style. Body organization ; The face was a little big. The bust was small. The waist was high. The stomach was protrudent. The arms and legs were a little slender. Body proportion ; The height was 7 1/2-8 units. The bust was almost 2nd line. The waist was a little higher than 3rd line. The hip was almost about 4th line. The arms and legs were a little shorter than those of 8units body.
