The number of visitors to historic sites and museums in Korea has been on a rapid decrease and in order to search for creative ways to work on the problem, the study proposed a theme park-typed museum with cultural heritage applied and reviewed spatial strategies for such theme park-typed museums. Applied methods of research of this study are as follows. First, in order to understand definitions and current situations of cultural heritage use and theme park-typed museums, the study went thoroughly over all sorts of literature and reports as well as findings of advance researches on how to make a use of cultural heritage. Based on the results of the investigations, the study determined characteristics of the theme park-typed museums with cultural heritage applied which the study was proposing and the characteristics were categorized by type. Considering those characteristics and types gained in the study, the study looked for cultural heritage-based theme parks and museums in the world which were good enough to be used as research subjects in the study from the aspects of profitability and level of awareness. The study examined those theme parks and museums in the world and in the end, it found out ways to adopt the findings to the situations in Korea and discussed expecting effects as well. As to the characteristics of the theme park-typed museums with cultural heritage applied, the study divided those characteristics into mutual cooperation, location, communicability, authenticity, maintainability, education, durability, narrativity, undailiness, interactivity and leisure. The types were categorized into ride, environment direction, cartoon character and souvenir by attraction pattern. When cultural heritage is used actively, it would improve competitiveness of historic cultural sites and museums in return, making people realize the iterative structure of excavation, conservation, maintenance and use of cultural heritage. That would create many kinds of added values, re-discovering culture of the country. At the same time, it would also create a new value of culture as well. Now, it is important for us to do harder with researches on how to evolve museums and exhibition spaces. Considering that, the study is believed to make a contribution to revival of historic sites and museums in Korea but also establishment of scientific strategies.
Investor Sentiment and the Market Pricing of Corporate Earnings
박소라 ( Sorah Park ) 한국회계학회 2016 회계저널 Vol.25 No.1
This study examines whether the market pricing of corporate earnings is affected by investor sentiment. The primary proxy of investor sentiment in this paper is the composite index developed by Kim and Byun (2010), based on common variation in six underlying proxies of sentiment (the share turnover in Korea Stock Exchange, equity share in new issues, retail investors’ trading, stock fund flows, Customer Expectation Index, and customer’s deposit for stock investment). In order to capture stock price reaction to earnings news, I measure the earnings response coefficient (ERC) and post-earnings announcement drift (PEAD) based on cumulative and buy-and-hold abnormal returns over windows [-1,+1] and [+2,+60], respectively, where day 0 is quarterly earnings announcement date. Using a sample consisting of 12,012 quarterly earnings announcements of listed companies on Korean Securities Market over the years 2001 to 2010, I find that the effects of investor sentiment on stock price reaction to good and bad earnings news are differential. I show that ERC and PEAD for positive earnings surprise do not vary with investor sentiment. By contrast, bad news response coefficient is lower when investor sentiment is pessimistic than when it is optimistic. This indicates that market participants react less negatively to negative earnings surprise when they are pessimistic. I also show that post-bad-news-announcement drift over window [+2,+60] is less negative when sentiment is pessimistic, suggesting that the impact of investor sentiment on the pricing of bad earnings news does not reverse quickly. Additional analysis shows that the results are robust to an alternative measure of investor sentiment based on the aggregate market price-to-earnings ratio.

This study was conducted to develop a tool to measure the job embeddedness of veterinary nurse in animal hospitals. Referring to the tool developed by Michell (2001) and using the Delphi technique, 21 members were composed to calculate the CVR value of the first and second validity analysis, and wrote 20 basic items with a score of 0.42 or higher. In factor analysis, the sample fit value of KMO was 0.863, exceeding 0.6, and Bartlett's significance level was 0.0, which was less than 0.05. Varimax rotational component value was judged to be acceptable when it was 0.5 points or more for each item, and it was appropriate in 16 items except for items 4, 6, 7, and 12. And Cronbach'α = 0.889, exceeding 0.6, and reliability was recognized. The basis for the number of subjects in the 1st and 2nd questionnaires to verify reliability for veterinary nurse is when the significance level ɑ=0.05, number of groups=1, effect size 0.3, and power (1-β) 0.95 are satisfied using the G+ power program. There are 111 people were designed considering the dropouts. The sub-factors for reliability analysis were composed of 4 factors. Factor 1 was named “Link to organization”, factor 2 was “Welfare to organization”, factor 3 was “Prospect to organization”, and factor 4 was named “Fit to organization”. In this study, the development of the scale of job embedding was completed with 16 items and 4 sub-factors. In the future, it is hoped that this study will be used as a tool to measure the job Embeddeness of veterinary nurse and help improve their working environment.

Feral dogs are not friendly to people and are very difficult to capture, unlike stray dogs in Korea. In addition, various problems caused by feral dogs are on the rise, so capture and adoption are urgently needed, but it is difficult to capture. The use of the COLLARUM® Canine Capture Device is considered to be a very useful live capture tool in the domestic situation where it is difficult to capture feral dogs. This capture tool meets international humanitarian capture standards and is already widely used in Australia and other places where feral dogs cause ecological problems, so its effectiveness and safety have been verified. It is easy to install and move, so it is possible to install many of them in places where it is difficult to use a capture frame, such as a mountain area, which is the main wild dog habitat in Korea. As described above, COLLARUM® can be installed in almost any place, including mountainous areas, so it is possible to safely capture feral dogs as well as stray dogs, enabling effective management of abandoned animals. Therefore, it is considered to be the equipment that should be most actively considered for domestic introduction and local government distribution in order to manage the population of wild dogs and increase the capture rate.
