Is this paper, a pedestrian inertial navigation system with vision is proposed. The navigation system using inertial sensors has problems that it is difficult to determine the initial position and the position error increases over time. To solve these problems, a vision system in addition to an inertial navigation system is used, where a camera is attached to a pedestrian. Landmarks are installed to known positions so that the position and orientation of a camera can be computed once a camera views the landmark. Using this position information, estimation errors in the inertial navigation system is compensated.

An inertial navigation system for pedestrian position tracking is proposed, where the position is computed using inertial sensors mounted on shoes. Inertial navigation system(INS) errors increase with time due to inertial sensor errors, and therefore it needs to reset errors frequently. During normal walking, there is an almost periodic zero velocity instance when a foot touches the floor. Using this fact, estimation errors are reduced and this method is called the zero velocity updating algorithm. When implementing this zero velocity updating algorithm, it is important to know when is the zero velocity interval. The gait states are modeled as a Markov process and each state is estimated using the hidden Markov model smoother. With this gait estimation, the zero or nearly zero velocity interval is more accurately estimated, which helps to reduce the position estimation error.

Old buildings in cities are redeveloped and are made as a space to stimulate user emotion by utilizing existing space factors along with time value as experience marketing, which provides emotional experience to a user by attractive and unique spaces and lead users to stay in a space by providing emotional fullness, has been expanding. This space plan requires more thorough inspection and imagination than planning a whole new space in order to tie the time and space elements accumulated in the existing building with the new personality assigned to the building. Although the methodology and related policies of recycled architecture are actively researched in the recycling of large idle facilities or industrial facilities, there are differences in application of the area, structure, and facilities of medium and small spaces. Therefore, this research analyzes the case of regeneration of aged factories as commercial facilities in small and middle sizes and proposes basic data to be used aged space redevelopment process.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of exhibit space and exhibit display of the Memorial Museum and identify the problems of the Tiradentes Memorial. To celebrate independence 70th anniversary, the five examples of the memorials which are Recommended in Seoul last year are selected to investigate. Those are ‘Kim, gu memorial’, ‘Ahn, Chang-Ho memorial’, ‘Ahn, June-guen memorial’, ‘Yun, Bong-gil memorial’, ‘Lee, Hoe-Yeong memorial’. This study is processed 3 steps below down; First, Through theoretical study on previous research, recognize the concept and function, status of the tiradentes memorial. And find out the type and characteristics of the exhibition display. Second, After Conducting case studies, analyze the exhibit space of memorials. Third, Analyze method of exhibit display and spatial composition and recognize the major problems of the memorial. The result of the research suggests that tiradentes memorial should utilize various method of exhibit display and size up the space for exhibition to attract visitors. Also, They need to extend facilities which are related to figure, except for too big office or useless room.

This study aims to analyze Korean writing textbooks, and the consequence of this analysis will be useful to advanced level learners whose goal is to obtain higher education in Korea. In particular, this paper examines ‘writing knowledge’ of the advanced level learners of Korean. With regard to writing, knowledge and quality of the writing are closely related. The less knowledge one has for writing, the more difficult one feels towards writing, which might lead them to avoid it out of fear. This paper focuses on advanced learners who will enter universities in Korea. Advanced academic writing text books are included for analysis. The result of analysis by criteria based on previous research on whether learners can acquire writing knowledge through textbooks shows that context knowledge and writing process knowledge are well presented, but it is found that the contents of education for acquisition of content knowledge are very insufficient. This paper suggests a way to present writing knowledge that should be reflected in writing textbook for advanced learners for academic purposes.

This study is family businesses and non-family companies about the impact on business performance were demonstrated. The characteristics of this study, Family succession were excluded from the data selected. The reason than blood relationship company participation in management or ownership, because ownership is important. And family firm that combines the cross-sectional data and time series data by using panel data to theory models are empirically. The empirical results are as follows. First, family firm and non-family firm had different business performant. Second, firm size and advertising ratio is family firm is higher than non-family firm, were statistically significant. Sales growth is higher for non-family firms, Statistically significant negative relationship was demonstrated. Especially, Age is have a positive impact on business performance that was not statistically significant than expected. Third, there was significant relationship between Performance variable is Family firm were higher than non-family firm.
경추추간판 탈출증환자의 감압치료 병행효과에 대한 임상적 연구

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to make a survey of the effectiveness of the non surgical spinal decompression treatment in patients with cervical disc herniation documented on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). Methods: We studied about 27 cases of cervical disc herniation which were treated with non surgical spinal decompression and other medical treatment (acupuncture, interferential current therapy and ice poultice). Each patient has been treated with spine decompression and other medical treatment. And degree of improvement has been evaluated by short form-McGill pain questionnaire(SF-MPQ), visual analogue scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI) before treatment and 5th, 10th times after treatments. Results: 1. The VAS, SF-MPQ and NDI scores showed statistically significant improvement after 5th and 10th treatment. 2. The VAS, SF-MPQ and NDI scores after 5th treatment showed better improvement than those of after 10th treatment. 3. The VAS, SF-MPQ and NDI scores in subacute stage showed more statistically significant improvement among the other stages. Conclusions: As a result, non surgical spinal decompression treatment has clinical effects of pain reduction on patient with cervical disc herniation.

This paper is concerned with orientation estimation using inertial and magnetic sensors. A quaternionbased indirect Kalman filter structure is used. Magnetic sensor output is used only for yaw angle estimation using two step measurement updates. External acceleration is estimated from the residual of the filter and compensated by increasing the measurement noise covariance. Using the direction information of external information, the proposed method prevents unnecessarily increasing the measurement noise covariance corresponding to the accelerometer output, which is not affected by external acceleration. Through numerical examples, the proposed method is verified.

This paper presents a foot movement tracking system using ultrasonic sensors and inertial sensors, where the position and velocity of foot are computed using inertial sensors and ultrasonic sensors mounted on a shoe. A foot movement can be estimated using an inertial navigation algorithm only; however, the error tends to increase due to biases of gyroscopes and accelerometers. To reduce the error, a localization system using ultrasonic sensors is additionally used. In the localization system using ultrasonic sensors, the position is continuously calculated in the absolute coordinate. An indirect Kalman filter is used to combine inertial sensors and ultrasonic sensors. Through experiments, it is shown that the proposed system can track a foot movement.
