This study researched about Chinese-Korean poetry's understanding of the world in the Chinese-Korean poets Yook, Lee and Yeon Soo, Shim's works which were released from 1940 to 1948. The study of Yook, Lee and Yeon Soo, Shim's poems' understanding of the world was focused on how the poets had the understanding of the discrepant nation's tragedy, how they brought the will for overcoming the circumstance by literature. With regard to this, there are various meanings in their understanding of the world. Yook, Lee tried to express the resistance and patriotism in his poems before the liberation. On the other hand, after liberation, his works brought a new extended understanding about the anger about nation's division. Yeon Soo, Shim's works can be defined the inner conflict of the suffering from under Japanese occupation, nostalgia and the desire for national liberation. The characteristic common to two poets is that poetic subject brings nostalgia and hope for national liberation and delight. If Yeon Soo, Shim's poets are the structure of aesthetics "waiting", Yook, Lee's poems are made by the structure of esthetic "challenge". The poems of Yook, Lee and Yeon Soo, Shim, Chinese-Koeran poets have the literary meaning that they are the literature in the period of resistance other than general view defining the period of 1940 is the Korean literature's dark period. The research of two poets is reflecting the Chinese-Korean's history of sufferings in life, at the same time, it can bring the subject of another national literature out of the solid understandings for Korean literature.
