To forgive others, we should deal with traumatic experiences and then freely choosing to stand up for ourselves, not being led by our perpetrators. To ask for forgiveness, we should prove to ourselves we’re guilty for the rest of our lives, showing our ultimate authenticity and truthful integrity, pleading for forgiveness. The daily practise of self-overcoming makes this happen, through Butler’s definition of nonviolence. By doing so, we’re been able to attain the realm of genuine forgiveness, potentially affecting other violent societies to be influenced by the principles of forgiveness. With the definition of J. Butler about nonviolence, daily practice of forgiveness is important even if it is hardly performed by self. (Chonbuk National University)
DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL DC-ARC WELDING MACHINE

This paper introduces the results of the development of a new mobile Digital DC-arc Welding Machine (DDWM). A simple PI controller is applied to the DDWM to control the output welding current tracking the constant setting current. Furthermore, a hot-start function, an anti-stuck function, a standby mode and an intelligential circuit breaker (ICB) are included in the DDWM. The DDWM increases welding quality and saves more power energy than a conventional welding machine. Because the DDWM is changed from ready mode into the standby mode automatically after 2 minutes interval from this unload start. Then the DDWM is changed into ready mode automatically since it is reused to weld. Mover, the DDWM increases welding quality, productivity and reduces costs of welding. So, the DDWM can have a great of contribution to the mobile welding industries. The effectiveness of the DDWM was proven by the experimental results and durable test.

Coetzee’s books before Age of Iron showcase a whole range of problems stemming from many different types of violence. Among these, we would find: physical violence, cognitive control, ideological violence, psychological violence, and mental abuse. Age of Iron also shows us how nonviolence stems from Judith Butler’s daily self-overcoming practice: meaning that Mrs.Curren takes others as they are, rather than how she might have them to be. One type of nonviolence can simply be interpreted as an extended form of maternal love. As such, Mrs. Curren can truly embrace not only her daughter, but also others from the bottom of her heart, through her steady humble effort. Mrs. Curren shows the possibilities of building up a new future definition of love by embodying Butler’s concept of nonviolence. Ultimately, Coetzee’s Age of Iron demonstrates how Butler’s notions of transference and counter-transference lead to a new interpretation of love by accepting others for what they are, rather than what they either have or do. This paper helps change dichotomous logic systems such as logocentric and phallologocentric into something multi-dynamic which has been through exploring the influence of four main emotions: disgust, shame, anger, and revenge. The socially engineered emotion of ‘disgust’ influences ‘shame’, which in turn affects ‘anger’ and then ‘revenge.’ The subsequent interplay between any social system emotions(SSE), could lead; e.g. disgust and shame to have a strongly positive corelation. Here, shame typically drives someone to the wall: while anger and resentment give rise to revenge. These four non-stop negative afflictions have damaged humanity and fueled the cycles of endless mental confusion. To help end this cycle, we could embrace Marther Nussbaum’s transition-anger philosophical world view. Central to achieving this would be these four negative emotions of doubting, questioning, and more clearly seeing. Finally, nurturing the positive relation between transition-anger and forgiveness, the world can move toward a new revolutionary paradigm of ethics. (Chonbuk National University)

This report covers a series of international conferences in 2016, held in Fudan University, Renmin University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau. The events brought together 13 international scholars from 8 different countries and more than 40 Chinese scholars from 13 Chinese academic institutions. Although a small portion of the 66 papers that were presented at these conferences are discussed here due to space limitation, the report has organized the presentations thematically and created virtual dialogues between the papers to assist the reader to get a sense of the key intellectual debates that this international exchange brought forth.

RCS측정은 전자기파의 산란과 반사가 중요한 역할을 하는 통신 시스템, 안테나 시스템 및 항공기 설계에 도움이 되는 요소이다. 그러나 항공기나 선박 등 대형 물체에서 RCS 측정 시간과 경비가 비교적 많이 든다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 앞의 문제를 해결하고, RCS측정 효율을 높이고자 LSTM의 방식을 도입하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용하여, 기존의 측정된 데이터로 허용 오차 범위내의 측정되지 않은 RCS 예측 데이터를 보여 주었다.
Measurement of Oil Thickness Using Snell’s Laser Refraction

Concerns about oil spills are a major cause of marine contamination. If we can quantify the thickness of an oil slick, we will be able to better understand how oil spreads and behaves. Snell"s idea may be used to quantify refracted light beams in oil. A quantitative analysis of oil thickness was created using this method. A laser beam is focused towards the air/oil/water layer to conduct the test. When the refractive index of the medium changes, the beam rays refract. The location of a refracted laser beam ray is computed using Snell"s law, and the position is recorded by a camera module controlled remotely by a microcontroller. The X and Y coordinates of the beam ray location are determined by using Python OpenCV to analyze an image of the recorded beam position. The thickness of the oil is measured and evaluated after collecting the X and Y coordinates. The findings of the analysis were compared to the estimated thicknesses of the oil. The results of the tests show that the proposed method is accurate to within 1% error and can effectively quantify oil slick thicknesses on the water up to 11mm.
