The power system and control system constantly reveals surge voltage such as switching surge of lighting devices and power conversion devices, operating and stops surge of rotating devices, charge & discharge surge, opening & closing surge of circuit breakers and the like. Such a surge voltages can cause damage or malfunction of the element such as CPU, Memory, semiconductor etc. In the industry, in order to protect the system from the surge voltage, a surge protector with low discharge starting voltage, fast response time, and low capacitance is required, and technical development research for that is ongoing. In this paper, in order to solve the problem of the existing GDT discharge tube not discharging from the transient voltage which is higher than the commercial voltage and lower than the discharge voltage of the discharge element, we have developed a discharge element having the control electrode & control circuit. The discharge element having the control electrode and the control circuit can control the discharge voltage according to the needs of the consumer and can satisfy the requirement of the discharge element and the technology of the surge protector downsizing technology and the surge protection technology. It is judged to be effective for development.

Domestic rail industry for the development of Korea High Speed Rail paid for high technology, imported to Korea. However, If technology based on conditions that are not equipped with relevant skills is received, there are limits to what it used to. so team of high speed railway began technical development. In this study, through the motor block resistant plan, the current block resistant identifies problems related to it, in order to improve the quality of the parts, secure the standards and guarantee their life span. The localization of the resistant is really possible thanks to the technical skills.

The equipment in ships and railway vehicles are continuously exposed to vibration, and its durability is very important. Therefore, consumers require the verification of the performance of equipment via standardized tests under the given environments to improve and stabilize the performance. In this study, a durability improvement and stabilization plan was proposed, which included the exploratory vibration test, variable frequency test and endurance test for the electrical equipment according to the vibration environment. It is expected that this study results will improve the technological competitive power of the ship and railway-related manufacturers and contribute to the equipment development and export.

Generally, the characteristics of the conductor that was affected by forest fire can be analyzed only when the forest fire is accurately modeled and its effect is identified. Few studies have been conducted with a forest fire model for transmission lines, and no results of the examination of the actual test specimens that were exposed to forest fire have been reported. As the deterioration characteristics of a forest fire are difficult to analyze in the actual field, an environment that was similar to that in the field was used in this study. Deterioration was deposited on a wire using an artificial flame experiment device, to analysis the temperature, surface and component characteristics. It seems that this analysis data in this study can be used as the basic data for the database that can be utilized to analyze wires exposed to forest fire and deterioration and to predict the ACSR wire refurnishment life.
