호림박물관은 국내 3대 사립박물관으로 소장 유물의 가치를 높게 평가받고 있다. 하지만 소장 유물 중 전적은 대장경과 사경만이 일부 알려져 있다. 본인은 호림박물관에 재직하며 전적에 대한 전수조사를 실시하였다. 그 중 금속활자본을 대상으로 현황을 정리하였고, 주요 금속활자본의 특징과 가치에 대하여 기술하였다. 호림박물관 소장 금속활자본은 총 150종 489책으로 조선시기에 간행된 다양한 금속활자본이 존재하며, 기존에 원본이 남아있지 않다고 생각하였던 초주갑인자본 『香山三體法』이 확인되었다. 경자자본 『資治通鑑綱目』 중 사주쌍변본은 기존에 실록의 기록에 근거하여 제작 시기를 1422년으로 여겼으나, 발문이 붙어있는 마지막 권을 확인하여 제작시기는 1428년 무렵으로 확인되었다. 앞으로 사주단변본과의 비교연구를 통하여 두 인본의 관계와 1422년 경자자 초인본에 대한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. 또한 초주갑인자본 『近思錄』의 표지를 감지은니 고려사경으로 만들어 놓은 인본이 확인되어 앞으로의 사경연구와 조선시대 불경에 대한 인식을 연구하는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다. 호림박물관의 금속활자본을 통하여 앞으로의 여러 금속활자본 연구에 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다. Horim Museum is famous as one of a private museum in Korea. A considerable number of collection in the museum is evaluated rare and valuable. But very limited oldbooks were opened to the public such as Tripitaka Koreana and some part of manuscripts. So we tried to investigated entire oldbooks of Horim Museum during my tenure of curator. In this study, we summarized the status of oldbooks printed with the metal type and made of list. and study special feature and value about rare books of Horim collections. Oldbooks printed with metal type are 151 kinds of 489 books. They were published in the Joseon Dynasty. The reseacher found undiscovered Hyangsansamchebeop printed with the first Gapinja-metal type. The book Zizhitongjiamgangmu whose style has two lines of four border in the text, so called SajooSSangbyun was regarded that the publishing year in 1422. But there were publication record of 1428 at the end of the book. Comparative studies should be carried between one line side(SaJudanByen: 사주쌍변) style books of Zizhitongjiamgangmu that about the relationship between the two books and study of first published Zizhitongjiamgangmu with Gyungjaja-metal type. Also new edition of Geunsarok printed with first Gapinja-metaltype was discovered in this study. The cover of this book cover was made of Silver on Indigo Paper manuscript in the Goryeo Dynasty. That has considerable meaning about thinking of Buddhism in the Joseon Dynasty. We hope this study could be helpful on the research of metal type printing.

The Old Engraving Museum houses the only woodblock of Korean Flag used in Donghak in Korea. Unlike Korean Flag, which is generally made of cloth, the Korean Flag woodblock was produced for the purpose of distributing it widely through printing. The Dong-hak Korean Flag woodblock with 'Bogukanmin' was produced at the time when Oh Ji-young, one of the leaders of the Dong-hak Peasant Movement, was active as a 'Yangho-dochal'. The woodblock is presumed to have been used for the Donghak Peasant Movement by mass printing Korean Flag, and it can be evaluated as a very important material in modern history. 고판화박물관은 국내에서 유일한 동학에서 사용한 태극기 목판을 소장하고 있다. 태극기 목판은 일반적으로 천으로 제작된 태극기와는 달리 인쇄를 통하여 널리 배포하기 위한 목적으로 제작된 것이다. ‘보국안민’ 동학 태극기 목판은 동학농민운동의 지도자 중 한명인 오지영이 양호도찰로 활약하던 당시에 제작된 태극기의 목판이다. 대량으로 태극기를 인쇄하여 동학농민운동에 사용되었을 것으로 추정되는 사료로 동학농민운동과 근대 역사에서 매우 중요한 자료로 평가할 수 있다. 또한 현존하는 태극기 자료 중에서 시대가 빠른 편으로 초기 태극의 원형을 연구하는데도 매우 중요한 자료이다.

고온에서 고압 수증기에 의한 지르칼로이-4 의 산화 가속

The high-pressure steam effects on the oxidation of Zircaloy-4 (Zry-4)cladding at high temperature have been analyzed. A double layer autoclave was made for the high pressure, high temperature oxidation experiments. Westinghouse product of Zry-4 cladding was used as specimens. Test temperature range was 700-900℃, and pressures were 0.1-15 MPa. High pressure steam enhances oxidation of Zry-4, and the dependency of enhancement looks exponential to steam pressure. The origin of the oxidation enhancement is the formation of cracks in oxide. The loss of tetragonal phase by high-pressure steam seems related to the crack formation.

A defect model has been developed to explain the oxygen potential of neodymium-doped urania. The defect structure of pure urania is used as a base. Nd-dopants are assumed to stay alone without forming any clusters and push away nearby oxygen interstitials reducing the number of interstitial sites. This model explains the abrupt change of the oxygen potential at O/M ratio=2 as well as the increase of the potential increase with the dopant concentration.

본 논문에서는 간경도감 간행본으로 알려져 있는 인본 중 간경도감에서 간행한 인본이 아닌 것을 정리하였다. 또한 간경도감 간행의 刊記가 없지만 간경도감에서 간행되었을 가능성이 높은 인본에 대해 서지적으로 분석하였다. 간경도감 간행본으로 알려져 있으나 아닌 인본으로는 『妙法蓮華經玄義』, 『法華文句記』, 『首楞嚴經義疏注經』, 『蒙山和尙法語略錄』(언해), 『開四分律宗記義鏡鈔』 등의 5종의 인본이 확인되었다. 5종의 인본 모두 명확한 간기를 가지고 있지 않은 인본으로 선행연구의 언급에 따라 간경도감판으로 알려져 왔으나 명확한 근거가 없거나, 간경도감 간행본과는 차이가 있다. 1469년에 간행된 『佛說豫修十王生七經』과 1470년에 貞熹王后 發願 『妙法蓮華經』은 간경도감에서 간행했을 가능성이 있다.

고려 금속활자 중 僻字의 현황과 「龍龕手鏡」·「龍龕手鑑」과의 관계

Among the Goryeo metal types known to date, many difficult Chinese characters are included. It was difficult to know the books in which their type was used, and various institutions even explain that they are not for ordinary books. In some cases, these difficult metal types were used as grounds that the type was fake. In this study, the use of difficult Chinese characters among Goryeo types was confirmed in the Rhonggham-suggyung and Rhonggham-sugham published in Korea. These difficult Chinese characters are very likely to be types cast for the publication of Rhonggham-suggyung or Rhonggham-sugham. Through this study, it is believed that the type of difficult Chinese characters will serve as an opportunity to completely change the perception of the existing, suggesting a new direction for the study of Goryeo metal types.
