목적 본 연구는 학령인구 감소와 대학생들의 중도탈락 증가 등 대학이 처한 큰 위기상황에서 교수들은 무엇을 하여야 하는지, 그리고 교수들이 해야 할 역할을 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 어떤 역량을 발휘해야 하는지를 구체화하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 후기 청소년들인 대학생들이 겪는 어려움과 대학이 처한 위기 상황에서 교수들의 역할과 역량을 문헌과 44명의 교수들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 확인하고 교수역량을 모델링하였다. 결과 학생지도, 지원을 위해 대학교 교수들은 멘토, 퍼실리테이터, 커리어 코치 역할을 수행하는 것이 적합한 것으로 확인되었으며, 세 가지 역할을 성공적으로 수행하기 위해 각각의 역할별로 3개 역량 총 9개의 역량이 도출되었고 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 교수들은 좀 더 적극적이고 확장된 역할을 수행하여야 한다는 것을 명확히 인식하고, 본 연구에서 제시된 세 가지 역할, 멘토, 퍼실리테이터, 커리어 코치 역할을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있도록 역량을 개발하고 발휘하여야 할 것이다. 학교에서는 학생지도와 지원을 위한 역할을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있도록 교수들이 역량을 개발하고 발휘하는데 활용할 수 있는 교내외의 프로그램들을 다양화하고 개발할 필요가 있다. Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify what professors should do in the face of major challenges for universities, such as declining school-age population and increasing student attrition rates. Additionally, the study aimed to specify the competencies that professors need to exhibit in order to successfully fulfill their roles. Methods Difficulties experienced by college students as late adolescents and the roles and competencies of professors in the crisis situation of universities were examined through literature review and a survey involving 44 professors. The professor competencies were then modeled based on the findings. Results It was found that professors should assume the roles of mentors, facilitators, and career coaches in order to provide guidance and support to students. For each role, a total of three competencies, resulting in nine competencies overall, were derived and deemed appropriate for successfully fulfilling the respective roles. Conclusions Professors need to recognize the need for more proactive and expanded roles. They should develop and demonstrate the competencies identified in this study in order to successfully perform the three roles of mentor, facilitator, and career coach. Universities should diversify and develop both internal and external programs that enable professors to develop and utilize their competencies to effectively fulfill their roles in student guidance and support.

Objectives This study aimed to identify the factors influencing satisfaction and adaptation to college life among current university students amid significant challenges such as declining student populations and increased dropout rates. Methods The adaptation of university students was measured through satisfaction levels, adaptation, class satisfaction, class participation, and considerations of dropping out or taking a leave of absence. Factors influencing these aspects, such as goal setting, club activities, peer relationships, support from seniors, and communication with professors, were also measured. Results It was observed that as university students set specific goals for their future, they adapted well to university life, exhibited higher satisfaction levels, and were less inclined to consider dropping out or taking a leave of absence. Furthermore, the study identified variations in university adaptation and satisfaction based on the level of social support types during college life, such as engagement in club activities, peer relationships, support from seniors, and communication with professors. Active participation in club activities, close relationships with peers, receiving support from seniors, and engaging in effective communication with professors correlated with better university adaptation and higher satisfaction levels. Students who received ample social support adapted well to university life, exhibited higher satisfaction levels, and were less likely to consider dropping out or taking a leave of absence. Conclusions Based on the findings of this study, suggestions were made regarding efforts required to enhance students' adaptation and satisfaction within university settings. 목적 본 연구는 학령인구 감소와 대학생들의 중도탈락 증가 등 대학이 처한 큰 위기 상황에서 대학에 재학 중인 학생들이 대학생활에 만족하고 적응에 영향을 주는 요인들을 확인하고자 하였다. 방법 대학생들의 대학적응을 만족도, 적응도, 수업만족도, 수업참여도, 자퇴나 휴학 고려로 측정하였고, 이에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 목표설정, 동아리 활동, 동료관계, 선배들의 지원, 교수와의 소통에 대해 측정하였다. 결과 대학생들이 미래에 대한 구체적인 목표를 설정할수록 대학에 잘 적응하고 만족도가 높으며, 자퇴나 휴학을 생각하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대학생활에서 사회적 지지 유형, 즉 동아리 활동, 동료관계, 선배들의 지원, 교수와의 소통 정도에 따라 대학적응과 만족도가 다른 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 동아리 활동에 적극적으로 참여하는 학생들, 동료들과 관계가 친밀한 학생들, 선배로부터 도음을 많이 받는 학생들, 교수와 소통이 많은 학생들이 대학에 적응을 잘하고 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지를 많이 받는 학생들이 대학에 잘 적응하고 만족도가 높으며 자퇴나 휴학을 고려하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과에 기초하여 대학에서 학생들의 적응과 만족도 향상을 위해 어떤 노력이 필요한지를 제안하였다.

인간의 사회적 행동을 결정하는 핵심변인 중 하나가 태도라는 것에 많은 연구자가가 동의하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 태도와 관련된 연구결과들을 종합 분석하여 연구의 방향성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 태도의 구조와 기능에 대해 분석 정리하였고, 태도변화와 관련된 연구결과들을 통해 태도변화 결정요인들에 대한 쟁점들을 제시하였다. 또한 태도변화 관련 핵심이론을 세 가지 제시하여 후속 연구의 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. A number of researchers have agreed that an attitude, as the primary variable, determines social behaviors. In this research, the authors aim to suggest future research areas by analyzing the extensive literature regarding attitudes. With this objective, the authors aim to achieve followings in this research : a) analyze the structure and the functions of attitudes by reviewing extensive articles in this field, b) point out the factors of attitude change utilizing the literature regarding attitude change, and c) suggest future research areas in the attitude change study by providing three significant theories dealing with attitude changes.
