신채호는 3·1운동 때 분출된 민중의 힘을 경험하며 민중을 역사변혁의 주체로 인식하게 되었다. 1923년에는 「朝鮮革命宣言」을 집필하며 무정부주의에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓혔고, 이해 가을경 무정부주의자를 자처할 정도로 인식이 심화되었다. 단재의 무정부주의 사상과 운동을 평가하는 관점 또한 다양하나, 이는 그가 이미 경험한 독립운동 이념과 방법론의 주체적 변화로 보는 것이 타당하다. 단재는 절대 독립론과 민중 직접혁명론을 실현하기 위한 방편으로 동방민족연대론을 구상하고 이를 실천하고자 하였다. 그가 국제적 연대나 동방민족연대론을 지니게 된 것은 무정부주의 사상의 주체적 수용과 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 이는 그의 사상과 독립운동론에서 커다란 변화였다. 1920년대 들어 단재는 조선의 독립이 동양평화에도 중요한 의미를 지닌다고 확신하고 한중연대를 주장하였다. 그리고 그 연장선상에서 동방민족연대론을 주장하였다. 그의 동방민족연대론은 곧 植民地·半植民地 동방피압박민족연대론이었다. 단재는 1926년 여름경부터 무정부주의 단체에 가입하여 활동하였다. 그러나 활동 자금 조달을 위해 외국위체를 위조하여 현금으로 찾으려다 1928년 기륭우편국에서 피체되어 뜻을 이루지 못하였다. 丹齋 申采浩, 그는 조선의 크로포트킨이 되어 독립을 추구한 한국의 독립운동가였을 뿐만 아니라, 동방피압박민족의 식민지·반식민지 모순을 타파하고 동양평화를 이루고자 한 동방의 혁명가라 평가할 수 있을 것이다. Experiencing people power which gushed out at the 3·1Independence Movement, he recognized the mass of the people as the main agent of a historical change. Writing "A declaration of Korea's Revolution" in 1923, he broadened his understanding of anarchism and deepened his understanding of it enough to call himself an anarchist in the autumn of the year. Though there are diverse views evaluating his thought of anarchism and activities, it would be appropriate to recognize them as the subjective change of the ideology and methodology of the independence movement that he had experienced. Danjae designed the "Theory of solidarity of the oppressed people in the East" as a means to carry out the theories of "Absolute independence" and "Direct revolution by the mass of the people" and tried to put it into practice. His international solidarity and theory of solidarity of the people in the East had close relations with his subjective acceptance of anarchism and this was a considerable change in his thought and theory of independence movement. Danjae was sure that Korea's independence would have a significant meaning for peace in the East and maintained solidarity between Korea and China. And by extension, he maintained the theory of solidarity of the people in the East. His theory was the theory of solidarity of the oppressed people in East who were under colonial rule. He participated in an organization of anarchism and worked for it. But he was captured at a postoffice in Keelung in 1928 exchanging the fake foreign exchanging into currency in order to raise capital for their activities and couldn't attain his aim. Danjae Shin, Chae-ho, he could be called as a revolutionist in the East who tried to attain peace in the East breaking down contradiction of colonial rule for the oppressed people as well as an independence fighter looking for Korea's independence as a Korea's Kropotkin.
3 · 1운동 공판기록을 통해 본 충북 출신 `민족대표`의 독립사상

Chungbuk produced 6 people, Son Byeong-hee, Kwon Dong-jin, Kwon Byeong-duk, Shin Suk-gu, Shin Hong-sik and Jung Chun-su, among the National Representatives. This article is to organize their independence thoughts through the public trial records. The National Representatives from Chungbuk denied the colonial domination by Japanese imperialism and convinced the independence. They believed to the Koreans could never be assimilated with Japanese imperialism and had a fierce fight with Japanese prosecutors and judges defending Colonial Benefit Theory and Colonial Modernization Theory. They aimed at the opportunity of independence movement observing the international situation filled with new atmosphere of world reconstruction and National Self-Determination. It is considered, however, that they couldn’t recognize beyond the romantic expectation and fantasy about the extent and the limitation of National Self-Determination so well. The National Representatives insisted the theory of oriental peace. The theory of oriental peace they insisted is similar with that of Ahn Joong-keun, and it is fundamentally different with Ito Hirobumi;s. But their theory of oriental peace reveals its limitation of orientalism considering it as confrontation between the East and the West or Mongoloid and Caucasian; this should be understood that this is a way to insist Pre Joseon Independence Theory. Son Byeong-hee and most of the National Representatives sought for the democratic republicanism. But Jung Chun-su unfolded the theory of the form of government which is very different with the democratic republicanism. They didn’t believe they could achieve independence so soon. They unfolded themselves that they were a grain for independence. Their independence mind that they had planted sacrificing themselves germinated Korean Provisional Government. But the National Representatives disclosed their limitation as religious enlighteners. They believed Japan would protect Korea. This shows that they couldn’t understand the real quality for invasion of Japanese imperialism. They also showed their limitation that they were concerned with religion over national people or country. Furthermore, they showed the mass distrust theory that they couldn’t recognize the general people as the main body of historical revolution. But the relationship between them and Hurrah demonstration is confirmed and it is necessary to be careful to unfold opinion that the National Representatives severed relationship completely with the general people.
