도시 물류 공간에서의 정보 공간 도입 방안

본 연구는 도시 물류 공간에 정보 공간의 도입에 따라 발생하는 변화를 토의하고 물류 공간의 구축 방향과 이를 돕는 정부의 역할을 이론적인 면에서 접근하였다. 본 연구는 물류 공간의 정보공간화로 요약될 수 있는 데, 가상세계에서 사용자가 대리인을 등장시켜 물품의 운반, 저장, 조립, 가공 등의 활동을 하게 할 때 현실 물류 공간에서는 로봇을 통하여 실제적으로 물류활동이 이행되게 하는 것이다. 이로 말미암아 물류 처리에 상승효과를 기대할 수 있고 면대면 만남을 대체할 수 있는 대체효과가 있으며, 새로운 물류 수요가 발생하는 촉발효과가 있음을 알았다. 도시물류 공간에 정보 공간의 도입을 위하여 지리 정보 시스템을 이용한 공간 시뮤레이션이 웹서비스로 실시간에 이루어지고 항만 등 물류체계가 네트워크화 되어 통합관리체계로 이루어지며 거래의 장이 도시 물류 공간에 집적되어 구축되어야 함을 알았다. 이를 위하여 도시 정부는 중앙정부와 시·도 지방 정부와 정책적 연계를 유지하고 전자 상거래의 활성화를 도모하며 사회문화적인 여건을 마련하여함을 알았다.

관광전공자의 해외인턴십 참여의사와 문화간 민감성, 언어능력 간의 상관관계에 대한 연구

Overseas internship has drawn interest from the academia in terms of the internationalization of the university curricula and the provision of international job opportunities. This study examined the relationship between the intention to participate in overseas internship, intercultural sensitivity and language ability of tourism majors. A survey was conducted in a university where internship abroad program is highly recognized among tourism students. A total of 238 responses were used for data analysis. The study results revealed that there is a significant relationship between intercultural sensitivity and the intention to participate in overseas internship. Particularly respect for cultural differences and interaction engagement are found to be important to increase the students' intention to join overseas internship. However, English language ability and the overseas travel experiences that are expected to be related to the intention to participate in overseas internship showed no significant relationship. Based on these findings, it was suggested that an intercultural course needs to be developed and included in the tourism curricula, while integrating intercultural contents in the existing tourism courses. 해외인턴십은 해외취업 기회의 제공과 교육과정의 국제화라는 측면에서 최근 관심을 끌고 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 배경에서 해외인턴십을 활성화함에 있어 중요하게 고려될 수 있는 요인들을 중심으로 해외인턴십 참여의사와의 관련성을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 해외인턴십이 활발하게 시행되고 한 대학 관광학부의 재학생을 대상으로 2015년 4월 13일부터 24일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 238부의 유효 설문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과 관광전공 대학생의 문화간 민감성은 해외인턴십 참여의사와 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 요인분석 결과 나타난 문화간 민감성의 요소 중 문화간 차이 존중과 문화간 상호작용에 대한 적극적 태도가 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 기대했던 언어능력과 해외여행경험은 해외인턴십 참여의사와 유의미한 관계를 보여주지 못했다. 연구결과를 토대로 문화간 민감성과 관련된 교육과정의 개발 필요성과 기존 교육과정에서의 문화간 교육 필요성을 강조하였다.

관광전공자의 영어 학습동기가 성취도와 문화간 태도에 미치는 영향

This study examined the effects of English learning motivations on English proficiency and cross-cultural attitudes. Tourism majors in four universities in metropolitan areas participated in the study (N=357). The study result showed that tourism students study English with three major kinds of motivation in mind; namely, integrative motivation, intrinsic motivation and instrumental motivation. Integrative and intrinsic motivations were found to have positive influences on cross-cultural attitudes, while only the intrinsic motivation has an influence on the English proficiency. However, instrumental motivation showed no positive effect on either proficiency or cross-cultural attitudes. Rather, instrumental motivation was found to have a negative impact on cross-cultural attitudes. Based on these findings, it is suggested there is a need to promote integrative and intrinsic motivations to increase cross-cultural attitudes and English proficiency. Some measures to promote integrative and intrinsic motivations are discussed.. Limitations of the study and further study areas are also presented.

관광전공자의 지속가능발전교육(ESD)에 대한 수요 분석

The concept of sustainable development is important in tourism as its various forms of are closely related to this concept. They all appear under the name of sustainable tourism. However, there are very few courses teaching this concept within the tourism curriculum and only a small number of tourism departments provide these courses. This study was implemented to examine the need for ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) within the tourism major and suggest directions for ESD in tourism education. An empirical study of 766 students from 5 universities was conducted using quota sampling and these showed a high demand for ESD themes in general (M=3.78) It also showed that the current teaching level of ESD however was low (M=2.81). The major themes in ESD and the themes in socio-cultural domain are: international understanding, multi-cultural understanding, conflict resolution, and civil education. These themes all showed high demand followed by themes of corporate social responsibility and responsible consumption in economic domain. The themes concerning environmental domain showed relatively low demand, but themes like eco-friendly energy, waste disposal/recycling of resources, and disaster prevention showed relatively high demand when compared with the current level of teaching. In conclusion, the need for a holistic approach through ESD in sustainability education in tourism is paramount. A follow-up study on the relationship between the concepts of sustainable development and sustainable tourism through an analysis of the contents of ecotourism courses in tourism curricula is also recommended. 관광분야에서 지속가능한 발전(sustainable development)은 중요한 개념이며 다양한 형태의 관광이 지속가능한 관광(sustainable tourism)과 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있다. 그러나 관광교육과정에서 지속가능한 발전을 가르치는 교과목은 매우 적으며, 이를 개설한 관광관련 학과도 적은 것이 현실이다. 이러한 배경에서 본 논문은 지속가능발전교육(ESD: education for sustainable development)에서 강조하고 있는 다양한 주제에 대해 현재 교육수준은 어떠하며, 관광관련 전공자들의 ESD 교육수요는 어떤지를 조사 분석함으로써 지속가능발전교육의 필요성과 향후 교육의 방향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 전국을 대상으로 할당표본추출에 의해 관광학과를 개설한 대학 중 5개의 대학을 선정하여 실증조사를 한 결과 ESD에 대한 교육 요구도는 높은 수준(M=3.78)인 반면 현재의 교육수준은 평균 이하(M=2.81)인 것으로 나타났으며, 지속가능발전교육의 여러 주제 중 국제이해, 다문화 이해, 갈등해결, 민주시민교육 등 사회부문의 주제와 기업의 사회적 책임 등 경제부문의 주제에 대해 특히 교육요구도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 환경부문에서는 친환경에너지, 쓰레기 처리와 자원재활용, 재해예방 등의 주제가 현재 교육수준에 비해 요구도가 상대적으로 높아 교육 강화가 요구되는 주제로 밝혀졌다. 결론으로 ESD를 통한 사회, 경제, 환경부문에서의 통합적 접근이 관광의 지속가능성교육에 필요함이 강조되었다. 후속 연구에서는 지속가능발전의 관점에서 생태관광 등 지속가능관광 관련 교과목의 교육 내용을 분석함으로써 두 개념의 관계를 밝히는 것이 필요함을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the concept of intercultural communication competence(ICC) in tourism studies and to explore its applicability in tourism research. ICC has been studied for over 50 years as many people work or live in culturally different places. Since one of the premises of tourism is intercultural interaction, this inquiry deserves more attention from tourism professionals. In order to establish a basis for the ICC study in the tourism field, an extensive review of literature on ICC has been conducted to articulate its concept and structure.
