하지 운동프로그램이 직장 여성의 하지 부종과 통증에 미치는 영향

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of 8 weeks of lower extremity exercise program on lower extremity edema and pain in women with working in office. Twenty-woman officers worked in sitting posture participated in this study and were randomly assigned into the exercise group (n=10) and the control group (n=10) according to order of registration for this study. The lower extremity exercise program was consisted of strengthening and stretching exercise and conducted using the participant"s weight at workplace. The exercise group performed the modified exercise program with three times a week for 8 weeks. In results, there was a significant different in muscle mass (p<.01), edema in calf (p<.05) and ankle (p<.01), and pain of calf (p<.001) after exercise intervention. This result suggests that lower extremity exercise program is a beneficial intervention to reduce lower extremity edema and pain in women officers with longstanding sitting position.
도수견인법과 근막이완을 통한 경추 정렬의 변화가 목 기능에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of changes in cervical alignment on the details of neck disability index. Groups with altered cervical alignment were treated with chiropractic and shoulder stabilization exercises for 8 weeks. The changes of cervical alignment and neck disability index were measured before and after. The pre and post difference of the experimental group was tested by Mann- Whitney method. The difference between the experimental group and the control group was tested by Wilcoxon ranksum test method. The significance level (α) of all statistical analyzes was set to .05. Cervical alignment in the experimental group decreased significantly at the front of the gravity line (p <.041) and at the center of the gravity line (p <.040). Lifting, personal care, and work of neck disability index showed significant difference only in personal care and work as a result of post-measurement. Did not appear. The modified cervical spine alignment showed differences in the index of neck disability index, daily care, and work. Combined chiropractic and shoulder stabilization exercises showed effective results in daily care and work but did not change lifting items.
슬관절 골관절염 환자의 무릎 통증이 대퇴 근력과 고유수용성감각 및 균형에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of knee pain on the quadriceps strength, proprioception and balance in subjects with bilateral knee osteoarthritis and the correlation between muscle strength, proprioception, and balance in knee osteoarthritis patients with knee pain. The inclusion criteria were symptomatic and radiographic bilateral knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren-Lawrence grade ≥2), visual analogue scale difference of the both knees ≥2. Thirty three participants (32 women, 1 men: mean age, 59.18 years) underwent assessment of maximal voluntary contraction of quadriceps and hamstring muscles, knee proprioceptive acuity (measure passive joint reposition sense) and balance index using Biodex System 3 isokinetic dynamometer and Biodex balance System. In this study, the more pain knee had weaker quadriceps strength than less pain knee (p<0.05) but proprioceptive acuity and balance index did not show significant differences in both knees (p>0.05). Poor proprioception was associated with low quadriceps strength and poor Medio-lateral Stability Index (p<0.05). Future studies needed to account the influence of pain on neuromuscular factors as well as attempt to further clarify the relationships between these factors.
